Digital is all well and good until your hard drive corrupts after the online store has gone down and the new store that replaced it didn't carry over your purchases.

    Guys phycical is better cause:
    1) You can resell them.
    2) Buy it from a store in like 10 minutes.
    3) It's multi-use meaning you can play it on other conseles, without buying a new game again.

Physical is a SCAM, because Sony and Microsoft are updating system software with a virus malware bug stopping some physical games from working intentionally forcing users to buy digital games since ps4, physical is a SCAM

One thing about physical games that's disappointing to me is that you can no longer play games on disc directly off the disc in real time (like you could in the Xbox 360/PS3/Wii era and even as late as the Wii U's lifespan). Installing the game from the disc to your console's storage means that you're not saving any storage space by going physical. I have a physical Switch game collection precisely because I don't have to install those games to my Switch's internal storage or microSD card. Going physical with Switch games makes sense to me.
Beyond that, I prefer the convenience of digital games. I bought a PS5 Digital Edition along with a 2 TB NVMe SSD, and I enjoy having all the games I want to play right there on my console.

      @Da-iken 10 месяцев назад +2

That´s not true. Most games are on the disc and playable. You may play wrong titles from developers that are bad in terms of physical discs and making it like that. All my games that i have are playable (PS4, PS5, Switch). Switch Games also mostly. What you explain is mainly the case with Online focused games.
And the good thing with these physical games is, that you can play them without accounts (also in many years), trade them or sell them. And you can buy new games for a much better price on top in many cases. Sure, many games get day1 updates, but they are not needed to play the game. Scarlet Nexus, Tales of Arise / Vesperia a.s.o., Persona 5 Royal, Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy 16, Uncharted, The Last of us... and many many others. Like i said. Most games are playable without internet connection fromn the disc. They isntall, but that´s normal.

Most of my collection consists of games made for sixth and seventh gen consoles, making almost none of these apply. Also, digital purchases are not something you own, rather a right to play something as long as a service is up. Inb4 "you don't own it, the company does". Yes, they do own the copy right, I don't argue that, but I own a copy of the product, which is what I wanted.

It’s way better than my Xbox one because I can’t play my favorite game because I dropped it on the floor and it got scratched it won’t work but if digital games even if you delete it, if you have an account and it’s connected to cloud you can get your progress back so that’s why digital games are better

Let's say for the sake of argument that the PS1 had been able to go online and download digital games. Do you think Sony would still be supporting the PS1 on the Playstation Network? If you lost your hard drive full of digital games, would you still be able to go online with your PS1 and re-download them? Or if you bought a used PS1 tomorrow, would you still be able to go online and download all the games that were available during its lifespan?
I know you're probably shaking your head and saying that this is a silly example, but what happens when Sony is up to PS9, is your PS4 or PS5 still going to be supported? What happens if you pull your old console out of the closet one day to show your kids some of your favorite old games and you find out that the hard drive is dead? After you slap in a new one, are you going to be able to go online and re-download all your old games?

    could you back it up a bit 1:26 2:52 3:22 3:58 4:26 5:09, doesnt it hurt your eyes ? :D
also, true gamer perfer physical one and number 1 and the ONLY reason why digital game sucks is that if you are a PC gamer and want to buy collector edtion for some games, then you are out of luck, except buying the PS or XBOX verison, which PC gamer would never do if you dont own any of those console.
I missed the time that i had to line up for getting my GTA IV at night. Nowadays ? SUCKS

"Top 10 reasons WHY physical games SUCK! Pros and Cons!" - But you left out all the pros, which are allot. Most may not even care to read this lengthy comment and that's fine. However, I felt that this video was very bias and wanted to provide my view in the matter. Surly this is a matter of preference, but I do not think that this video really highlights the the pros and state some not entirely true claims.
1, Yes, some games needs part of them downloaded when bought. However, almost all games I own physically can be played without ever connecting to the internet, such is the case with a lot of the games I play in my summer house (where there’s no connection).
On the rare occasion where I see a game in store where is says on the box I need to download parts of the game (as an example Resident Evil Revelations), then I simply wouldn't buy it as that is not physical in my opinion.
The space requirement, yes it takes up allot of space, but it is also something of a joy to a collector such as my self to be able to look at the beautiful collection in the shelves. I do however give you that this may not be what all gamers want.
In regard to moving. Yes, I've moved more than once with my collection. This was not a big hassle, but surely downloads are easier in this case, it goes without saying. However, I think most people don’t move that often that they consider this an issue.
2, Risk of damage - Digital games can still be corrupted due to bad storage media. This is especially true when the consoles, disks, memory cards, and so on gets old. On top of that you may never get your digital copy back due to the digital store being shut down (after a few generations). I've also lost games to Microsoft when I didn't replace my broken Xbox 360 for two years. By then when I started using it with my old account the games was gone (and yes, the games where bought online, not part of a subscription). Speaking to Microsofts support, they where unwilling to give me back the games I purchased.
3, I've never misplaced my games. They are right there in my game-shelfs when I need them. Given this could be the case for some people, but I think that many people that own their games physically are also being careful with them, as they may be collectors like me.
So, downloads cannot be stolen. I know people whom have had their Battlenet, steam and other such accounts stolen. This does not make you loose one game either, but all of them. That a physical game can be stolen or borrowed and never returned, can also be countered by the fact that I can let my family and friends try out my games which is impossible with a digital download (unless I lend them my entire console). On that note I've never actually lost a game, as I only lend them out to people that I truly trust.
"With digital games, once you bought them they are yours. No risk of loss". This is far from the truth as is evident by what happend to me with Microsoft (see no. 2).
4, "Most games lose their value fast" - Clearly you don't own any Nintendo games. Looking at my switch collection as an example, most of the games almost go for the same amount that I bought them for, some even more that that. This even more so when it comes to the collector editions. Trying to resell a download game though, now there's a challenge. At best you'll manage to sell your entire account and at that point to a massive loss.
5, I never really encounter that the game is sold out where I live. It must be due to all the people downloading their games instead :) . Should it happen though I'm quite sure I'll be able to find a store online from here I can order it. Should I ever encounter this issue in the future I'm quite sure I'll be able to wait.
6, "Quite a hassle" - This more seems like a lazy games issue. I've never thought it a hassle to get up from the couch to get another game and if one does it's probably all the more reason to get that extra exercise. :)
7, Surely there is no arguing that preloading is better, but I rather have it physically that fast as no one can claim I don't have a copy of the game any more (again Microsoft case).
8, Environmental impact - Indeed there is a bigger impact on the environment with the production of a physical game. This goes without saying, but that the games would just end up in a landfill.... I've never thrown away any of my games. I've kept about 95% of all my games and those that I really didn't want to keep I've either sold or given to a friend or family. Yes, I even keep the packaging for the second hand value (and yes, I realize that I'm a bit of a hoarder but still).
9, Region locking - This could sometimes be the case but it does feel like less and less of an issue. With the latest generation of consoles all being region free. For the real collector there's also the question of mod-chips that could also solve this problem on the previous generation of consoles.
10, Late deliveries - Yes, this could happen even though it extremely rarely happens to me and if it does I’m okay with it. I'll still be able to play it. I also have the opportunity to listen to early players and see if they experienced any serious bugs or huge disappointments with the game, which gives me time to retract my order.
Anyhow, that’s my rant on the matter, thank you and congrats on making it all the way through.
