My piece was a 20£ vintage dresser which I sanded down, and used a router to create many small faux drawers. I replaced damaged veneer and applied Danish oil to make the wood look beautiful. I used orange scented bees wax for the inside of the dresser, the back and the drawers. Label pulls were attached to complete the look.

Jay, I like your entry the best. While it is not spooky Halloween themed, you truly brought this old lady back to life. Your dedication to restoring, repairing and making sure every part of the piece is clean is admirable. I have watched half of the other channels in this challenge and I am not impressed.

I love the result! The only suggestion I would make, would be to write the numbers on the drawers in an Elfin looking script.
Great idea! but my handwriting it terrible 😂 whoever buys this can easily replace the inserts 😉

My thoughts exactly! You can download fonts or even jpegs to print on parchment. It is amazing without it, but would add that extra authentic touch 💕
It's just the theme of the Halloween video, ffs carry an idea too far
The paint used in some of the previous videos is nice, but just can't compare to the beauty in natural wood. I would think anyone would be proud to own this piece.

Stunning transformation! At the first of the video, I thought this would be a card catalog like we used in libraries in ancient days. The result is charming, and I especially like the "secret" jewelry boxes on the top. the variety of colors of the wood is another charmer. Super-nice work!

This work brought life back for a piece that may have ended up in a landfill. Your attention to detail as usual is beyond excellent. The fact you didn't stain the wood and let the natural color stand out is also excellent. This is a total keeper with a new lease on life. WOW! Thanks for the touch of multi faux drawers. Your abilities and patience are astounding. That was amazing to watch. Also, thank you for the beautiful music that you used on this video. I wish all furniture flipper/restorers/rescuers used beautiful piano music in their soundtracks. You and Barry from Mad City Modern are my favorites for watching an artist preserve the beauty of the wood. @@Flippingdrawers I'm in remission but continuing with treatment for 10 years to reduce the risk of it returning, feel very very lucky to live near one the best cancer centres in the UK and to receive a new treatment under the NHS that not all people can get. It costs £500 per injection every 3 weeks for a year and defiantly helped in saving my life.😁

The work you did is outstanding.
I like that the boxes on top have hinges that open to the side. When open it doesn't bang the wall mirror or picture if there were to be above this peace.
