Your review made it seem like there were four modes that we're not customizable, cuz you never mentioned it.
Everything I've mentioned, (which is everything you didn't) is what make the N cars so desirable. The vehicles customization which you completely skipped over.
Not sure if you do it on purpose, because I believe you know that the car has all those adjustable features in the N infotainment screen. Maybe you just assume all the viewers already know N cars possess all the customizable factors I mentioned.
There's even more you skipped over like how it has a bunch of preprogrammed track maps, lap monitoring info and a lap timer. And even more but u get the point.
Fortunately, there are many channels that have gone over everything I've mentioned and More in great detail, but I like your channel, and selection of cars, yet this review didn't even scratch the surface of what makes this car an N car
Thanks for that great info.
Agree that Hyundai/ Kia has it going on…I have a 2020 Kona Ultimate turbo, 2022 Veloster N, a 2021 Kia stinger Gt1 and a 2020 Palisade Limited. Love them all.
My problem with all these N cars from Hyundai they are put in a price range that for pound for pound gets beat out by a Chevy Camaro, in handling, price, horsepower, the only thing that Hyundai wins at is thier amazing power train Warranty of 10yr -100,000 miles.
Kona N is a badass subcompact SUV
Dang.....that is a sweet looking vehicle
I am so glad that you are digging it!
@@RaitisRides Yeah, Hyundai just keeps getting better and better and they really seem to be listening to their customers when building these performance models. And can we just talk about that exhaust note!! I mean, dang! Both of them sound amazing!!
I love it my boy Joe keep up the work and I love the video lot 💯 💯💯💯💯💯
You really are the best Dominic!
I love the way this looks and sounds
Everything looks great my only zonk no sunroof. I know the N line because it has a sunroof but this model looks a bit more sportier and you would think they would have put a sunroof on it as well.
Serious they've really stepped it up I'm loving how there new cars look nice unique style
Totally agree!
I like it, it´s very good for under 40k.
The video I was waiting for!
The performance on paper isn’t bad. 3300+ curb weight and 270+ hp and 280+ torque. Not bad at all
Nice review I think this is a nice little CUV Hyundai has done a great job, every time I see a Kona on the street I check it out but the N is even cooler!
now that's a 🔥HoT🔥 Hatch! 👍😊
Fire red hot!
The black one is all black...no red along the bottom. Nice car and review !
It would be sick if Hyundai put a slick shifting 6 speed manual transmission in it and it would be a car lovers heaven
Tat would have been cool.
@@RaitisRides that*
One thing i didnt hear joe mention was the mpg when talking about the engine.
Kona N price just released. They all come fully loaded.
$35,425
$400 more than the Veloster N with the DCT.
That color is killer
You are so very right!
Happy New Year Joe &Lori🎇🎉🍾👍❤️😁
My dream SUV
I’m glad I can bring it to you!
Excellent Review Joe 👍😁
It's a cool small vehicle. Nice amount of power and looks fun to drive excluding the bumpy roads with the road noise. I'm guessing with some extra options like Nav, heated seats. I don't remember hearing if AWD was available. I'm thinking you'll be closing in on $40,000 with those options. I'm surprised considering your other reviews. No Zonks for the prop rod and lower rear window wiper location. A little small for me personally, but a nice vehicle for big city use, a small family or a fun little track vehicle. As always. Another solid review.
I always take price into consideration.
I see the Elantra N in the background 👀
They had both there. It was an amazing event.
Wow, very unique styling... I guess the Veloster N is a hot hatch... is this Kona N a segment first? This sub compact is going to be a hot seller for sure.
I love everything about this car but the rear end. It looks like a car is stacked on top of another. I can’t unsee it.
I can totally understand where you are coming from.
@@RaitisRides Update... I ended purchasing a 2022 sonic blue kona N. LOL I disliked the rear end so much i bought the damn thing hahaha.
Good job , you gave it a good review 👍🏼
Ugh… I’d order one right now if it had AWD. Same with the Kia K5 N and Sonata N. I wonder why the Kia and Hyundai lineups have so few N vehicles with AWD? I ordered a Stinger but I’m regretting it because of the price.
They had to keep the price in check!
The "N" on the side skirt is "DEBOSSED" not "embossed" Embossing is when you raise letters. Deboss is indenting the letters.
Thanks for that info Jason! I appreciate it so much!
@@RaitisRides You're welcome. I hope my comment didn't come across as rude. You're videos are so good and informative. I was just trying to help out for future videos.
If it was a 6 speed I would of def consider buying one
I wish people would stop calling this thing an suv. It has the same interior room as my wife’s old accent. Less room than my mazda3 hatchback. And no way you can get a full grown adult in back with a baby seat beside them.
It's like a toy
Great review, Joe! If it had AWD it would be really special. Maybe a sub 5 second 0-60 crossover. Fun stuff!
It would have just added weight. Throw on Michelin PS4s and you'll get sub 5.
@Jack Daniels for launching, yes.
Plus would be more fun on the loose stuff
With the 1ft roll out it's 4.8s, so 5.1 without it.
That thing sounds great! Seems fun to drive too!
Front facia looks 👌 🔥
Collect my white one in the uk next wk 😁
That is so awesome congrats!
It’s a complete animal when you open it out 😂
I just drove the Electric at the LA Auto Show, that was really nice. This looks fun to drive.
I was at the LA Auto Show. There was no price yet on this Kona N. It looks amazing in person especially the white color with red accents.
Late to the party viewing on this. As an owner of a Stinger GT and Fiat Abarth, I can see this vehicle as a potential for the future. Yes, AWD would’ve been nice. Winter tires may solve this problem where I live in the PNW.
Yessir. Not one but two videos in a row.
Hyundai really stepping their game. Toyota needs to take notes with their Camry “TRD”
This is so very true!
Available in Australia now stock available. MSRP approx 50k AUD
How was the sound system? All I have seen is one made by Krell. Hope the US gets the heads up display.
It actually sounds great. It is a Harmon Kardon system.
The rims are amazing 👏
I would love for him to say about a car, just once: "Right off the bat I think this thing looks like shiit"...lol.
LOL Get me a Yugo and it is a done deal.
@@RaitisRides Lmao...agreed.
Or an Aztec!
Hi Joe! Thanks for reviewing this amazing vehicle! Will the KONA N come with Hyundai's amazing Highway Driving Assist semi-autonomous driving feature for the freeways and traffic? Thanks!
No it does not.
@@RaitisRides arg! OK thanks for the heads up Joe--! Hopefully they add the ADAS features eventually since both the GTI/Golf R will come with VW's Travel Assist feature!
I *was* looking forward to the new Civic Si... but... this may do the trick for me.
