@@TokyoLensExploreFunnily enough i learned things about myself i never realized. funny how it feels like my eyes have been opened to aspects of myself i never noticed before, but were always there. I also learned some great Japanese this year. Every time i add new words or phrases im so happy. 🌸 Heather 🌸
My fav bit was hearing about your childhood going to airfield shows. I take my children and enjoy them. hopefully they will have happy childhood memories like you
i worked in the tokyo big sight for 6 months, (pavillion 6). It was really nice to remember that place. I hope i can attend an E prix some day, thanks for the video
As I said during the live stream, My favorite part of race day, be it a regional SCCA AutoCross to an INDYCAR event, is the energy and atmosphere around the site in the morning before the cars start making there way on to the track. It's just electric to me. Glad you had a good time and thanks for taking us along.
A friend of mine shared your video with me because I'm a big motorsports fan. I've only seen a few Formula E races on tv before, but watching this has really sparked my interest in it! Definitely going to follow Formula E closer now! This is also super motivating for me to get out and finally see a race in person one day! Love the atmosphere on and around the track, and I imagine it's vastly superior than just watching a race on TV. I doubt I'll ever have access to a race like what you got here, but just being around the track in person for any major event is on my bucket list now!
This was amazing. The excitement was palpable and kept the video entertaining, in addition to, of course, all the cool stuff! I didn't even realize this was an explore channel video first lol.
This looked so cool! I used to go to see lots of car and super bike races with my parents when I was young. The only formula racing I saw was formula 4, a pop star I was madly in love with was in one of the races so it was super exciting, and I got to sit in one of the cars for a photo. You really captured the atmosphere and excitement here 💜
Haven't ever attended a race live, but the excitement is real and tangible. Some of those track turns were insane. Thanks for the BTS and have a great week. 💜✌️🐦
Love your enthusiasm while making your videos.Your general excitement brings joy to me knowing you are exploring something new and something you really love. Also the dedication to make live stream and other videos while making this one is insane. There is a new anime called Overtake about an enthusiastic camera man new to racing ,learning everything about it and helping his new friends on the racing track and races. Which reminded me a lot when i saw your video.
Very cool video! I have not even heard of Formula E before this; now I feel like I know so much! My partner is really into F1 racing so maybe I can get him into Formula E with this BTS video. 😊
Indy Cars sound like tie-fighters because they were one of the sounds sampled to make the tie-fighter sound. I think they also used some sounds of piano wire being stropped to layer over it.
15:15 Race Director is the head of the Formula-e's sporting staff. For example if there is an accident, he's the one who issues a red flag or safety car

I am going to call this a Tokyo Tuesday video. I miss those. I remember going to the races with my uncle and cousins growing up, good times
As a long-time F1 fan I really enjoyed this. Well done Norm, quite a privilege to get behind the scenes. That looked great fun. Thanks for sharing :)
The way those cars sound is otherworldly. I appreciate this look into the culture! I enjoyed seeing how invested that crowd was!
The amount of information I just learned was 🤯All the battery power talk was super interesting

Thanks for taking us with you! I love your livestreams and videos!
I very much enjoyed this video. Your enthusiasm and the effort you put into showing us as much as you can is much appreciated. Woof!
So Cool! I love F1 and the electric cars of Formula-e are a very exciting evolution!!!! Great coverage for just your first time in this "arena".
Bravo Norm! I had similar access at Indy several times but Formula E seems way more exciting.
I would be so grateful to be in the same place as a normal guest where you got VIP access!!
Really enjoyed the video. You showed us things that the majority of us will never see. We definitely sensed your excitement!

It’s such a cool vibe and thanks for sharing the access you got with us! Appreciate the cool perspectives on the Formula E races
It was great seeing the streams live and nice being in the chat for the release of this edited video!

A great day for a race and great video of how it is feel to watch a race and what is happening around it.
That was super entertaining! Thank you, Norm!
Woah hold up since when were you into drifting? How did I not know this before? You've got to make a video back at Ebisu Circuit!
One of his first videos talks about his car accident with the Nissan and also has a very cool video in a drift car, totally recommend you watch them
Awesome video as always Norm. Let’s go team Nissan Nismo. Nismo now Nismo forever.
Hope you had fun Norm. I just finished watching the Solar Eclipse in Toronto.
That guy was like your helpful Nīsan at Nissan 😎
Really cool watching the electric racecars in action
The preface to the video looks sick!
Indy Cars sound like tie-fighters because they were one of the sounds sampled to make the tie-fighter sound. I think they also used some sounds of piano wire being stropped to layer over it.
Norm-sama, another amazing video!!!
🙇♂
The electric motor on these Formula e cars is something I've never heard before...really unique sound.
Always enjoy seeing what your getting up to in Japan 🌸
Love the videos, thank you for making them

I'm so glad I subscribed to this channel too, because this was one of the coolest videos I've seen in a long time! Very....very jealous :D
Good Morning from California Norm! I hope to see you one day possibly rebuild your S14 drift car that you had or even a new build would be cool.
love your vids keep up the awesome work.
Sounds as sweaty as dogfight in the skies, where the main tactic is wear down the opponent and looking for openings of attack to come out on top.
Man, this bts is good and cool
There's a part 3 to the epic-ness?!
Nice!
Had no idea that there are bumps on the track. Quite scary IMO. The drivers backs must hurt at some point after the race!?
great video, cool, I Road in a Tesla, awesome video 😊🎉🎉
e-Racing will be the future!
I thought the Forumal E Tokyo GP ended already? I thought it was last week.
Tesla would absolutely kill it if they chose to participate. Their drive train and efficiency is years ahead the competition.
Not in comparison to thee cars
Isnt that Big Site also where they sell Doujinshis or is that somewhere else?
32:09 how the heck are you holding the camera so steady?
wowwwwwwwwwwwwwww
The. whir of the cars lacks the pizzaz of that traditional roar. Sound kinda like slot car racing.
Why is this live when it’s night time now?
Time zones exists?
@@NaeniaNightingale I bet you think you are smart. Tell me… how many time zones are there in Tokyo?
