I mix 1 tablespoon of plain (all purpose flour), vegetable oil and Trex (vegetable shortening) together to form a paste. Using a pastry brush, spread the paste all over the inside of the crown tin and then pour in your cake mixture. It works every time. Any left over cake release paste can be stored in the fridge for up to three months! 🤓
Love this idea! Thanks for sharing. :)
I hate it when my cake doesn't release in one piece! I've tried the pan sprays with no luck, so I usually coat with shortening and then flour. I'm going to try your pan cake release paste of flour, oil and shortening. Wish me luck, thanks.
Latte Brown Give it a try! Sometimes the tin comes off straight the way, but if it doesn’t, just leave it on top until it is a little cooler. I always use this method now. 👍🏼🤓
Awesome tip, thank you!
I wait, patiently, for this pan. It's so gorgeous! And the resulting cake, WOW!
I always bake from scratch, but if I needed to take a cake to an event and time wasn't on my side, using a good quality box mix and giving it the personal touch is a nice option to have up your sleeve...
Uau são formas maravilhosas
AWESOME BUNDT CAKE
Thank you.
Thank you! This is very helpful!
I liked all of bunt cake bowls ehat would the price for this bowl could you tell me pls
Why do you use a baking spray if the Nordic Ware pans are supposed to be quick and easy release pans?
Nordic Ware is a decorative pan, not a teflon pan so ingredients will stick.
Grazie ma nn so L inglese🎉
Hi there, after when I greased with spraying the oil, the cake was way too oily, is there others way to grease so that the cake will not be too oily, thanks.
I always brush melted butter to coat the pan, then I dust it with flour so it doesn't stick.
Dan Wu Make sure you use the "baking" spray that has flour, not the regular spray.
Dusting it works much better and you don’t need to buy any fancy sprays to do it.
A tip for dusting the pan when making chocolate cake is to use cocoa powder instead of flour so that you don’t have any white patches on your brown cake.
Hi all, thanks for red your help and have a good day
Because your doming trick didn't work you cut it off?
Freshen up your resume you're fired.
What flavor cake is that? Topping looks like salted caramel
Is there a difference between a regular cake and Bundt cake recipe? If there is, what makes the difference?
Bundt cakes are usually denser than other cakes 😊
@@scarletdebrix7348 what’s the difference in the recipe? Like more flour or something? I’m new to baking so very curious 🧐
@@xanderminjares8511 normally there’s more eggs butter and milk which makes it richer and perfect to handle the Bundt pan’s shape. Other cakes are usually too light and delicate to be baked in a Bundt pan. Hope this helps 🙂
I’m thinking my bundt cakes are burnt or that I’ve put too much cake release on the bottom when they come out so brown - but I’ve been watching these videos on RUclips & all I see are really brown not golden bundt cakes. So I guess the cake is over baked?
Yes. I learned to not over burn, I need to use a simple style Bundt pan. Any pan with too much intricate design means too much fat to apply and the outer layer gets too dark and almost burnt. But usually tastes fine a day later
I cake sticks to the pan
You cut off the best part of the cake.
I’m glad she used a mix. Good ingredients deserve better technique.
Who on earth would create such a large cut surface on a still hot cake? It just looses moisture and winds up the texture of old socks. If you really must have a flat base trim cake after cooling.
If using a spray coat pan before preparing batter and leave upside down to drain. The only thing worse than dry cake is a greasy dry cake.
She's not cutting the cake while it's still hot, she let it cool to room temp first. Everyone who has any experience in baking knows you don't cut a hot cake, let it cool first then cut if the top has domed. In the case of a bundt you don't want the domed top because the cake won't sit flat when you turn it out.
Translate please!
Turn on the subtitles, don't be so lazy.
This method didn't work for me at all. My first Bundt cake fell apart completely. I avoided using the pan for 10 years because I knew there was some weird, convoluted trick to using it. Apparently this video isn't the solution.
Cut the music.
This is the worst cooking video I have seen so far " do this and buy our product, do that and also buy our product, just a commercial in disguise, pure click bate.
nemo4evr Thankyou for pointing out. Absolutely right. This is a commercial for selling products.
Maybe because it's a video by Williams Sonoma. Smh...🙄
Ok Karen
@@DominicNJ73 isn’t calling someone a “Karen” a racist term? It is not used in our multi racial family, like other words that disparage someone. I just subscribed to this channel because I love Bundt cakes and am learning tips. Not for name calling in any form. 🇺🇸
This is a commercial. Skip it.
So many damn Karens in the comments.. I really found this video useful. I researched this after buying the Nordic Ware pans pictured here. No one's being tricked into buying anything Karen, they have eyes and can see who posted the video. Now go take deep breaths, or better yet, bake a cake! 🍰
Are you SERIOUS?. . . GET OUR "PRE-MADE BUNDT CAKE MIX". . . FOR THE BEST BUNDT CAKE? ..... LOL....LOL....LOL ..LOL... I would feel so ashamed of showing my face on this video... Lame.
AGREE.
shameless self-advertising lol.
Her prevention of a dome trick didn't work, and most importantly, she cut off the BEST part of a bundt cake. Clearly, she bakes them, but has NEVER eaten one. You should remove this video.
