You didn't even mention the fact that the 8bitdo Ultimate has Hall Effect joysticks, which should be the primary selling point.
And that’s the best part of that controller to.
Am I the only one that doesn't know what's hall effect joysticks
They basically don't get drift. The components in the stick don't touch so they don't wear down over time.
Gulikit 2 pro is also amazing
Was gonna say, all these people who think they know something about the controller always forget this detail and it's maddening.
this is the definition of a nintendo accent
In case anyone is wondering, here are the prices I found on Amazon.
Power a fusion Pro: $100
8Bitdo Ultimate Controller: $70
PDP controller: $64.91
Nintendo Pro Controller: $70
Satisfy joy con grip: 30$
Aud?
@@camelconnoisseur3496 convert the prices to AUD. those are USD prices (i checked)
@@alzinooooo oh ok
You are awesome 👍✅
from my last experience with power a, not worth it and im definitely not spending 100 bucks on one, id rather just get an actual pro controller
kingkong2 pro controller (from gulikit) is by far the best third party controller, its got turbo and macro built in, which means no more doing repetitive tasks for you just let the controller grind it out for you, hall effect joysticks so you never need to worry about stick drift which means you have one less part to worry about breaking, it supports wakeup which is super important to have and not all 3rd party controllers have it, it supports amiibo which is extremely rare for 3rd party controllers, and it can be used with pc and mobile with a roughly 40 hour battery life
the only drawbacks it has is no back paddles, which isnt a huge problem but theyre nice to have for some games, and it only comes in black or white which is unfortunate but also not a huge deal breaker because i wouldve picked black even if it came in every color imaginable
plus gulikit sells a bunch of other switch accessories that might be worth looking into as well
Same here
I have one in White and I have to agree its the best 3rd Party Controller in my opinion
The 8bitdo one has the same sticks I believe. I think they even get them from gulikit, also it does have a macro function as well. I think turbo too but I am not sure
@@seemi8053 it probably has turbo, not macro. Macro is where you can record a series of button presses and have the controller play them back
@@wandew7057 the 8bitdo has both. You can set the macros up in the software and make the star button into a turbo button as well (or it is just one of the four buttons inbetween the thumb sticks by default, idk yet)
Love the PDP Gaming Little Wireless Controller.
That retro-style controller is so cute.
KINGKONG PRO 2 DESERVES TO BE ON THERE
The 8BitDo hall effect joysticks are made by GULIkit
And GULIkit make their own controllers (with hall effect triggers too!) which are way better and can be used on PC with Xinput via bluetooth which the 8BitDo can't do
That pdp controller is absolutely underrated! May not be the best for large hands but I brought this on a trip back home to Chicago and exclusively plaid using this and the switch in table top mode the entire time I was there.
The lightup one? That controller is really good yea
Amiipad is my favourite because it comes with almost all amiibos integrated within it
My favorite ones are the ones that came with it because im broke a.f.
Same
I actually took to tearing down my pro controller, and it's surprisingly easy to take apart, but it's also practical.
The way they designed it, was so all you had to do to get to the battery was just to take off the grips, and take off the backplate, and then the battery pops out. But it doesn't actually open the controller, that you can do by removing 6 more screws and separating the front board and back board.
And something that's very intuitive is that the two screws for the grips, and the four screws for the backplate are all in their own groups, being very distinct from the rest of the screws. All the rest of the screws are the exact same size and color, Mensing you don't have to remember sizes, because it's all the same
I own that lil wireless controller, it's actually very nice, feels nice, the buttons are big and feel good, and it's comfortable to hold.
GuliKit Kingkong 2 Pro Controller is by far my favorite. Comes with Hall Effect Sensing Joysticks.
My favorite controllers for Switch are the Rematch Controller (PDP) and the Pro Controller (Nintendo). And if I need to use headphones I use a wired Enhanced Controller (PowerA)
What about the gulikit Kingkong 2 pro controller? Honestly the best pro controller and can be used on PC as well
The plactic that turns your joycons to a controller that comes in the box for free is all i need 🗿
I use the 8bitdo sn30 pro. The rumble on that is crazy
I got the 8bitdo pro 2 on Amazon but it has not come yet but I’m excited to use it
I have the 8tbitdo pro+ and its amazing for retro games
I have that and the pro 2. They're my favorite Nintendo Switch controllers by far.
Pro 2 is the successor to the SN30 and it’s great
I use the 8bitdo pro and pro 2 as well ha.
I've been loving the GuliKit, it's a game changer.
Way to miss the real selling point of the 8bitDo Ultimate. The Hall Effect Joysticks.
I just returned my second powerA fusion. It's notorious for horrible dead zones. I'm getting the king Kong 2 pro.
The little wireless reminds me of the wii classic controller (not pro because well)
Bro i haven’t charged my Nintendo pro controller in a good 2 months and it’s chill
8BitDo Pro 2 is my favorite controller
Clean yo controllers dawg
I had 8Bitdo Japanese SNES style controller, they were more comfortable for adult gamer like us.
the satisfye grip is awesome honestly. I don't even use the Nintendo pro controller anymore.
I personally own the nyko clip grip power, it’s generally the same as the satisfy joycon grip but with a few extra features, it comes with a phone mount so you can also use it for playing mobile games, it has a game card and microsd card slot so you can carry all of your games and sd cards in the grip, and it’s a charging grip and it’s ironically cheaper than the official Nintendo charging grip
I never would use any joycon controller grip personally because I feel like even though it's cheaper in the short term, it escalates your chance of joycon drift. I picked up some fairly reasonably priced pro-like controllers that I personally like the feel of better than the official pro one and I love that I can just hammer on it and if it ever does get drift, it literally costs less than 1/3 the price of a new set of joycons! I only use my joycons if the game explicitly needs it or if they offer an advantage to gameplay over the Pro controller
My favorite is the Zen pro
You get the Joy-Con grip for free with your Switch, but if you want a controller, get the 8BitDo Ultimate because it doesn't have stick drift.
Gulikit kingkong pro 2 is by far the best 1
You forgot the gulikit king Kong 2 it's really good
8bitdo ultimate AWESOME
I use the Gulikit KingKong 2 pro
What game were u playing with the Power A Fusion controller?
Pokémon scarlet
Man that 8bitdo controller is probably the best controller I’ve ever had, and has Hall effect joy sticks to prevent stick drift
Imo the 8bit do ultimate is my favorite. It has the mapable buttons snd charging dock at the same price as the official one so I don't see any reason to get the official. The 8bit do is even good if you play just on pc
I agree. It’s a great multipurpose controller. The only downside to it is battery life but the charging dock kind of solves that
For me, 8bitdo ultimate controller cause I have one, and I love it
2nd one and last one
The 8bitdo snes pro controller will always be the best
Not true, ultimate 8bitdo or King Kong 2 is better
@@Just-J2 those are cool. But the snes controller will always be the best. The 8bitdo snes controller is second.
@@Ese1Pac In terms of what? I assume you're talking about the 8bitdo Snes controller for the switch, and for the switch, 8bit Ultimate, KingKong 2, Nintendo Pro controller are all much better options.
I have that PDP controller for my Switch and it is a great controller. I have 8bitdo's SN30 Pro, SF30 Pro and NES30 Pro controllers that I also use for my Switch.
I have a Power A Nano controller which ran $50 when I bought it and is USB c rechargeable has 2 mappable buttons on the back and is great for on the go, both my kids and I love it
I got a pdp afterglow, the clear one, that I LOVE but the actual best 2 are the 8bitdo Ultimate and the KingKong2. They’re MILES better than the Nintendo one. The PowerA ones are just fine if there’s one that you like the design of- they’re officially licensed as well so no funny business with them. But for performance I’d recommend the KingKong2 or 8bitdo Ultimate (the $70 one, not the $30 one. The $30 one is fine on a budget and better than anything else you’ll get for that price but if you can swing it I’d really recommend the $70 ultimate.)
King Kong Pro 2
I own the 8bitdo Ultimate. Fantastic controller.
I love the pro controller! One of the greatest controllers made buy Nintendo!🎮🕹️🎮
I love it too, only flaws are the digital only triggers and the possibility of stick drift which unfortunately my left stick seems to be on the verge of getting.
I have the PDP Little controller, great for kids & solid controller by itself too
I had the fusion since it came out and there is no drift the buttons feel amazing and the it's so comfortable to hold
I have the second one u mentioned
Both the 8bitdo Pro 2 and Ultimate are sitting at 50 bucks for price. Sure it's a lot of cash for a damn controller but not only are you saving 20 over an official pro controller, you're also getting a controller you can use on so much more than an underpowered slab from 2017.
My favorite controller is the Zen PRO controller from GuliKit
Only downside for me with the 8bitdo is the charging dock. What if I want to play while it's charging?
I like the Nano pro controller, they are pretty comfortable
Look at those pumpkin hands
The game cube one
Pro controller and sn30 pro are the only 2 controllers worth getting imo
Please tell me I’m not the only one who’s OCD gets triggered by the Satisfye grip’s asymmetry.
The wireless GameCube controller: what am I chopped liver?
My powerA controller got nasty drift on the left joysticks 2 months after purchasing it
GuliKit Kingkong pro 2. Amazing performance for the price. Has Hall effect sticks and triggers aswell as mechanical buttons with amiibo support and more
Number three kind of looks like a super Nintendo controller
My fav “pro controller” is the powerA enhanced wireless controller,it feels almost identical to a pro controller but is $50 instead of $80
So yeah my favorite joy-cons is on any switch that I can possibly own I want to have one before I die I'm stuck in a hospital bed this would change my life I keep hinting to my people that I want one or some type of a retro gaming Android handheld named something like Iyin Oden Android handheld that's really the one I want. Honestly that should be what everyone should want it can play switch games Android games and 64 GameCube Wii PlayStation 1 2 3 and and it can stream four and five to your handheld from your console and it plays all the 8-Bit systems too this is honestly the handheld everyone should want or the Retro pocket 3 plus or the AmbeNick 505
Missing the game cube controllers
My favorite is gulikit kk3 max controller
The office joy con grip
For the satisfye there's already one that comes with the nintendo switch and OLED
No way really 🤯
@@Beptwo bruh I'm just saying damn
This guy sounds like the know it all kid from the polar express
The last one is free*
* it’s included with your switch (not lite)
Switch Pro Controller is nice but a little small.
Every sonic fan knows you played sonic frontiers with the second controller hehe
Bros a bfdi character 💀
Fusion user here: just buy normal pro controller it doesn’t have nfc, it’s too pricey anyways
The fusion pro is most expensive option here and has stick drifting joysticks (they drift more than the pro controller) and for cheaper there’s Hall effect anti stick drift controllers like the 8bitdo ultimate Bluetooth
The zen pro in the corner:
Me loving the PDP Afterglow controller
I have an off brand pro controller and it has a month of battery life
My favorite is the Hori Slime Controller, it feels so comfortable. (i know, i'm weird)
Love that 4K intro
I use the joycons that where inside the box from switch
I don’t love but not necessarily hate the original pro controller but in my opinion staring at them you realize it looks like there’s dust and it’s greasy and there are by far better options for 3rd party controllers on the market shout out to the 8bitdo ultimate who also house some other very nice controllers and offer more affordable options if price is what not selling it for you such as the ultimate C around more than half the original price to the ultimate C wired for less for more than half the original price down to a shocking 12 dollars.
Joy con number 1. no 2 words : Controler drift
I love the hori split pad compct
IMO I believe that the 8bitdo pro 2 is a better choice simply because it has more compatibility
I have all of these controllers except the satisfy grip for the joy cons…didn’t know they made that for the joy cons. I own the grip for the OLED switch tho!
Nah dawg my old OG pro controllers right joy stick started becoming sentient and stopped working at one point
i got the powera fusion pro controller but it doesnt have rumble so i ordered the mobapad huben m9 controller!
my singing monsters💀💀💀
For me it’s the Nano!😂😂😂
I use the DS4 controller lol, with the 8bitdo, simple and efficient 👌
any pro controller has swappable faceplates if you have a screwdriver and a dream
The third kind of looks like the Wii's classic controler?
The fact that you didn’t include the GuliKit KingKong 2 is a crime
Even if you have a good comfort grip for them, it’s best that you get some kind of pro controller to give Joy-Cons a break. I have done this and not a single one of my joy cons have *ever* drifted.
That’s what I plan on when I get an OLED soon-get a pro controller or 8bitdo to use most of the time and only use the joy cons a little to exercise their battery
If you’ve used your switch consistently for the past 6 years you’ve almost certainly had drift unless you never use the joycons. It’s just an inevitability
@@IceBlueLugia We’ve had our Switch for three years, and we’re just as surprised as you. We’ve had the buttons break, the LED stop working, connectivity issues, basically everything *but* Joy-Con drift.
Everyone talks about the kingkong pro 2 but not the T4 Khalid
I personally use a 8bitdo × tectoy megradrive 6 button controlle
King Kong pro 2
No mention of the nano?
Switch elite controller
