MY WIFE SAID when she was a teenager on the public bus. A guy rubbed up against her. The 3rd time he did it my wife started yelling so the entire bus could hear and punch him. He got off at the next stop and everyone yelled at him as he was leaving "Perv".

One of the important things I learned in my 6 years in the Army is to be aware of my surroundings everywhere I go. Even going to a bookstore, I look around and take observation of my surroundings. You just never know. Never let your guard down when you're out in public.

I'm not in the military by any means but I always try to be as aware of my surroundings as possible, I try to get seats facing entrances and take note of exits, doors, people, etc...
Another thing I do is keep a eye out for impromtu weapons for self defense just incase, since I only carry a dinky pocket knife.
I started doing that ever since I saw this video of a man wielding a knife in walmart and a random shopper without even thinking picked up one of those fence posts in the front check out, y'know the kind with the seatbelt connecting 'em. He snuck up behind him when he was looking away then *bonk* one swing and the situation was resolved.
In conclusion, stay safe! you never know when shits gonna hit the fan these days so be prepared. Ps - thank you for yalls service!

If this has been going on for a long time in Barnes and Noble, how haven’t employees noticed this before? And I’m sure other women have mentioned it to the employees as well… us women know when there’s a man creeping around near us, it’s like a 6th sense. You don’t have to even see him to know he’s there

He should be locked away because he's a danger to the public, but people like him are never punished or incarcerated sufficiently. I used to work as an officer in a sexual offences unit. These predators are cowards. Call them out loudly if they are acting weirdly. They'll slither off very quickly. If you can film them, great, and take it to the Police. If the police don't do anything, put it online with the location tagged.
