Thanks for watching Alex and your question. I think the rather vague answer would be that 'you mileage may vary' 🤔 Sadly I haven't had the opportunity to try them out with FPV, but I suspect it's all a matter of physics and the type of T.U.R.D you may have (Totally Unplanned Rapid Descent 😉). They are pretty solidly fixed on though and whilst there is obviously a *chance* you could lose one on impact, the good thing is they are relatively cheap, so worst case scenario would be that they will save your lens (which is way more expensive!) Sorry I realise that's vague, but I hope it helps at least a little bit.... Best of luck! 🖖

The thing is, I’ve previously looked into filters and found some from K&F Concept that attach directly to the camera, rather than using magnets. I’ve been using this type on a Mini 2, and I’m very satisfied with them-they hold on very well. In fact, I sometimes worry about damaging the gimbal when swapping them out due to how tightly they fit. That being said, magnetic filters would be much more convenient-you simply bring the filter close, and it snaps into place. I’m particularly interested in this Freewell model because it combines both ND and CPL, and I know Freewell has a reputation for being a professional and high-quality brand. The filters I mentioned earlier (with direct attachment) are only ND, at least from what I’ve found so far. Thank you again for your time and insights-it really helps!

More than welcome buddy. I suspect the filters for the Neo are magnetic because unlike other Mini style drones there really isn't much of a way to attach them otherwise without compromising the gimbal. I have tried other brands of filters on other drones, but have to say that Freewell do seem to be the best brand out there in terms of balance of quality and value - others have broken - Freewell, so far, have not - and I use then a lot!. (Full disclosure - Yes I have been sent filters FOC for unbiased review by Freewell, but have bought a good amount of them with my own money for mirrorless camera work / other drones as well and find them top notch). Hey Steven - Thanks for watching and your question... Whilst I don't personally have the Samsung Tab 10, 20 minutes does seem excessive for transferring the files. One thing that comes to mind is how much free storage you have on your Tablet - if it's not a lot then it may be taking some time as it has to 're-order' stuff in it's storage to fit your footage in (A little knowledge is a dangerous thing and I'm frikkin' lethal! 😂) Also you didn't mention what format you were shooting in. If it's something like 4K 60fps HDR then those files are BIG, so that may also be a factor. Have a look at this vid and see if it kindof matches your timings. I managed to take a mastershot and get it uploaded to Instagram in less than 7 minutes using an iPhone ruclips.net/video/ex2BCKFfYsE/видео.html (I swear I'm not going to get into and Apple vs Samsung battle here - had too many of them! 😂) Don't know if any of that helps but fingers crossed... 🤞🖖

@amoktimeflies I have watched so many videos on using the mini 3 pro camera its hard to know what is best. I'm not trying to make a Cecil b Demille classic, just a travel dialogue. I often don't know what is best for my purpose.

4K 25 or 30fps should be fine for your purposes (I stick to 30fps as most of my audience is in the US). I'd also advise locking the white balance at around 5500-5600K to stop any weird colour shifting. Leave focus on Auto and you're good to go for any quick clips you want to take. If you're still struggling with performance of your tablet after that, then try dropping down to 1080p. Hope that helps! 🖖

@amoktimeflies that is a great idea on colour temp and also the resolution. These nd filters on drones I do not understandxthe numbering. On normal camera an ND filter is rates as 1 or 2 etc which relates to camera stops, but the drone has things like 64, o surely that can't be 64 stops?

Here you go, Sir! My friends at Freewell have a good explainer for this : support.freewellgear.com/portal/en/kb/articles/filter-guide At the end of the day though, it's not necessarily a case of putting on a specific filter for specific conditions - I tend to use the zebras on the RC controller to work out if I need a filter on, whilst keeping my shutter speed at 1/60 using 30fps. If I'm getting too many zebras then I step the ND filter up one (or basically double the ND number eg ND32 to ND64). Generally though and ND32 is what I use probably 60-70% of the time. 🖖

Ah! - just realised - There isn't actually a choice of shooting modes because technically you're just taking lots and lots of photos and then the drone stiches them together to make the hyperlapse. The options you *do* have are either jpeg or raw for the photos that are used. Whilst jpeg uses smaller file sizes I would normally use raw (if I remember to!) because it uses 48mp in the photos, so if I do have to zoom in in post very little detail is lost, which can be an issue with the 12mp jpeg files. Thankyou! Yeh - Kindof thought it would be useful for people that got the Neo for Christmas as their first drone. If you don't mind me asking - how do you download straight from the Neo to an SSD? Or do you do it indirectly via a PC/Mac/tablet with both the Neo and SSD plugged into it?🖖

@amoktimeflies Initially, I used to transfer from the Neo onto the sd card in my tablet, then copy the files to the SSD. Now I use a usb C multiport hub so I can connect everything at once
