I have a rule. Never piss off the driver of the car you’re in. No matter what, NEVER be mad disrespectful. You see, if I were the driver, I’d give her a ride. 20 miles in the opposite direction at about 80-85 mph, taking every turn on two wheels, and when I feel she’s learned her lesson I’d kick her out of my car in the most literal sense. I used to teach in smaller (about 600 students) schools in Oregon. Many are forgetting that this child learned this type of behavior at her parents knees. The teachers, school bus drivers, city bus drivers, and now uber drivers not only have to deal with the brat, but with two or more bratty parents. I taught high school English and i had between 140-200 students a day in my room. All anyone had to do is the math to see why teachers have one of the highest rates of attrition of any career going.

I have a rule. Never piss off the driver of the car you’re in. No matter what, NEVER be mad disrespectful. You see, if I were the driver, I’d give her a ride. 20 miles in the opposite direction at about 80-85 mph, taking every turn on two wheels, and when I feel she’s learned her lesson I’d kick her out of my car in the most literal sense. All the while not being mad disrespectful, of course

It still a company car. I never claimed it was uber's company car. Drivers are working for themself and are basiclly private contractors. People even buy specific cars that are for Uber first then they use it as their personal car. They buy a car with extra seats or good gas millage for Uber but off the clock they use that car as their personal vehicle. They put more miles and wear and tear on that vehicle as a company car then they ever do as a personal vehicle.

Uber and Lyft, and taxi cab companies really need to have better and stronger support for their divers who are just trying to make a living, many using their own car. Without drivers Uber and Lyft wouldn't even have a business.

I used to teach in smaller (about 600 students) schools in Oregon. Many are forgetting that this child learned this type of behavior at her parents knees. The teachers, school bus drivers, city bus drivers, and now uber drivers not only have to deal with the brat, but with two or more bratty parents. I taught high school English and i had between 140-200 students a day in my room. All anyone had to do is the math to see why teachers have one of the highest rates of attrition of any career going.
This is what happens when you raise a generation of children that are never told they are wrong, it’s never their fault, no scores are kept, no one wins or loses, everyone gets a participation trophy, everything is okay to do and nothing is wrong, there are no wrong or right answers, everyone else is to blame for your poor choices and failures in life……
