Another great video Jon, thank you. BTW, have you ever watched any of your own videos back with the subtitles on? No, why would you, but hilarious though; apparently you're fishing with dead magic and custard. 😄
Ha ha yes I have actually and other fishing videos! Some of the subtitles they generate are hilarious!

@@JonArthur always a pleasure cocka.
Well done Jon great angling again and congratulations on the section win... However I think you made a massive mistake... You didn't wear the bracelet 😂 #keepthebracelet
😂It sadly fell apart!!
well done Top Rod
Thanks CC 👍
gorgeous looking swim
Nice looking venue all round I think
Great fishing Jon, unusual to have no foul hookers in the margins using groundbait, what's the secret?
Don't feed as tight in as your hook bait and don't overfeed can reduce foul hookers but you'll always get a few
Great video Jon and really interesting chat through after…
If you get fed up of the fishing I’ve a big lawn and a hedge that could do with you gardening skills???
Cheers Mark
You should see the state of my garden/forest
Great stuff as ever Jon! Which grade of the new Matrix catty is that? I've been trying to get hold of the medium one to try for those sort of distances but they're rarer than rocking horse pooh it seems!
Fair play Jon sometimes keeping it simple is better I've won 2 of my last matches just on caster shallow I even managed to break a venue record on my last match 🕺🕺🕺
Awesome. Well done mate 👍💪
@@JonArthur cheers Jon I've won loads of matches over the years and I won the averages in my old club of 20 anglers 3 years in a row but never done a venue record so I was proper made up
Very fair venue
Absolutely
Great video as always jon I like the way you change things about not like some I watch on here who are lazy 😀 top fisherman 👍👍👍👍
Sometimes I’m too busy for my own good, ha ha!
@@JonArthur just stay they way you are jon you do very good in most all your matchs 👍👍
Jon, what do you use to trim up the reeds etc either side of the edges. I met you at RBF when you were coaching someone..👍 really enjoyed the video..
Jon....what make are the bait box containers you use for pellets etc in this video (not the matrix ones)......?......thanks...
Just food storage tubs. Mixture of Lakeland ones and some I got off Amazon. Perfect size for me 👍
Jon, got to ask. How do you manage to keep your casters ‘fresh’ over a two week period?
They're most probably dead but I just cover them in water and leave them in the bait fridge, changing the water every few days. Keep brilliantly like that but sometimes go slightly softer for banding.
How do you keep leftover groundbait? Ar tight bag? Fridge?
Also, how do you not whack somebody in the head shipping back on those pegs!
Bagged up and fridged generally it’ll last a couple days. You can freeze it any longer than that. I was probably on the tightest peg shipping back, but we didn’t get in the way of each other.
I might be wrong but that looks like blue green algie if it is and that goes the hole lake could have a massive fish kill
Yep you’re definitely wrong it’s thankfully not blue green algae. Brad does a great job looking after the place
Hi John
How do you keep your casters fresh? Mine get fridge burnt after a week!
Cheers
Usually keeping them in q brown paper bag inside a plastic bag helps prevent bag burn
If they’re getting burn you’re putting them in the wrong containers. Thin poly bags are no good. Use a brown paper bag inside first, or a thick black bag. I actually tend to just cover in water in a tub/bucket and leave them in fridge like that for up to a week or more.
I like your videos jon but sometimes I wish I could see your float or feeder rod tip
What pole are you using mate ????
Matrix MTX4 👍
👍🏻👏👏
Cheers Chris
