Welcome to my channel! This is a music reaction channel. For the longest time, I've loved creating content on the internet. I started off with a gaming channel right here on RUclips, which eventually turned into a Twitch gaming channel, but as time has gone on I've evolved into doing other things on RUclips. For years now I've wanted to create a music channel on RUclips, and recently just figured "why not?", so it’s time to give this a go! Give me any suggestion you have for music reactions, and I will do my best to get around to them. As music has fallen further out of my life, I figured this would be a great time to get reintroduced to music.

I caught this tour at Nassau Coliseum. What an awesome show. Almost as good as The Wall in 1980.

I travelled to Scotland to see this show. It was the greatest thing I've ever seen. No one will understand until they've sat beside or underneath the factory set. What a feeling!!!!
Of course "Animals" was performed live in 1977 during Pink Floyd's "In The Flesh" tour! I just don't know if they filmed it however there are some bootleg films of parts of that tour and album being played live!
I even remember hoping to myself while I watched them play all of "Wish You Were Here" and all of "Animals" and three songs from Dark Side of the Moon for their encore!! Maybe Rodger Waters has it hidden away somewhere in a vault the live taping of that concert??? We can only hope!!!
I say "we can only hope" because I've seen them play 4 different times in three different decades and that 1977 concert was probably their best even up there with Pulse!!!
I spoke of this once before when you listen to Animals, I said at first I only liked it a little bit but it grew on me over the years and now it's become a toss-up whether I like this Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here or Meddle the most??!? Animals is an album that if you at first didn't like it that much I think will grow on you over the years like it did me and I think many others!!

Critical, you may have misremembered the conversation. Pink Floyd's 'In The Flesh' tour of 1977 was their biggest most extravagant tour to that date. It is what solidified them as masters of stadium concerts. Their new "Animals" album was performed in its entirety during that tour. In fact it's been dubbed "The Animals Tour" ever since. This is the tour that would introduce the iconic Pig to their audience… an enduring symbol that would remain with them to the very end.
I believe that conversation from a while ago was to point out that there is no clean video of these concerts as Floyd did not allow their concerts to be filmed in those days. They were extremely camera shy and preferred their personal anonymity. The Gilmour led Pink Floyd has never performed it. People would have went nuts if they had performed "Dogs" during the Pulse tour. To the best of my knowledge Gilmour has never played anything from Animals, solo or with the band, since that '77 tour. And BTW, the vocals and lead guitar on Dogs is all Gilmour, Roger comes in for the last part after the long barking psychedelic break. The replacement guy on vocals and guitar here does a fairly decent job. But nowhere near Mr. Gilmour.
Yes, that's what I was thinking 😁 there wasn't a good quality one I guess. I really did like this performance of it, and I agree, I think the guy singing Gilmour's section does a pretty good job.
My brother saw this concert at the United Center in Chicago that year. The "Pigs" performance is even better. Roger sings lead on that one. However it may be a little controversial as Roger leaves no question as to who he believes today's Pig/leader is. Spoiler Alert: the pig does make a grand appearance.

I never understood why *Roger* on this tour made *Jonathan Wilson* sing *_Dogs_* when in his "orchestra" has been part, since 2000, *Jon Carin* who knows how to perform it much better and, above all, has the right voice to do it. I consider it a real "catastrophic mistake" for that song ...

Allow me to suggest you listen to all this concert which, in my opinion, is one of the best from *Roger* and does not indulge in excessive stage superstructures but has a remarkable musical balance. There you will find more songs that have never been performed by the Gilmour-run P.F.

Roger Waters can’t be bothered to sing or actually play all of that much, but he puts on an engaging show as a master of ceremonies even if it is mostly a mime show.
