I have a 24 Kona SE AWD. It has the 2.0, which gets up to speed no problem. I also have a spare tire in my car as well, that came with it. Maybe in Canada it doesn’t, but mine does. Also, mine doesn’t have the stalk shifter. It has one on the floor. Now, if the car had the convenience package, sure it would have the shifter you mentioned. Hyundai/Kia also had THE BEST warranty you can get on a vehicle.

@@lbhb99 My post was so outdated! I took a lease back in May of a new KIA Niro EV for less than any of the hybrids or Kona (ugly) vehicles. I drove a bit further out for the KIA dealership, who actually gave me a good deal but the local KIA store gets * reviews on yelp all the time!
Why suggest 1.6 turbo? Off the blocks thats one more moving part for issues.
The 2.0L is super slow and it's hard to trust it's reliability with a 10+ year history of engine fires/failures. The turbo also gets an 8-speed auto instead of a CVT.
GO KIA SELTOS!❤Bob from Liberty Kia Ramsey NJ
Mechanically identical? Kona is 300 lbs heavier when comparing top trims and Kona has more ground clearance while Seltos has more HP?
This is why I question the “ identical” label
Where is that neighbourhood your driving through cause in the gta they would cost $10 million😊
It's a secret 🤫
He isn't a car reviewer. He is a paper work car reviewer.
I think that He didn't drive the cars. Why?
It is not similar.
Seltos used 2nd generation platform. Kona used 3rd generation platform.
My 2024 kona sel convenience has a spare
I have a Kona SEL and for a daily driver, it’s perfectly fine. The 2.0 and IVT work great together. I don’t put much stock into this review, unfortunately.
The made the Kona ugly and it was a nice looking car. I was thinking of getting one but not now.
It looks amazing imo
Trust me, get the CX-30 instead. you can thank me later.
It's small
the Kona is much prettier , the KIA's styling is more everyday.
The F you talking about, the Kona 2.0 drives just fine and has plenty of power, drove it a few times, and I would buy it over any Honda/Toyota. Your expertise is fake buddy.
I like mine
I stay away from any SUV with a 4 cyl engine.
For that price i buy a Nissan frontier pro 4X instead of that toy
they are not attractive at all......no sporty nothing dangerous nothing special abbout them the hyundai looks like a chrisler pt-cruiser from behind in white color
Hyunai Kona or Kia Seltos? hyunai Kona. But Toyota, Honda, Mazda or Subaru are better coice. And my coice would be Toyota of cource
Choice
@@jonbon4210 My mistake🤣
JUST SAY NO!!!
(Buy a Honda or a Toyota)😂
Ya it would have saved the review
If I had money for those I'd
