📚 ABOUT THE MANIX 2:
The Manix 2 is a dependable, all-purpose folding knife that showcases Spyderco’s Made-in-USA quality and patented Ball Bearing Lock™. Its broad blade is precision machined from Crucible’s premium CPM® S30V® particle metallurgy stainless steel and features a full-flat grind for an exceptional balance of edge geometry and strength. Matching areas of jimping (textured grooves) on the thumb ramp and the index-finger choil complement the handle’s refined ergonomics to offer an amazingly secure, comfortable grip.
Constructed with full stainless steel liners, a stainless steel back spacer, and textured black G-10 scales, the Manix 2’s handle is home to a high-strength Ball Bearing Lock™ mechanism. One of our strongest, smoothest operating lock mechanisms, it consists of a hardened steel ball bearing encased in a polymer cage. When the knife is opened, a plunger drives the ball bearing forward onto a ramp on the blade, wedging it securely open. Pulling back on the cage releases the lock and allows the blade to pivot smoothly closed. Both opening and closing are easily performed with either hand and without ever placing your fingers near the blade’s edge.

Awesome video my friend! I have 4 of the Manix 2 with the fourth being the REC Manix 2 exclusive in the avocado colorway. Out of all the Spyderco knives I have, the Manix is my favorite. Been EDCing the REC exclusive since I got it almost 2 years ago, have put that knife through a lot and hasn't failed yet. Keep the excellent videos and reviews coming brother! 👍
Is the Manix 2 the best EDC knife of all time? Well if you ask Mr Beez from Beez Blades you would get a very passionate positive response, he loves them. I got one and its a heck of a EDC knife.
I bet, I gotta check out his review on it sometime. He’s always come across to me as a super cool dude! I check out his content every once in a while.
So far so good, the Manix 2 has been a blast! I still can’t believe it took me this long to get to experience it, but im so grateful I finally did!

I have a LOT of Spyderco knives. Not Bragging. Just saying. And in my experience for the manix 2 g10 , the Lynch nw or Chinese clone is way deep for that knife. And the t8 screws don’t make it easy too pull out of your pocket. Imo, the RGT universal ti clip is better and using the t8’s is where it’s at. They aren’t cheap. But definitely worth it. Nice pick up. Now if they would only use the skeletonized liners on the standard model and not just sprints ,exclusives and s110v versions it would be a better all around knife. AWT Scales will make this knife next level and you will ❤ it. 👍🏻

Just got a warrencliffe endura 4lw k390 and the grind/edge is mad wonky. I grabbed both of the REC Para3 coyote brown cpm10v knives when they dropped and the edges were near perfect. 😮 no belt chatter and very sharp. 10v is no joke either. Looks like you’ve got bit by the 🕷, don’t spend all your money, it gets expensive quick. I had some loot saved 2 years ago and couldn’t stop buying everything that came out that I liked 🤦♂️ I will have too sell some in the near future as I don’t need or will ever use the amount of knives I purchased. Live and learn I suppose. ✌🏼

Lol even though I consider myself to have some amount of spyderco fever lol I think I’m good with my 5 spydies for now. I’m always trying to balance budget, content I can produce on a knife, overall how much I like it and will end up using it. I’m trying to to go too crazy though, if you know what I mean.
Sometimes I find it so difficult though because I see knives I like and love and want to pick them up but then I have to remind myself of my other financial responsibilities 😅😭😭
Oh and me too, I also gotta try out k390 steel some time, that’s a new one for me.

Yeah it’s hard to resist some knives 🫣 last 2 years I’ve had a little extra cash and bought knives like crazy, now I’m not making as much money and am figuring I have more then enough knives too last a life time 😄will actually have to get rid of some at some point soon. I’m technologically retarded and grew up without cell phones etc, don’t really care for keeping up with tech but I’ll have too learn and I have a 21 year old daughter who can help luckily 👍🏻✌🏼

Waiting for the lightweight magnacut release. That’s the next and last purchase for awhile.
Oh that’s gonna be a sweet combo it sounds like! So far, I haven’t been a huge fan of lightweights, I’ve always saved a bit more to get the g10. Maybe it’s just me, and I’m legit missing out by not trying out the lightweight versions.
I’m any event, I only have 5 spyderco knives at this time, the ones in this video, so it’s not like I’ve even come close to experiencing everything out there or anything. I’m fully aware I’m barely scraping the surface if anything 😭😂😂
Now magnacut, even though I don’t own any, I hear nothing but great things about, so I’m hoping to pick up something magnacut sometime soon.

@@MiguelEDC I’ve really only bought a handful of lw manix’s. I like the g10 models better. I don’t know when the “salt” manix magnacut will drop, right now there is only a mule team and the native lw in maganacut. Which I have 2 serrated and one plain edge. I never like serrated blades but for working outside and cutting rope and stuff like that it’s amazing. I do love the native series and have way too many to list. Well, an m4,s90v,Rex45,s30v,s110v spy27 cruwear. The g10 version is also better in the native imo. Same as the para3. Have lots and I blade swap the exclusives “cause they are less expensive” into g10 or carbon fiber scales. I’m sure the manix lw will be yellow with Magnacut and have the screw together construction. Have fun bud 🙋♂️

@@MiguelEDC You’ll get there. You have good content. If you are interested in Spyderco knives I’d say check out their forum. There is lots of experienced users on there and lots of info, also usually a heads up when certain knives are gonna drop. I was a sprint run and exclusive chaser for awhile and steel obsessed 😀 I wanted everything that came out that wasn’t a standard version. Ain’t cheap that’s for sure. DLT Trading does good exclusives, REC does them but they usually sell out really fast. St.Nicks knives is another one, I have a few para3 exclusives from them, 2 lw cpm4v’s and the satin and dlc cpm10v para3’s. Enjoy
