Non compete are inherently scummy. Yeah, you shouldn't be able to take privileged material from one company to another, but there are already laws against that. I'm sure it's already been said on here, but Will Steltzer of MKK has a fantastic RUclips channel. Definitely support him in all of his endeavors cause he's young, very talented, and seems like a good dude.
I’ve been buying MKC knives for almost 3 years now. I have a friend who bought a benchmade folder 2 weeks before she came camping with a bunch of us. She saw and used a couple of my MKC’s that I brought with me and she immediately went and bought one that night. She still carries and uses her benchmade since it’s a folder but loves to carry her MKC with her whenever we’re all camping. I’ve never purchased a benchmade myself because SOG and other companies have folders that work for me. But I’ll never stop buying MKC knives. They’re just too good. What MKC does for its customers and how they support other small American made companies is awesome.
So, since we got a fixed blade baby banter, will we be getting fixed versions of the other banter knives? The original banter would make a perfect EDC fixed blade IMO.
Love it! Also love that new Lander 2 Clip point! For sure though, BM is over priced but MKC does copy, I mean draw heavy inspiration from others out there that are truly standing on their own two feet.
Would love to see the DBK boys on this channel! Also got my hands on a Yonder about a week ago and love it so far. Perfect size, really slicey would probably be a great fixed blade design in the future too but 🤷♂️ keep up the great videos guys! 🔥🫡

Actually I bought 3 knives last week : the yonder, banter 2 and lander 2 and I love them all. They are quite different so each of them has its place in my pockets for different uses ❤
I need a clip point lander 2. Looked like the scales were aluminum which would look cool on that knife. I’m definitely going to have to purchase the knife.
Hello Y'all, I'm somewhat in a quagmire as my hands "outside to outside, forefinger knuckle to little finger knuckle" is just over 4"... I don't feel a good purchase w/any blade handle under 3.5"... Are you going to make anything (folder/fixed) that I could "grip well"??? Keep up the good work and vids, be safe and take care, "God Bless", sincerely, Randy. 😇🙏👊
Not sure if this would be popular, but a 2-minute segment on certain general principles of law that apply to knives and carrying certain types of knives would be interesting for a while. Something very brief that was reviewed by your legal team - perhaps a term of the day such as "curtilage" and how it applies to weapons or knives in some states. Because state law is so different, it would be more focused on general terms and principles rather than specifics.
you've done a couple of cross promotional field trips with outdoor RUclipsrs, next you should try and go on an excursion with Eric Hanson. Love the stuff gentlemen.
Benchmade suing old employees and USA makers while Temu/ Amazon are literally selling their counterfeit products for $11 seems counter productive at best.
Benchmade sees the writing on the wall, customers fled because of pricing, employees are leaving because of obvious problems at the corporate level, and any knife company is free to use their lock which is the only thing that made them special for a long time. This was them throwing a tantrum.
You still know that Benchmade makes 10's of millions dollars over all other competitors, right? Government contracts. But speaking of throwing tantrums, remember when Spyderco was sueing another company because they used the word "salt" in their brand?
Mailbox/fresh prints question: My son is in college for engineering, and is asking for a 3D printer for Christmas. Can you recommend any to start my research, or popular brads/models? I know nothing about them. Btw…still waiting for the knafs slip joint. I love it. 🍺
I think a cool segment on the show would be to go back and bring a long lost gem back to the light by showing off an old knife that it underrated and you think should get more attention. Thanks!
Before MKC established themselves in the hunting knife market Benchmade were the only brand that really made knives in the high end range but with MKC in the mix it’s good for us customers to have more options so it’s a win-win for us customers

It's just pitiful of Benchmade to be such pansy asses about all this. Why am I not surprised though.
Run by Jr. Who can't live up to his father's legacy.
It's a sprinkle and rainbow company, I wouldn't expect anything different.
Any possibility the new sheaths could accomodate a DCC clip?
bravo on the abundance mindset
You can’t have abundance without taking from others.
Benchmade loves over charging people for knives. That's who Benchmade is.
so does mkc 😂
Keep iterating my guys. Love it.
I miss seeing all the variety of knife knowledge, that I got from the BHQ vids you guys used to do. Knife mods, how to’s and ideas.
I’d love to see some survival/camp/bushcraft ideas/usage… putting your knives to actual use in a multitude of ways. It’s one thing to hear specs and see the knife… It’s a whole other, to really get a visual on all the things we can do with them, both aesthetically and in working mode.
I was literally thinking about a clip point it looks amazing
I’m a fan of both but, MKC’s recent bird knives freezeout & sharptailed look very closely to the Benchmade Flyway.
make a segment of "cool shit you got to use your knife for this week" I get excited when I can use mine for anything besides opening amazon packages lol
I need a Lander 4 in magnacut. I love the shape and design but want that premium steel
Thanks for another entertaining episode. 😊
Actually I bought 3 knives last week : the yonder, banter 2 and lander 2 and I love them all. They are quite different so each of them has its place in my pockets for different uses ❤
Anuus carry is available now too. Benchmade has it all.
Oh boy, I had something similar happen. There is always 2 sides to the story and typically fault on both sides.
I need a clip point lander 2. Looked like the scales were aluminum which would look cool on that knife. I’m definitely going to have to purchase the knife.
I just got a Spyderco Mule Team. What are some things you learned about handle scales while designing the Lulu and Baby Banter fixed blade?
Talks of poaching designs and wearing an Ozark shirt was wild 🤣
Maybe compare slip joints vs modern folders?
Both companies over charge for their knives for what you get.
you've done a couple of cross promotional field trips with outdoor RUclipsrs, next you should try and go on an excursion with Eric Hanson. Love the stuff gentlemen.
Love that watch! What is it?
Went to law school. Studying for the bar. I’d love to be Knafs unofficial “legal liaison”.
Send it on! 😂
Don’t tempt me… 🙌
Home run on all the fixed blades! Now we need a leather pocket sheath for the Baby Banter fixed blade!
Love my Yonder! Got it Wednesday and It's my new daily. thinking about getting the G10 version also as a secondary
Waste your money. Go ahead.
Benchmade suing old employees and USA makers while Temu/ Amazon are literally selling their counterfeit products for $11 seems counter productive at best.
Better quality at $11.00.
Haven’t bought any Benchmade since I heard about this. Instead, bought about 5 MKC blades instead.
Thanks!
the baby banter fixed blade is a good size for a belt knife scout carry
Ben must have gone as Weird Al for Halloween.
Allen, if you're in here- where can we buy that shirt?
Those shirts are great! Thanks for the Knife World Tea.😂
I got my Younder 2 weeks and is part of EDC family mine is G10 .
Congrats on the Lander Kevin!
From the last picture of cat v dog, the dog on the cat side is the employee that left benchmade and went to mkc hahah!
Before MKC established themselves in the hunting knife market Benchmade were the only brand that really made knives in the high end range but with MKC in the mix it’s good for us customers to have more options so it’s a win-win for us customers
To be honest, I’m not the biggest fan of Benchmade, and definitely not a fan of Montana Knife Company. Thanks for the information Ben, very intriguing!
Before I pull the trigger, does the Lander 4 leather sheath accommodate both blade shapes?
I got my Baby Banter fixed blade and in Bens words Love it! ❤
love the look of the lulu in the leather sheath
Where do I buy both of those shirts?!?!
LANDER 1. YES LANDER 2 Yes. What do I buy next damn great design
Lander 2 is the Griptilian replacement
Great Work
Austin, Sinn U1 ? Nice 👍🏻
I know this is definitely not the ethos of this channel but tell Zach to make an XL yonder and I’ll take that and a clip point lander 2 in the link provided. Thanks.
