Sepultura was one of the best Thrash Metal bands on the planet! Shout out from Brazil!
MATHEUS
Amen brother! Great thrash metal with little death metal around the edges.
Better than Anthrax, IMHO
@@dangr123
Anthrax blows(in my opinion), never got into them
Anthrax rules.
@@christophercarty675
To each his own, some people like chicken, some people like steak. But, to me, they're not even the best 80s trash band in the NY area. Nuclear assult and overkill are so much better.
Well, it's not Dead Embryonic Cells but this works! Amazing song and band.
Someone who tells Vin that if he wants to see Igor Cavalera in action,he must listen to "Arise" at Barcelona, 1991
Lol I was hoping they were putting that one right after. Well, one can hope for a future video of them seeing another song from there.
That video has the most epic stage dive ever.
I mean, they could also just go to a concert...
@@jernejvasic9585 With Nu-Sepultura? I think the fuck not. They'd be so disappointed.
@@zombiTrout dude jumping direct to death in troops of doom lol
Igor Cavalera doesn’t get enough credit. He’s a beast behind the skins.
One of the best
cannot agree more
Saw him in Oslo 2 weeks ago. Beneath, arise tour. Hes still a beast 49 years old
I would sell my soul to the nonexistent devil to be able to play drums like Igor
😁👍👍💪💪💪💪
DEAD EMBRYONIC CELLS - SEPULTURA!!!!
Do nada me aparece uma foto da F.J.G kkkkkkkk
@@LucarbarbarosaHahahahaha
Igor Cavalera can DEFINITELY pull that off. One of the best drummers ever!
He is DEFINITELY NOT. You are a biased fanatic.
Alexey Yakovich a biased fanatic? Are you alright buddy? Did you miss nap time today?
@@alexeyyakovich7464 im sorry igor is fucking amazing i think your trolling
Alexey Yakovich time to put the crack pipe down buddy
Alexey Yakovich please... Shut fuck up!! 🤫
As soon as I saw that vid I had to think about pedro prado asking for Dead Embryonic Cells for mooonths now....poor guy.
Sepultura has 3 albums that are A must listen to any metal fan-"Beneath the Remains"/ "Arise"/"Chaos A.D."
Schizophrenia, morbid visions bestial devastation. They were all great!!
Replace Chaos AD with Schizophrenia and you'll hear no more complaints from here.
I would take out the chaos a.d. one and include the schizophrenia album...that one was a masterpiece!
Then, they can listen to the mainstream ROOTS and NEVER the Sep albums after Max and Iggor left...
@@Max-gz6cs Bullshit, but you're entitled to your (wrong) opinion.
Cmon bruh, admit it, 1,000 times better than Roots.
All we hear is Desperate Cry🤘🏽
Easily
+1 for dead embryonic cells... One of the best songs EVER by any band EVER !!! U will not regret it !
I think we all are wasting our time trying to request, because its all Patreon $hit
Sepultura - Dead Embryonic Cells, Ratamahatta and Refuse/Resist 🤘🏻
@Joshua Berner 35 years and still kicking ass, not short in my book.
Igor Cavalera: challenge accepted!
Amazing what happens when you introduce Sepultura to people and it's not the lackluster Roots Bloody Roots.
Well it's not lackluster, but very overplayed
I don't know why roots always get so many requests, I love sepultura but I've never liked that song.
Yep! The whole Roots album sounds more like a Korn album.
manifest the most insane drumming of the 90s
Exactly
"Arise" was amoung the first metal albums that I was exposed to. Still love it to this day.
It was the first 'real' metal album I've heard in my life. I was floored, but I didn't expect 20 years later it will still be in my top 3 :)
This song and “Inner Self” by Sepultura really got me excited about this band as a young man. They just had this energy and cool aggression that felt so ahead of the pack at that time. They were the heaviest band in the world for a while in my opinion.
Dead Embryonic Cells should be the next Sepultura song you do
If they ever do it and hopefully, not some live version, instead of the badass video : (
Saw them live at Harpos in Detroit in the 90’s they played EVERYTHING double time!!!!! Igor is unbelievable. Without the brothers it’s not Sepultura !!!!!
lets continue the trend see if they see it. Sepultura - Dead Embryonic Cells
First Sepultura song I ever listened to. Amazing song!
Yeaaaah! 🇧🇷 But please “Dead embryonic Cells” must be the next one for sure! Sepultura 🤘🏽
You should react to Sepultura live in Barcelona (91)
Song: Dead Embryonic Cells. It's insane!
The whole show is amazing
This is REAL BRAZILIAN METAL 🇧🇷🖤🤘🏻
Great álbum Arise watch live in Barcelona in 91
Another great performance/reaction !
Cheers n' thanks from Brazil.
Sepultura, live from Barcelona 91, best show ever
Do Dead embryonic cells next so you can drop to the floor from awesomeness
Wow! One guy was requesting it for ages! He got it finally! Nice
I'm a Brazilian fan of your channel and I am really to see you guys reacting to this song.
Greetings from Brazil my friends !!! Cheers !
I love the progressiveness of these tracks. Tons of riffs and tempo changes in each song.
EPIC. 🤟
Igor and Max Cavalera brothers behind Sepultura have a new band Cavalera Conspiracy. They are awesome.
I like soulfly too
And Nailbomb \m/
@@paul_laws I forgot about them. Got the CD 👍
Soulfly 😎🤘
I really like your videos that's what I'm talking about here! Thank you this is the stuff that I have been listening to for years! Sepultura is from Brazil and is so awesome!
The likes for this band is popping off the charts. Popular demand requests more Sepultura immediately 🤘🏽
Woooo...this is the best version of Sepultura...imo
More sepultura please, refuse resist, territory, or dead embryonic cells please 😌
everybody reacts to those, but the best sepultura surely are the first two albums..
@@jernejvasic9585 Nah, Beneath the Remains and Arise are unquestionably the best Sepultura albums. But yes - Refuse, Territory & Roots are such boring songs to introduce people to. Dead Embryonic Cells rules though. If only the average Sepultura fan knew of Subtraction, Slaves of Pain, Primite Future etc.
@@Metalton95 refuse resist isn't boring, the sound of the drums with the tribal influence sounds brilliant imo and the politically charged angry lyrics in refuse resist and territory are good too. I think stuff like that makes them unique and makes them stand out I don't think those songs deserve to be put in the same box as roots
Their death metal stuff is amazing
@@danielfoley89 yes!!! We need more sepultura reactions 😀
Hello Hello from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I´m big fan of your videos! More Sepultura please!
If you guys loved this, pick out any song from Beneath the Remains, you won’t be disappointed. Sepultura is one of the most underrated bands ever.
Possibly the greatest metal song ever. This jam has it all.
Max Cavalera is an absolute legend. Soulfly is his band from around the nu-metal era which has done collaborations with many of Vin's favorite vocalists. Nailbomb and Cavalera Conspiracy are other gems.
Sepultura is so amazing live thank you for the reaction!
Almost 2 years late but I want to share a little story. May 1 1992. Sepultura were on a world tour and my small country was blessed to welcome them for 2 shows in the 2 major cities. Especially in my city very few "big" bands ever come. Me (13 at the time) and a friend (12) were dying to go see them. He managed to get his grandpa to pretend he needed help with something so his parents would leave town for the long weekend and I as an older and more "mature" friend would go stay with him (our mothers were childhood friends). We dressed up and went to get tickets.. I still remember the face , and the tone of the guy in the ticket booth.. "Sorry kid.. Can't sell you tickets. You're both too young to go in a show like this unattended" he said with a smirk... And as kids that we were we cried... We spent that weekend playing D&D with some of his friends slaying imaginary monsters while listening to metal..
More Sepultura songs 👽👍🍻
Dajmon
As long as they are from albums before chaos ad
Cheers from brazil!!!!!!!
Nail bomb
Finally! So glad you guys enjoyed it
You want to see them live??? search the same song live in Barcelona 1991 (best metal concert of all times), is even faster.
Sepultura from Brazil... 🇧🇷
Hey Vin I can see how much you enjoyed this and I highly recommend one of my fav overlooked Sepultura jams called Nomad I know without a doubt you’ll love every second it’s totally up your alley plus I’ve never seen any channel do it. Love u guys
Holy shit I've been trying to get people reacting to metal to listen to this for about 4 months now and finally someone does it!, I've been a headbanger since I was growing up in the 80's/90's and I've heard em all but this is my favourite tune of all time. Thank you for this Vin and Sori!, Doubt you will ever see this message but so awesome that this request got to you somehow. Cheers and rock ya later!
Arise is an amazing album thank you for recognizing the brilliance of this band
I've seen it live brother, and didn't disappoint. This whole album is just as good.
Watch the live version of Sepultura's Desperate cry from their Barcelona show in 1991 if you want to see Sepultura in their prime
Yes finally. I heard this back in middle school mid 90's. Sepultura with Max is freaking 🔥. Thx Guys.
Sepultura, from Schizophrenia through Arise, were in my opinion the BEST riff writers, period. Chaos A.D. is somewhat there too, but those 3 records are perfect. Every song is just a riff onslaught.
Brasil urruuuuu forte abraço galera
Amo o canal de vocês!!🇧🇷❤️🎶
Favorite thrash outro ever, WE HAVE THE POWER! Thanks for sharing. :)
I love this channel even more... you guys have no filter, that’s the way it should be🤟🏻
Wanna see Igor in action? React to Sepultura - Arise Live Barcelona 1991
The real Sepultura!
Awesome reaction!!!🤘🔥🖤
Killer sound!!! Greetins from Brazil
igor cavalera is a beast. his drums where so exotic and origenal back then. he played around the small tom toms back in the day for that certain brazilian vibe. He's a sick drummer. this entire band was out of this world.
Innerself is the best song of Sepultura by far!
It’s about time!!! Gonna watch now
My favorite insightful breakdown reaction channel. Very very good stuff. New sub btw :)
Thank you !!
Awesome song guys!🤘
You can pick any song off the Beneath the remains, Arise and Chaos AD albums.....they're all killers 🤘
Keep up the good work!
I cannot believe those kids had so much illumination in them, Sepultura is such an iconic band, The Cabalera broos and Andreas Kisser where the perfect cocktail, Too bad their egos ended is separation
I'm from Brazil and I have to say:
Muito bom! Sonzaço! Valeu!
So glad you finally experienced some old school Sepultura! Thanks Brian haha!! Looking forward to y’all coming back to this band. Everything they did during this period was just as heavy and perfect as this one song. You won’t be disappointed with anything from the Arise and Beneath the Remains albums. Chaos A.D. is good too imo but that was the start of a huge direction change for them musically but there’s still some great stuff there. Anyways, loved your reaction, I’ll be back!!
I saw them live in 94 at Compton Terrace in Phoenix with Prong and Pantera - I was 15 and won tickets off the radio (Zrock) I just moved here from Detroit in May (2 months before)
Dude… I’m 16… my dad is 45 and he said his favorite concert ever was pantera prong and Sepultura. Could this be the same concert? Cause, my dad lives in Arizona? If so, that is fucking badass dude.
Anything else you can remember about the show? Would be killer? Please?
FYI: I’ll ask him tomorrow when he wakes up

Fun fact: The word Sepultura means "Grave"(as in a Grave in a Cemetery) in Brazilian Portuguese. 😁
Complementary fun fact, Max picked the name from Motorhead's Dancing in your Grave song
Igor and Eloy - two superhuman drummers from Brazil!
Some of the best Riffs and transitions in this albums. “Desperate Cry”
Saw them live on this tour.. stlouis American theatre.. twice as fast as the record.. amazing
I've always interpreted this song as about the futility of life as we all end up dead. That desperate cry is what we have in the back of our minds that we try to bury as deep as possible because we all know life will eventually end no matter what meaning we create. It's a desperate cry at the reality of our existence. Pretty nihilistic message.
Best Sepultura song ever... in my opinion. And it's about time you guys got around to this.
Pull up Sepultura live in Barcelona...he is just as brutal live. The whole band kills it in that concert.
React to Beneath the Remains by Sepultura. Its one of thrash metal's brutal songs.
SAVATAGE - When the Crowds are Gone
A big, classic band you haven't gotten to yet.
and they're not gonna, unless you pay for it lol
I'd start 'em on Gutter Ballet. Never a good idea for your first exposure to a metal band to be a ballad, even if it is an epic ballad.
It has to be Gutter Ballet or Hall Of The Mountain King first.
@@Harv72b How about Jesus Saves? Such a kick ass riff and the analogy in the lyrics is really well done
Got to hear this live a couple of months ago, headbanging with my little bro was one of my favorite moments at a gig!!
Friggin awesome man!!!!!🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘 I have the power!!!
Dead Embryonic Cells will be an 11 for sure.
Arise as a whole is a really good album. I would suggest listening to the title track (Arise) next; it's arguably their best and my personal favourite of theirs.
Saw this in my notifications and just had to comment prior to watching. Love this song & totally dig this album from my early teenage years. Just totally surprised because I don't think I've seen a reaction to this song, or any song for that matter, from the album "Arise".
Glad it's you guys doing it though. Time to watch....
Thanks to this reaction, I have gotten back into old-school Sepultura. I had no idea that Arise and Chaos AD have been rereleased as expanded remastered versions in the past few years. I just got both in the mail yesterday from eBay and they are both amazing, especially Arise. They both have a second disc with demos and a live show. The Arise second disc has most of the LEGENDARY Barcelona 91 show which was the number 1 reason I got it. Desperate Cry , especially the live version from the Barcelona 91 is what got me into Sepultura. MTV's Headbanger's Ball got me into many great songs and bands when they actually did play music.
🤘 live in Barselona 1991,see that
Well, I was lucky to see the classic lineup in 1994 along with the Ramones and Raimundos (Brazilian Hardcore Band). good times. Iggor Cavalera was a monster on the drums
Band like this and faith no more are very underrated bands that deserve more attention 😆
Thanks Bryan!
Isso é uma obra de arte ,sepultura orgulho do brasil
Igor Cavalera, brazilian drummer....Nowadays He plays drums in.. Cavaleras Conspiracy..
Finally!!! I thought You will never do an old school Sepultura song! I told You Sepultura was one of the greatest metal bands ever. Only a few bands could write songs of such quality. Btw all the 'Arise' album is badass like that, and "Beneath the Remains' album too, so there's a lot of songs to listen to. Awesome reaction! Thanks!
Holy shit yes! You listened to my suggestion
"Sepultura" is indeed Portuguese for "bad ass". Also English.
lol
Means Grave actually

Sorry but I don't think Vin has enough brain cells to understand the European pronunciations. His dumbass probably just doesn't know to how to speak.
saw this band live when this album was released and they were touring . Yes , like you say , imagine seeing this band live !!!
Sepultura was my first concert, the day after Christmas 92. I was 15, my mom dropped me and my friend off, even though I've been to numerous shows throughout my life I'll always remember that one. Ministry was also playing wit them from their psalm69 album. And helmet too. It was a great show.
Sepultura, slayer, metallica, dark angel, megadeth, death. for me they are the greatest heavy metal bands
Testament 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Arvind Shastri no kidding. Should be the big 10 not the big 4 🥳
Pantera
Sepultura «Orgasmatron». Cover - Motörhead.
Luis Peña Gd cover but not as GD as Motorhead version
Sepultura was the first metal concert I went to in '94 in San Francisco. Awesome show. Saw Kirk Hammett sitting in the audience. I'd look over occasionally and see him bobbing his head to the music.
Max Cavalera is the quintessential thrash metal vocalist! His accent just adds to the greatness!
