- This video is a summary/theory thing i made that goes over what remains of the canceled episode 8 of Confinement. Confinement was a YT animated series created and thrown away by Lord Bung.

Crazy how everything seemed so close yet so far.....
Aside from the weird sexual humor (which I think was a later alteration to the script influenced by Orion), it would've been cool to see everything else about this episode get animated.
I didn't realize that some of the script was out there! After seeing you summarize with all the visuals in the background makes me really sad, it seemed so close to being done. A little disappointed that it was a self contained story instead of a plot driven one, but I really loved Bung's art style and designs so I enjoyed watching everything they've done including Chronicles. Such a shame it all had to end the way it did- I hope more stuff gets out so we can piece together what exactly was possessing Connor (unless we already know and I'm daft).
And if your theory about the staff and the Connor's getting together as a resolution is true I guess that explains the... "interesting"... animation that got leaked. I'm an adult but I was a child when I began watching their content and I find it gross that they swerved the series in this direction without it ever being present prior since there are absolutely teens that follow them.
I agree with how distasteful the direction they took with ep 8 was, being a young teen back in 2018 having this be my first introduction to SCP, it does make it feel all the more gut-wrenching seeing it end on such a sour note. And just letting you know the leaked script I used has the a-plot in it which does reveal where his powers come from and stuff. I left the link to it in the desc if you want to read it, or you can wait for the ep 9 summary video I'm almost done with.
This was a great video. Well edited and you have a comforting voice. I desperately want a new animated SCP series.
Thanks I appreciate the compliments. Although I can think of about 5 SCP shows that are in the works, the only one I really look forward to is going to be made by forlornecreature.
I think this was a good summary, I haven’t looked over the thjngs that got made public yet. I am sad that this was going to be an independent character rather than a continuation of the plot from the earlier episodes.
I can tell that this episode also had a different feel to the plot, I saw some gags in there, but it seemed much more sad and serious than the previous episodes.
It’s kind of weird to have this which is so similar to the SCP-3008 episode, where Connor is alone and in a giant scp, seems like a repeat.
But I look forward to your summary and thoughts of Episode 9.
Glad you liked it. This ep was def seemed like a world building creative thing for bung, in which we got the pov of a side character who was never guaranteed anything.
I feel like piecing together ep 8 and ep9 is kind of straightforward, however, this makes me think, what about ep 10, there is for what I know no actual script or things made for that sadly, bravo, job explaining that now it just needs to be animated by someone and boom
Bung said they planned 10 ep total which included the special between ep 2 and 3. As for the story I'm pretty sure it gets ended cleanly in ep 9. And a second season as far as I'm aware would have still been on the table.

You're right, I guess the rest of his fingers are just under the bandages? Seems kinda unnecessary to have that prosthetic then.
So wait, according to your theory, does that mean that the "original" episode 9 (the one before episode 8 was split) was supposed to have a B-plot as well? (Said B-plot being the continuation of episode 8 that you theorized.)
Yes, you got exactly what I said. The 2 plot story was going to be 2 ep long, but was split into two ep with 1 plot each.
So are you doing ep9 or what?

Yes I did, I summarized and left out some parts as I didn't want this video to be me reading a script.
