You’re still young not even 30 so enjoy the beautiful life God has given you. I understand you want companionship but you want the right one. Take your time and work on you. Work on things that you and only you know needs work When it’s time for you to connect with that special someone, it will happen. Both of you will be ready for each other. ❤ Never settle bc you’re lonely. You should not chase anyone. You have way too much going on for yourself to settle for less. Atlanta is a slower pace than NY and LA. Chicago is a nice city but Atlanta is very nice. Housing has increased but all cities have increased in housing, food, etc If it’s not what you’re looking for or need , then possibly moving back closer to family would be idea.
22:25 "live your life like a human being, not a human doing" I think this was my message for today, because this morning, I saw a video on Facebook that said this, and now, 12 hours plus later, I'm watching your video that was recorded 2 or 3 years ago, and you repeat the exact same thing, so thank youuu ❤
I am 43 years old & just got out of the “grind hard” mindset a few years ago and embracing a slow & restful life. I still have lots of fun & meaningful experiences but long gone are the working 6 days a week & 10 hour days. I’m so glad that you have adopted the “make more by doing less” mentality at such a young age. Agree with you about money scarcity as well. I got degrees, certs & skills and know how to make money; I should not be out here being so frugal & hoarding my money. My life is to be lived & loved!
yes!! thank you so much for sharing your experience. ❣️ we all learn at many different phases in our lives. i'm really looking forward to continue working on not having a scarcity mindset because i truly do not want to look back on my 20s and say all i did was work 🥺
I’m honestly watching all the videos i didn’t get to watch and I’m honestly agreeing with you on this! That self love you have for yourself will reflect and bring the right man along. & being single is Okk, finding your true self is Okk!!! Do good for yourself, make yourself smile because at the end of the day you are living for YOU. Love you Amani💖
girrrrrl yes! i have to keep telling myself that being single is OK!! even if i've been single for years. it's just going to make "the one" feel so much more sweeter 💖💖💖 thank you for watching! love you boo!!!
I absolutely love that you’re focusing on rest in 2022! I was listening to another video and the young lady was talking about setting new systems for yourself instead of resolutions because that’s less intimidating; the language we use really plays a major role in how we approach things. So instead of making the resolution to save more money , for example, t it can say in 2022 I’m setting a new system to manage my abundance of wealth !
girrrrrrrrl. i be sleepy & i honor that. i don’t feel shame for sleeping a lot more. it’s my birth right 🤷🏾♀️. but i love the idea of creating new systems bc there’s so much that i need to de-center and reprogram 😭
@@AmaniRakeia yesss!! When she said that I was like OH WOW!! Like this is what I’ve been needing, that shift in mindset. Setting new systems instead of goals/resolutions.
I feel you on the money thing. Omg… I spend wayyy too much money literally out of fear. It’s weird, but it’s like idk how to handle it. Idk what to do with it or how to like actually save. Definitely gotta work on healthier money habits.
ugh girl, the fear is so real. i’m trying to figure out ended for start. but i think i’m just gonna start by journaling how much money i currently have, and what’s saved & then what i want to manifest month over month.
I started with one video now I’m watching in order. She is literally my new fav tv show. I’m 36 i see so much of young me in her. I see so much current me in her. Also the most honest person in RUclips! ❤
Hey! I’m also from New York. I actually started a Podcast about the very experience you’re having- My podcast is ‘ While We Wait: The Podcast about Abstinence’ and it’s on every platform. now, I decided to abstain three years ago and I do date buuuut the experience has been quite interesting because yeah I’ve been single for these three years. Did date some guys for a few months but we didn’t have the conversation about entering into a relationship. So yeah don’t feel bad at all!! Honestly being 24 I’m like I’m really not in the space to be with someone that deeply. I know I desire it but there’s work I need to do for myself first. We think once we get all the material things we’re good but that inner work has to get done
omg, link me your podcast! i would love to take a listen. i feel you not fully being ready or not in the space to be with someone. i definitely have my moments where i feel so free being single & doing my own thing in my little world lol
It seems like the decision to make you choose the parent to live with was wrong. I know when my son's dad and I went through this it would have broke me. Not saying I'm taking up for her but this would have paralyzed me. I'm sure she had anger and resentment that she didn't handle properly. I know that this is an older video, praying for your healing journey.
