Awesome review, Ed! So, we're in the market again for a SUV, after purchasing a 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid Limited a few months back, which we LOVED, but it was unfortunately totaled 30 days after purchase! Nothing can replace my Santa Fe, but the Hubs and I agree that we wanted to go back to the drawing board and perhaps buy something cheaper, but from the same brand. We recently fell in love with the Kona N-line. However, coming from the Sante Fe, I wondered whether you feel that the vehicle has enough space in the back for adults and/or a car seat with a 3-year old (long-legged) toddler to be comfy? In addition, I'm getting conflicting info about the trims! Is there a N-line Ultimate available in the states? How did you get ventilated seats?
I'm in Canada... The top trim comes with ventilated seats here.
When you say Wireless Android Auto could come with an update, does that mean the screen already has the wireless hardware but not activated? Please share if you have some information this is very important to me before I buy
It's all rumors right now... But it's very possible that they will provide an update at some point. But i can't be 100% certain.
In the meantime, there's aftermarket solutions to providing wireless Android auto such as this one:

@@edsgarage001 Thank you sir, appreciated
Hi Ed, what's the difference between a 2022 N Line Ultimate and a 2022 Limited? Also in Canada here. Thanks
In Canada, we have the N-line or the N-line Ultimate.
But in the States, they only have the N-line or the basic limited.
The USA limited, is basically the same as our N-line ultimate, but without the N-line appearance stuff, like mag wheels, seats, stitching, etc.
The limited has a nice leather interior not offered on the n line
@@kridreklaw true!
All black interior is oppressive. Please give us a light color option.
Personally i prefer the lighter interiors as well, but in reality 9 out of 10 customers always go with the black interior.
Hyundai usually has a light colour option, but for some reason they don't in this one yet.
However I'll say this, it's not jet black... It's more of a charcoal grey, and it's not bad.
Now I’m mad I didn’t know waitnine months.
I've got one in my showroom 🤷
is the car in the video in cyber grey color?
Yes
@@edsgarage001 thank you for the reply, but do you know the msrp of this trim in BC?
@@mikeshurk I actually am in BC, at the Mertin Hyundai in Chilliwack.
MSRP is $37,198.
That includes the freight/delivery fee as well as the colour charge from Hyundai Canada. But does not include dealer fees/markup/taxes
@@edsgarage001 Ah I see. I would love to visit your dealership, but I live in burnaby and it's a little too far out for me. Thank you for the videos, it's really nice to have you show and describe these vehicles in detail.
@@mikeshurk no problem.
It's only about 45 minutes from Burnaby 😊
is this the Kona N Line 2022 + tech packages?
Yes,
In Canada, it's just called the "Ultimate". But it includes all the tech features. We also have the non-ultimate without all the tech
@@edsgarage001 thanks Ed!
why not pull a trailer ?!?!?!
In North America, the Hyundai Kona is not recommended for towing.
This model has a dry dual clutch transmission. You'd burn up the clutch in no time with all the hills we have around here.
The lower trims have an IVT transmission, also not good for towing when there's hills and mountains.
In some countries they have a tow rating. But not here.
this kona should have 20" wheels and 14.2 rotors, as i see is so different from the version which suppose to be. It seems to that as usual we will not have the version that should be on the market!!!!!
Don't worry! The Kona N is coming... Don't confuse the "n-line" with the N .... They're two different things
My n line I put 20s on they weight 15 pounds less per corner and wayy better tires and 2 inches wider..it's a whole different car..60 pounds of mass dropped by switching
This is the 2021, not the 2022.
I'm in Canada. This is the 22 here.
20 hp more but not faster than the 177 hp version, for what.?
Who said it wasn't faster?
In Germany, the some driving performance than the old 177 hp version.
@@markusklein9774 I haven't seen any 0-100kph numbers yet
@@edsgarage001 here we have 7,7sec. 0-100 and 210 km/h for the new 198hp version.
@@markusklein9774 that's nearly a second faster then last year's model. So that's decent.
