Love it, superb stuff and great advice, especially #1. "Failure to plan is planning to fail."!! Been a landscape shooter for 20 years and the most important thing is practice! Just keep practising, 'cos the more you see shots and compare to others the more you will see how great shots are framed. Composition is a key and learn the "rule of thirds" as it's still a great way to get a good start. Finally stop expecting instant results! Creativity be it video, photography, painting or drawing, it takes time and there are no shortcuts in creativity, just get yer arse out the door and keep learning and the more you do it the better you will get. I started flying drones about 6 months ago and my years of photography experience has come in so useful, seeing the landscapes from a different angle has given me more outlets for creativity, especially when the weather's shit and traditional landscape shoots aren't going so well, whip out the drone and try something else to exercise the creative muscles.
Thankyou buddy! - Yep absolutely agree with all of the above - practice and experiment and just have fun flying around. I was lucky enough to have studied and obtained qualifications in photography many years ago (chems and darkroom stuff!) but much of what I learnt then still applies even in this digital age 👍🖖
I really like the way you simplify difficult concepts and explain them in an easy and funny way 🤩. Congrats, buddy! The video turned out great and very useful.👏👏👏
Very nice piece. I lucked into this one and saved it to my library for future reference. Good job. I liked and subscribed and plan to see if you did any other videos on some of those other interesting affects you featured in this video.
Thankyou so much - sorry it's not really an outdoor one, but you know what the weather's been like 🌧️and I was itching to get a vid out after my 'week off'. Good weather coming up now though! Silbury Hill here I come! Thanks for watching and your support! 🖖
@@amoktimeflies absolute pleasure mate and was a fantastic video! Oh yea the weather has been horrendous again what with that rain and the wind! Look forward to your next one , your channels going from strength to strength ! 👏👌
I'd like to say that it just comes naturally to me, but it's actually a lot of bumbling around like an idiot, learning from my mistakes (they're still up there for everyone to see!) and watching about 500 RUclips videos that taught me! 😂 Thanks as always PD!🖖
Ahh Doc - you are too kind! - I just do what I do and if it helps people or gives them a giggle then so much the better. Thanks for watching and the lovely comment 😊🖖
I've flied over that horsey when I booked a microlight flight a few years ago while on me o'lidays.😂 As creating little RUclipss is my hobby, I splashed the cash and took out a Lifetime membership to a Royalty Free music site. It was the best thing I ever did. Before doing this I would spend hours or days trying to find decent royalty free music to put in my masterpieces. I even got fed up with the RUclips free stuff. I still spend hours choosing music however with a dedicated music site its a lot less faff.
Thanks for watching, and the comment Frank. Feels weird to think that someone from Blackpool would come holiday here! I am very tempted by those paid for libraries, and it would be great if one of them sponsored me! But I haven’t quite run out of music from the RUclips library yet 😉 🤞🖖
@@amoktimeflies It's a very nice part of the world to visit. And a complete change from my hometown. 😇 As for an audio site, I picked one with a lifetime membership. I make very infrequent episodes so it would be a waste to pay monthly or annually. And my chosen Audio site even gave me an affiliate link. They probably thought I was an up and coming channel. But I appreciated the gesture.
Hello, your Video to the topic was great. I just have one question, which Programm did you use for editing? I also bought a dji mini 4 pro and have already made some very good shots but don’t know where I could cut them.
Thanks matey! Wish I'd worked this stuff out when I first started! (watch my early vids if you dare! 😂) Very happy to share it with people to give them a head start or reality check 😁🖖
Hi Amok hope you're well. So today I had bit of free time and thought yes nice weather so give the drone its first outside flight, checked the app and what the hell, the whole of Kent area is covered with a yellow overlay, saying paragliding then goes on to say temporary and ends this weekend but I just don't know if I'm allowed to fly in a yellow zone or not and hoping you could shed some light on it as fingers crossed the weather is going to stay dry and warm for a few days all the best Steve
Hi Ste - Yeh - the weather's great isn't it! Yellow areas are purely air navigation *warnings*, so I would fly my drone, but just be extra vigilant and definitely not BVLOS flight (not that we would do that anyway right?! 😉) I'd also stay under about 50M altitude just to be on the safe side, but if you've got really good 360 degree visibility then you could go higher. If you see or hear a paraglider coming (look like that warning is for powered paragliders) - stick her in sport mode and hit the deck as quickly as possible... Hope that helps! 🖖
All thanks to people like you Ste! - Have fun this weekend - can't wait to see what you produce! I've subbed - so I want to see that footage in my feed at some point!😁🖖
@@amoktimeflies I will get that footage, can't belief I've had the drone since jan and not been out with it. You are very welcome and many thanks for the sub.
