I was wondering if there is ever a time he isn’t in pain? I know that sounds crazy but I can’t even imagine how he could not be in massive pain. Kidney stones and infections are more painful than childbirth yet he still just pushes on. You two are definitely super humans! If ever I wanted to believe in soulmates you are proof of that.
IDK- My daughter had something similar happen. The hospital staff in UTAH USA did nothing but sit around on their cell phones while she screamed. This pain is so intense! It was lodged and took 3 surgeries.
You two are just so awesome, how you try so hard to do "normal" things, and you manage to do them. You always come through. I applaud your determination and spirit. You both rock.

I went to Chicago, then down to St. Louis for a continuing education seminar. Due to my medical situation, I traveled via the train from Seattle. Wonderful, beautiful, fun. My daughter got me the room that is the width of the train where I had my own bathroom, sink, bed, etc. and room to move about. I found train travel a wonderful mode of transportation for one dealing with medical stuff. I'm with Sabia on flying. No, thank you, if I don't have to. Maybe look into it. It might be a more relaxing way to travel for y'all. I'm really glad you got away on a vacation. I wish it hadn't been so difficult with the driving, the plane, the sidewalks -- oh my gosh. But I do want to say again what an amazingly strong woman Sabia is, and Loren I know you know, you're very lucky to have her in your life. Don't ever beat yourselves up -- you're both absolutely amazing. Don't forget that fact. Thank you again for sharing. Having had a kidney stone, yikes!, no fun. Kidney stones are absolutely the worst pain I've ever had!! I had one behind another from the time I was 25 until i was 40!!! Ive had so many surgeries to remove them! I've had them completely shut my kidneys down and become septic from infections from them. Its just awful and i feel for you!!!! I hope you feel better soon !!! Im terrified of heights too!!!!! Midwest humidity is no joke! Plan another trip to Chicago but go in the spring or fall and consider taking a train. All the stuff you had to skip is definitely worth seeing but not when you're sleep deprived and feeling sick from the heat and humidity. Glad you got to go to Lollapalooza though! ❤
