    Great review. Now imagine it with 390whp/415ft-lbs, 6700rpm redline, intake/BOV noise, 35% shorter shifts, and a tasteful growl from the Cobb exhaust. That’s what I’ve done to my ‘22 Premium and it’s a downright excellent driving experience. Total cost $31k for the new car and $4k in mods. It does 0-60 in 3.5s! Just bonkers value.

    1) You can change the A/C button to recirculate if you want, but mine hasn't really used outside air (probably because of the heat and humidity in Central TX).
    2) The screen seems to "warm up" and is usually the slowest right after startup and when i haven't opened any menus. Once CarPlay/AA are loaded, you kind of forget about it.
    3) Camera quality sucks and it doesn't make much sense as to why Subaru has chosen to cheap out on it.

    @devinmartin3673 Месяц назад

    This video and Savagegeese's videos on the TR have convinced me that my next car after I want to move on from my black '20 WRX w/PP will be a TR. It does a better job of blending performance, fun, comfort, and year round utility than its competitors However, $43k is just too much when you consider the MSRP of a GRC Premium, the Type R, or the Golf R. In reality, though, there's no mark ups or waiting lists with WRX's, and Subaru even takes orders. I MIGHT be able to find a GRC at MSRP, I'd be lucky to get a Type R for $5k ADM, and the Golf R is impossible to find (and the 6MT is dead in '25). I'm sure I'll be able to find a TR sitting on a lot in 2025 and get it for 10% under MSRP. That's what makes the WRX the choice among its competitors. Kept stock (or close to it), these FA series motors are reliable, and the WRX just gets the job done in all conditions. It's a car that continues to be misunderstood - it is greater than the sum of its parts.

I'm still riding it easy while I break in the engine, and even with this mild driving the brakes just don't bite. I'd be puckering if riding hard and needing to come to a quick stop. Big brake kit is top of the list for me. Will be cheaper than buying the '24 TR lol

    Man all of these people talking shit about the wrx really gets on my nerves because the say that it is such bad value and all of this nonsense but my dad own the 2023 50th anniversary edition of this car in a blue colour and it is such a fun and exciting car to just exist in when take a hard turn or go around a round about just going straight through the roundabout if you take a line that is close the curb it’s so exile rating and when you are just having fun with the car to be honest you don’t care one bit about what all of these people are saying is bad about it so to all of those people,e out there who say that the wrx is a terrible value car or not good enough to me spending time having fun with my family is priceless ❤❤

    Personally I’m having a really difficult time thinking if the GR Corolla is worth getting over a WRX TR, prices for the GR are still way too high, let alone being able to find one is still really difficult especially when compared to the TR.

      i take wrx all dayover corolla GR. more practical. better interior. More linear powerplant. Seating position in the GR is also said to be way too high.

      I went to a 2023 S3 from this car (Premium trim). Very much worth it, though I will say in this TR trim with the brakes and the Recaro seats, this is a great proposition.
      Just having a tune on this new WRX gives crazy gains and really makes the car enjoyable. That new FA24 is very under tuned from the factory.

    I don't know why..... I've only owned my 2020 M340i xDrive for 15 months..... but my heart yearns for a Manual car again...... specifically a 2024 WRX Club Spec (TR with Wing), FL5 Civic Type R or GR Yaris Rallye...... tell me I'm crazy!!! or not??? If I'm not, which would YOU pick out of those? (Yes, I know I'd be "downgrading") Cheers Don, Perth W.Australia (Dons Shed and Xplor Overland)

Im very much leaning more toward wrx TR Or golf R manual but I can't decide! driven both and gotta say the wrx was just so fun to drive, and the mk8 golf no buttons interface is clunky. Think im going wrx!
