Just come across this gem of a channel!! Paddy, thank you so much for giving back to the golf community. So interesting to hear these insights from the best. Keep them coming fella 👍🤙
Absolutely love the detail in this lesson. I can play this shot only because I play so often from the trees and I need to keep the ball low. Amazingly this is what I’m good at because I pick a line from behind and pick a landing point and finish low to keep ball under the trees. When I’m on fairway (rarely) I am never able to get the same critical visual, I guess because I think there is no trouble in the way. Thanks again for a brilliant lesson, and congrats on another fantastic round in Scotland.
Just love your videos. I have so much respect for what you have accomplished and done for the game. Please keep them coming when you have time. I'm a 10 handicap and getting so much out of your lessons. Thanks again!
Brilliant. Could you expand on this by showing correct swing for a low shot where the ball is stuck under tree's and a low shot is required to get out from under the branches? Hitting fairway woods would be nice too.
Choke up an inch, move the ball back an inch and make a three quarter swing. I lose about 20 yards (minus the conditions). This has helped me drop enough strokes to get to single digit handicap
When you said you did it wrong by leaning into it by moving forward I “cringed” because I’ve done that too and got the dreaded hosel rocket. I don’t use the word you used 🤣
Can you do a video about club face positions during the swing, I struggle with flipping wrists through impact because my club face isn’t in position during the downswing
Hi Paddy. How do you hit it low off the tee? Assuming less speed 4 iron will go low and not far enough off the tee for a par 4. Im trying to determine how to the hit the longest possible low shot. Rgrds
Legend, thank you Padraig

Thank you padraig.
Always quality, honest instruction.
Good luck in Kent! Good luck in North Berwick as well!
Great great info, I usually swing too smooth without the clubface control, will work on the modern way for sure as I love hitting lower and slower 🙂

You call it the Goldilocks shot, I call it the 'Porridge Harrington'
Smooth swing aka slow the arms down👍🏽😉
That first shot he hit scared me
Me too 😂
Please can we see shot tracer with your videos
Low shots are definitely great after I slice or pull a drive and need to escape the trees.
Wish I watched this 24hrs ago as I tried a punch shot in comp and shanked it for this reason, cost me a double 😢
