what average angler can afford to put 5kg of cell out each day ? then only catch 1 carp a day and jay caught off his baited spot ridiculous please get real ! wonder if jay selling bait now got anything to do with telling people u need to put out so much bait ?
I agree with you totally mate but if you knew you was going to fish somewhere like farlows you would buy you bait well in advance bit by bit 1kg at a time until you know you would have enough bait before you go
Doesn’t have to be cell. I take 10kg a 48 hour session. Better to have enough than to run out on a good session .. I’m not sponsored and have no ties to any bait company. I’d spend more on a night out on the lash than 10kg costs me . I fish twice a month and like to make the most of my trips. What bait I don’t use i take home and freeze and then that’s the first bait spombed out in the lake next session
I've come across anglers with 1000pound electrical barrows and top of the range bivvys that won't spend on bait ???makes no sense to me but each to there own ✌️
Just fish within your means... if boilie is too expensive then bulk it out with particle, pellet etc.
Jay uses DNA baits which tbf are about as good a price you can get on that quality of boilie, they do a 20kg deal which works out about £6 a kg. And no I don't work for DNA lol, I barely use alot of bait, I prefer to let other anglers put the bait in for me and then wait for the carp to show me where the last personin the swim before me baited up then cast singles/solids/zigs on the spots.
Which average anglers mrs or work let’s them go fishing 2 or 3 weekends a month? If putting in 5-10kg on a weekend gets me a bite to make the most of the weekend then why not for the limited time I’m able to get out
Lee Randall makes me moist. Phenomenal angler … better than most the big names out there.
