Real DIY friendly... as long as you can fab a tool for the passenger side adjuster and a super uncommon 46mm thin wall socket that's only available in 3/4" drive.
Live in Nevada … retired army … picking up a low mileage 3rd gen frontier pro4x … wanna go titan swap 35s icon all around … let me know if you need a test vehicle next spring!
Man if you guys sold m205s and you could build them out with whatever gear set we want would be so helpful. Im tiran swapped on a 2nd gen and i want to go up in tire size to 35s but i refuse to do it without regearing to at least 4.10s thats the only thing holding me back right now i can't afford to buy gears qnd pay a shop to do it right now.
Hey buddy, just subscribed to the channel! I have a 2018 nissan frontier and love it. It has a 4.0L, just installed an Amazon budget cold air intake, 3 inch lift and a TAC modular bull bar. Unfortunately my truck is 2 wheel drive, do you think it would be extremely difficult to make it 4 wheel drive? I was think about getting all necessary parts from a wrecked frontier.
Yes it would be difficult I've seen one person do it but I think with all the time and money you would be better off trading it in for another one. Just my opinion though you do what you want.
So if grinding down for clearance on the inside of the case becomes necessary is there any problems adding some back to the outer carrier via welding heliarc
Nice! Love to watch you guys but I need to say that music and slow motion "montage" is annoying AF. Just ditch that stuff and keep real time grinding, banging and swearing in.
Cool video. I'm going to start hunting down a M205 before I V8 swap my Frontier.
Good info, i was hoping you guys would walk us thru on how to adjust the m205 to get a good pattern.
Exciting - thanks for walking thru the process and sharing so much knowledge on the different differentials and gearing process.
Would definitely be interested in videos of a step-by-step M205 diff rebuild. Very informational vids! Keep up the good work!
Thanks! Will do!

Might just convince me to get a frontier 😅
Great video Chad and crew! This video is so M205 info heavy, might be worth including M205 somewhere in the video title for the search algorithm?
Great information!

Hey what's the trick to getting the side adjusters not to gall up coming out. I've pulled 2 m205s from the junkyard and they are definitely a problem.

Do you guys know of any way to move the drivers seat back to get more leg room on a 2014 2nd gen Nissan Frontier Crew cab 4x4
