  • Custom RV Steps. I convert our Torklift Revolution RV steps from 3 to 4 steps with Torklift International's Add a Step. Recently I installed the Torklift Smartstep Glowstep Revolution 3 step assembly on our 5th wheel. In this video I add a 4th step to the step assembly using Torklift Internationals Add-a-Step kit. Torklift Revolution Steps can easily be added onto using their add a step.

    They look great. I agree that the 4th step makes it look more comfortable to step up and the carpet steps look good as well.

      We are really loving them. These steps should be standard on all RVs. Thanks so much for watching and commenting my brother!!

    I like the look of the steps but agree it helps get out the dirt and it’s easier on Jazz getting in and out. Angie did a good job 😊

    Quick and easy, at least you made it look that way. I have to replace Desmond's step if the weather ever stops LOL

    You make it look so easy. I could tell, that lest step into the RV looked like a doozy before you added that extra step. Now you need the new MorYde Safe-T-Rail give you a longer hand rail.

    • @ouRVisionnomadicliving
      @ouRVisionnomadicliving  Год назад +1

      Thanks David. Torklift also has a different handrail that can tie into the steps. When we get back to Utah I am going to reach out to them to see if they will send me one. Thanks so much for watching my friend. 🍻 Sean

    I bought the 4 step system from the start because our Montana sets high anyway. What a difference it has made for us. I still need to do some final adjustments so the steps extend and retract easier for the wife. 😂

    How often do you change the springs? Just when you find a broken one or are they on a set schedule?

    • @ouRVisionnomadicliving
      @ouRVisionnomadicliving  Год назад

      Hi Scott, This is the first time I changed the springs on our rig. I wouldn't say I have any set schedule, although I was planning on replacing them when we got back to Utah.

    I just bought one and it is 1/2 inch too wide (20.5" vs 20" like the others). Was your like this?

    • @ouRVisionnomadicliving
      @ouRVisionnomadicliving  10 месяцев назад

      Hi John, sorry to hear your having an issue. Torklift makes several different widths to accommodate different doorways. We installed the A8003 (27.5" width assembly, our steps are 22 1/2" wide) on our rig. The part number of the add a step on for our set up is/was A8001. It sounds like you received the wrong add a step for the step assembly you have. I would suggest you go to www.torklift.com and to double check the part number you need for the stairs you have. If you got the right part number, it could be that step you received was not packaged correctly. I do not work for Torklift, but if they did send you the wrong part I would think they will get you the right one. Thanks for watching and commenting. Sean
