Love your show, I know it's only a very small part of what you do, but don't stop doing it, it builds a connection with you purchasers. There are loads of knife shows but none that I know where it's the designers and there's no bullshit. I live in the UK, I have just ordered a lander 3 clip point, can't wait for it to arrive! I lot of online USA knife stores have a lot of terms to ship to the UK, most annoying is the minimum order of $200. You should mention it on your RUclips show, if you don't think it will upset your stockists, only one in the UK and they haven't got much stock. Keep it up guys 😁

I was just watching an old BladeHQ knife banter vid with these two talking about the whole range of side opening automatic knives from Piranha. They convinced me to buy a Piranha P1 Pocket. That vid is 7 years old according to RUclips. I wonder if they remember filming it. Also I know that Knafs isn't an automatic knife company because it kind of runs counter to their focus in the knife design space, but I'd love to see if they can design an automatic knife that also has their unique character and aesthetic.

I love my Lander 2 Clip point. I agree that the paper micarta does feel a little slippery when you feel it, but it surprisingly doesn't really effect my grip when I use it. I love the overall aesthetics of the combination of the clip point finish, gold thumb studs, and the brown paper micarta! Definitely my favorite Lander aesthetics-wise. Looking forward to see how the handles patina!

I really love the smooth paper Micarta on my Lander 2 clip point. As a matter of fact, I usually sand and polish all of my Micarta scales. I loves me some smoooooth❤
I have the lander 2 clip. Love the look and overall design of the knife but the scales were too slick for me. I sanded them down with 400 grit and it added just a little bit of grip and contouring and I love them now!
Ben, it's not a tank. It's a Ferret, an obsolete British Army scout car. It was designed post WW2 and saw use throughout British Army service through the first decades of the Cold War. It's been out of service since the early 70s, replaced by the Fox/FV721, which itself was replaced by a completely tracked version of the Scimitar tracked vehicle family called the Sabre.
Could we talk you guys into selling just the charcoal micarta scales, the paper micarta scales and the moondust micarta scales separately. In the L2 and L3 sizes?? If I said pretty pretty please!?!?

Lynch clips are great. I have 2 of them, both of which are on Spyderco's. One of the knives was a custom Yojimbo 2 from Wander EDC that came with a Lynch clip and I really liked. I later order a Para 3 and the default Spyderco clip is way to long for that knife so I ordered a short Lynch clip and its perfect. They make a solid product.
Wow, I was never really drawn to the Lander (huge banter fan tho! 😍) but with that clip point it looks so gorgeous!! Hopefully I’ll pick one up once I’ve ticked off some of the others on my hit list. Gotta get that sexy textured aluminium crossbar lock WE Banter first!

As a broke college student living on his own, the Black Friday Lander 1 deal was just enough for me to snatch one! Super pumped! Great episode today, but disappointed in y’all’s lack of faith in Bigfoot!! People will say I’m crazy, but I got first and second hand encounters… the woods are a beautiful and wild place. Love the outdoors and those noises 😂
I would love to hear your encounters! I've had a couple hair raising experiences down in south Florida/ever glades myself. One where no one under the sun could tell me that what I seen was an escaped zoo ape... Nope not a chance, I was watching the nostrils flare through my night force 25x rifle scope and it was only about 170 yards from me. Not fully exposed but the top half was and that thing was every bit of 3 foot taller than I and I'm 6'1. I watched it for about 2 mins before it walked off, he knew something was up but I guess he didn't see me but he was dang sure getting some type of smell that was making that nose work over time.... Two days later in the same area I heard knocks that was fairly close to me and I could smell something very foul and I guarantee it was that animal that I seen 2 days before... I have been over the event many many many times in my head and the only thing I can come up with is it was a squatch. I talked to a warden a couple days later and he told me there has been ape sightings by multiple people and they believe it was a gorilla that escaped it's enclosure and I was like no sir that was not a gorilla I've seen plenty of gorillas in zoos and this wasn't no 2 second sighting I watched him for what felt like 10 mins but it was actually about 2 mins and I'm observing this thing through a 3500 dollar rifle scope that's ultra bright and clear not some 20 dollar wally world special. I know what I seen wasn't a gorilla and I know this wasn't some human in a costume or something like that.
If Knafs is looking to "disappear" the 14C28N Lander 1 in G10, I'm glad I now have three of them (I hope they last forever)! The contoured, G10 handles with light texturing are so, so, so comfortable! They feel like giant jelly beans! I'm gonna ruin them by installing Skiffs. Just you watch, Ben Petersen! Just you watch...
This video sold me on the 3 clip. The shape of the 2 clip point isn't for me, but the shape of this 3 is like a Buck 112, and the handle is very similar too. In fact, the size isn't far off either. Clip points are out of fashion these days, which is a real shame, because I love them. I'll let you know what I think of it!
Update: Received it, I love it. Came centered, no blade play, smooth action, functionally sharp. Steel took an edge easily, and deburrs so easily that the burr disappeared before the deburring stage of my sharpening. Very thin behind the edge, and that's for real, not just a 30° angle making it look like it's thin behind the edge. It's traditional barlow thin, bordering on Opinel thin. It doesn't just have cutting geometry, it has cutting OH GEEometry. The scales are smooth, but they have a tack to them. They don't feel especially slick. And the way the gold liners look like brass, and the micarta looks like wood, is just gorgeous. It's the modern grandpa knife of my dreams.
