Great review guys, but just an FYI, I bought the 2022 AWD and it does have a spare tire right under that tray you showed. I believe ALL the models have a spare. 😉
@@senoucisenouci5605 Hi! Usually between 30 and 33. But I do keep it in smart mode until I pop it into sport on the freeway. That might make a difference, idk.
Hi guys nice review. Here in Australia the top of the line model is known as a Highlander whereas yours is the Limited. We have a few different things which you don't IE: Heated & cooled front seats, heated rear seats , both driver & passenger seats are electric , heated steering wheel , heads up display & an option between a sun roof or an all black roof & mirrors as a contrast...the wife has just ordered one & we traded her I40 Premium which she also loved...Keep up the good work
I recommend looking into the Kia Seltos SX-T!! I have one and I LOVE it. It’s on the same platform as this SUV but offers more space and other differences.
Nice review. I test drove a 2022 Limited for about 45 minutes and loved it. I'm hoping to sell my 2019 Kona Limited to CarMax and lease the 2022 Limited. So far, dealer discounts and Hyundai incentives are non-existent.
Great review of a practical but pretty well equipped compact SUV. While admiring this Kona I did manage to spy a certain red two-seater in the distance that looked strangely familiar…😂! Great review, guys - Thanks! 😎
Peugeots have horrendous reliability/build quality and wouldn't survive the tough competition in the North American market; there's a reason they quit that market decades ago.
@@kristians2704 Yes; newer Peugeots are still crappy in terms of reliability, as every major reliability survey shows and, more to the point, as my cousin who bought a Peugeot 208 in 2020 that spent more time in the service bay than it did parked at his home knows all too well.
I have 2022 Sel Hyundai Kona... Please tell me there is a trunk button ... I cant seem to find inside to pop the truck... Im having to get out of my car all the time for delivery or pickup..
I really like my Kona, but for what it's worth I get nowhere near the 29 combined MPG. I have a 2022 Limited AWD, and admittedly I do almost exclusively city driving in it, but I'm getting somewhere around 24 MPG and I never go into sport mode. Still love the car, but literally and figuratively your mileage may vary.
Disappointing how the limited trim doesnt have the features of sonata limited trim. No smart park, no ventilated seats, no 360 cam , no blind spot cameras, no heated steering wheel, no memory seating, no highway drive assist
I don't really get how Hyundai says that the Kona replaces the Elantra GT in the north american market, with the move to CUVs. The Kona is smaller than the GT, with less rear seating and trunk space and less technology. All it has is AWD. Not that the Kona is bad, but it is a bit disappointing. I would have liked to see the Elantra GT line continue like it has in other parts of the world. I guess sales weren't good enough.
The KONA N-Line is the only good looking trim level, since it replaces the tacky, cheap-looking black plastic with painted trim, & has a better front/rear look & design. The regular KONA trims have a clown face in the rear & no sporty exhaust tips.
I really like the refreshed front design. Reminds me of the Ford Escape. The interior though is really bad. Especially when you compare it to their cheaper Elantra which looks a lot more premium. This one feels like a cheap toy.
PLEASE TRY TO DO BETTER DO NOT START A REVIEW TALKING ABOUT THE TIRES I THINK I NOT WAY TO DO A REVIEW YOU NEED TO START WITH THE FRONT AND AFTER WITH THE ENGINE NOT THE INTERIOR

My 2019 Kona Limited also has a mini-spare tire. So much better than when my 2016 Elantra just had a tire inflator and fix-a-flat can!
My 2019 Limited AWD only came with the tire inflator and fix a flat. Boo.
How is the mpg??

Hi Car Confections! Great review--- Please review the Kona N-Line with Tech package! Thanks!

Surprised there was no mention of the self drive full stop and go cruise feature. Huge part of wanting to own this suv
This is so cute! I'm looking for my first SUV , I need to test drive this one. Thanks for sharing

just finished driving the base model as a loaner and it was surprisingly good. much better than I anticipated

I too have a 2019 Kona Limited but mine is leased so I'll just turn it in and lease a 2022 Limited again, but probably a different color this time.
What's amazing is the Driver has an over the door hand handle unlike the Elantra... Nice review.
Thanks 😊
I love my 2021 Kona I’m glad I grabbed it when I did. Not to fond of the new look. Overall I love the car.
Very nice review! The new Kona really looks sharp. Have a great Sunday and Memorial Day!
It looks pretty cool! And Happy Memorial Day!
@YourTypical Asian I do kinda like the 2018-2021 better for exterior but the 2022 has the best interior.
@YourTypical Asian yea
@YourTypical Asian yup, even though it's awesome.
Happy Memorial Day!
Great review really. All important areas perfectly covered. Thanks a ton.
Glad you enjoyed!

Thanks! It was a bit distracting, wasn't it hahaha
Looks Much better now
I wish my Palisade Calligraphy had those fonts for the sport mode. The white and red pop more than red everywhere!
Please review the new Hyundai Venue ! It's like a mini Kona
It looks like the car was half finished when you see where the white paint ends in the front!
Yeah, but the N-line will have the entire car the same color.
I wish you got the Peugeot 2008 in the US. That would really give everyone a run for its money.
Maybe, but we really need more hatchbacks, sedans and wagons...not crossovers.

AWD is a killer on mpg
Why the rear turn signals on the bottom , makes them difficult to see
hello very nice review i love them im from canada and it shows we can get heated stearing wheel and vent front seats on limited trim
Thanks!
Great review!😸
nice very stylish! great review
Thanks!
Great video again guys
Thanks, George!
Its nice but , with out air conditioner at the back seat that's very important in gulf countries
I love your videos bro I share your videos 🔥🔥🔥
Thanks 😊

Unless I overlooked anyone else's comment, the Kona's 2.0 engine produces 147 HP, not 137 as you mentioned in the video.
That is correct. Thanks for pointing that out and we regret the error
Definitely liked the original front grille better!!!
The Kona N looks so much better with the black plastic wheel spats painted body color.
Very well done work.
Thanks! 😊
Np guys
Bearded smiley face scale for the win .... Great review gents
I like 2022 Hyundai Kona it’s very nice and great price

The Elantra (I30) fastback availble in Europe and elsehwere is where its all. Unique looks without really sacrificing much cargo room.

Looks like a Hyundai Escape from the front.
Exactly
Hyundai lets do a full digital cluster on the budget Kona... also Hyundai, let not do a full digital cluster on the 55K GV70 2.5T
You guys are showing a phone number at 18:24 . Might want to blur that or something.
Thanks for the heads up but that was just a spam number haha
I’m concerned about CVTs, I feel like it will give out quickly and then you’d be stranded
I have a deposit on an in- transit '22 Kona SEL, but now not as enthused because of the IVT after reading many negative comments.
Love the Kona!!🔥🔥
Heyy and I hate this refresh
@@barbz_zayne hi and I do agree that the front looks weird but I still love it of course

@YourTypical Asian Crosstrek, Seltos, and CX-30 and HR-V are better than this ones styling.
Now it looks like a Stingray. Better than previous version though
I prefer the look of the 2020.
