    These videos are great reminders for me. I’ve been on the recovery journey about 10 months now, and I realise the progress I have made. It can be so easy to believe the bluff and be hooked in to each and every trick anxiety throws at you, but I also realise that I don’t always respond well because it’s learning a new skill and it takes time. I have some thoughts which worry me and others that no longer do. I see this as anxiety working harder to keep me bluffed. I just need to keep the response consistent.

    Dear Sam, your videos help tremendously not only in great content with Dr. Claire & David Johnson teachings but your deeply felt compassion & calm reassurance in your explanations of what’s occurring & what we need to do in “allowing” & “go loose” in the body. Like so many others who comment, I am deeply grateful for you helping all of us find our way to hope & full recovery. My heart, thoughts & prayers are with you & all who need help. May our Good Lord continue to bless you & all you serve. 🙏🙏🙏 dee

    Thank you Soooo much for this awesome video, Sam 🙏🦄😀 love how you've explained this, makes it easy to understand and really reassuring , great reminder to treat it just like any other sensation !
    -can I ask you: In regards to people recovering from anxiety ASWELL as a chronic health issue (like chronic pain...but more interestingly "chronic fatigue syndrome " or long covid type stuff) would you suggest the exact same way of thinking or strategy for these sensations(symptoms)?-like the fatigue for cfs is next level, but ive used NLP/brain retraining to get to where I am in recovery so far and come accrossyour workonly a few weeks ago-your work/claire weeks teachings really seem interchangeable to use with recovering from both the anxiety aspect and maybe also the chronic health issues/symptoms..do we just treat them ALL the same ?
    I know the "fear/anxiety + symptom loop" is what is a big part In fueling keeping this chronic health stuff going...because symptoms you expect from past experiences your brain can basically create right, like pathways that are wired, fire together....Would be super greatful to hear your thoughts or suggestions if you have time on the strategy for these type of symptoms combined with anxiety 🙏🦄😊

      Staying open, going loose, allowing and not taking any sensation too seriously is just as important for chronic health issues. I would add that CFS, or long covid are actually subject states that frequently change. Using my methods to step out of the label and just allow moment by moment sensations if and when they arise, not matter how intense, is the way to recover from anxiety and chronic issues.

      @@openchangeau thank you sooo much for your reply and thoughts 🙏 ok that's great to know 👌
      Yes I totally understand about dropping the health labels too, since doing NLP - in general don't use it whenever possible anymore/try to completely not identify with it 😅🧘‍♀️ its almost like something I am "duing" not something i "have" or more to thr point im just "duing a whole range of sensations" (i just fin sometimes its hard to ask a question in these situations where I want to ask a question that sort of relates to it haha 😅 😉) thank you Sam 🙏

    Hi Samuel, when the feelings of physical fatigue are there and we need to work, they can make the work much harder and more frustrating. What's best way to approach them whilst working and there isn't an opportunity to rest etc ?

    • @openchangeau
      @openchangeau  Месяц назад +3

      Feelings of fatigue are part of the bluff, so we need to treat them as such and gently move forward, whilst allowing and the energy we need will find us if we lead the way first. It is not about pushing yourself harder. We can nap and rest outside of work to reset and recharge.

    Thank You... really helpful and informative.Why does my fatigue and anxiety get worse in Summer months, does heat affect cortisol?

    • @briechilli4496
      @briechilli4496 Месяц назад +1

      Could be, could also be the nervous system being sensitised and we can experience temperature dis regulation/ sensitivity to heat or cold.

    • @openchangeau
      @openchangeau  Месяц назад +1

      Tiredness is a normal mechanism to cope with heat - it encourages us to move slower so we create less heat and energy in our body to stay cool. Different seasons have different effects, the trick is to not take the changes to seriously and practice the same way through them.
