I purchased this dresser from an auction for an entire dollar. Nobody else bid for it, so lucky me~
I actually really like when I find dressers like this that have all the drawer fronts touching edge-to-edge. It makes the front of the dresser one big canvas, and it gives me a ton of creative freedom. My original idea with the handles, as seen in the video, had to be scrapped because it didn't look as nice as I thought it would. I think with the drawers themselves looking so nice on their own with the scored lines, and the handles being a bit chunky, it was just much better to keep it simple and do one handle per drawer.
If you enjoyed this makeover, please like and subscribe to see more. And if you have any questions, I would be happy to answer your comments.
    Thank you for watching :)

I agree. I usually turn off the sound so I don't have to listen to annoying, repetitive music. I turn on captioning if I need to hear explanations. But since I will never do this myself, I enjoy watching the process without needing to know the specifics. I often listen to RUclips news, a Podcast, or an audiobook while I watch a video (with sound off) of someone creating something beautiful.

Wow! Every time I watch a new video of yours, it's better than the last & I think, well, he's reached his apex. But, dude, you keep out-doing yourself! This is gorgeous! Also very impressed with all the little "tricks" you use, like that elaborate but effective ... jig??... you used for cutting the legs. And the clamps & bendy piece you used for sketching the curve on the skirt. For the first time I found myself thinking, this guy is so good & I LOVE these transformations, wouldn't want him to stop doing that, BUT, I'm starting to wonder what he'd do without the limits of an existing structure. That is, what would a piece look like that you designed, yourself, from the ground up?! I was skeptical when you went for so MANY shades of color, then the way you ultimately decided to do the handles just brought it all together w/out sacrificing the interest you were trying to generate. Sir, you are a master, in the old & most complimentary definition of the word. Salute!

And you show how you did it in such a peaceful and artistic way. Like... Do we need to see that woodpecker pecking at the tree in your garden? No. Do we love it? ABSOLUTELY!
    Keep it up ♥
Also: Is this your job or a hobby? This must take so much time! the way you taped up the parts you wanted to put handles on and then tried out different patterns, you had to remove and retape everytime until you found the one you liked, and every step is thought of carefully and planned and then you take the time to edit it so beautifully...
I hope you make money out of this

When I saw the dresser to start, I was wondering how you would even get it down to the wood, it had one of those strange 1960’s or late1950’s finishes (we had some like that when I was a little girl). Every time I watch one of your video’s I am amazed at the amount of talent, skill and pure artistic design talent you have. You have a great eye for what works, what is so aesthetically pleasing. I totally love the redesigned base, it not only totally suits the piece now, but its beautiful as well. I love what you did with the drawers as well, the lines are simple yet not - it took, I am sure a ton of measuring and all that work to accomplish, but it makes the piece striking. I appreciate the way you do your videos as well. Thank you for sharing your beautiful maker overs! And thank you for upcycling, recycling and seeming to use every possible bit and piece of something, its lovely to see!

Your videos are always such a treat to watch, you must put so much time, thought and effort into making them. Plus the furniture you create is so lovely. Love your channel.

I wish I could purchase some of these pieces. They are so beautifully crafted and have such a great story. It inspires me to find the beauty in the plain pieces I end up with 😂
