  • Small, stocky and quietly coloured, the Willow Tit is the UK’s most threatened resident bird.
We’ve lost 94% of them since the 1970s, and they are now extinct in most of their former haunts in the south and south-east of England.
This incredible film takes you to one of the last remaining sites of the Willow Tit exploring the reason for their rapid decline and what is being done to save this wonderful bird.

They can't be as threatened and elusive as Hawfinches. They are on a different level.
