This was completely and thourouly debunked by Kwite and others. Orion didn't apologise and got berated and basically kicked off every form of social media since. Lord Bung, a long time friend and I think ex or current boyfriend or girlfirned (I think Bung is trans), of Orion told their side of the story and basically took the side of Orion on their youtube community post section. People got on Bung about it, stating that Orion is a liar and could have potentionally ruined and destroy Kwites career. Bung double downed on Orion being right and then more and more people got on both of them about the whole situation. THIS I can forgive, you have to understand Bung new Orion for many many many years and something like this, even if it can be proven wrong, isnt something you would just belive as someones friend and "lover". Things cooled down for a few weeks after. People still thought Orion was shit for lying (I agree) and people were easing up on Bung since people are wrong, its normal. But what broke the camels back was that Bung, intentionally or not, released a )I think) 9 minute clip of the upcoming episode of Confinment. The clip in question was basically 9 minutes of soft-core rape porn with Conor and everone in the facility looking area doing it. We waited years and spent tens of thousands to be greeted with this clip. Now, that sucks ass, but Bung DID say that there would be 2 versions. One on pateron, uncensored, more adult, and one on youtube, more """""kid friendly"""""" or like the other episodes of confiment we already got. Again, I can see that this wasnt that bad, Bung releasing 2 version. However, after all the backlash from Kwite and this clip, Bung deleted their channel, and othter social media, and ran away with the money. Didn't return 1 penny and work he promised to create. But some of the things that happened to Confinement were fully in Bung's control, like no one forced them to animate that "4 minute shower scene." Like in the rewritten version, apparently Connor was meant to break up with Natalie just so he could date Orion's shitty self-insert, so keep that in mind.

I think it can be presumed that the Foundation gave permission to the Plague Doctor to experiment on all those Connor corpses, though I don't know why they decided to have the Connors build an underground city beneath the facility.

Huh, so this is why the animation on that first part of... "episode 8" actually seemed like the animation of the rest of the series, it's because it was stapled footage of this.
not to mention the rewriting of character dynamics by Orion. They scrapped Connors's therapist gf (I forgot her name at the moment) for Orions OC who was in that washing machine scene at the end of the nsfw version episode 8
So it looks like after every death Connor’s body would be disposed of and be given to the Doctor who would revive them in his mission to cure the pestilence. Then we would follow one of them trying to escape the trash chamber that became a city of revived corpses where Connor 2 meets the Salesman…then Bung made it into a fucking porno or something.
To think that in an alternate timeline, we would've gotten the chance to see all of these scenes in a finished version of Episode 8, had Bung and Orion not teamed up to aggravate each other's insanity and sexual perversions...

According to a leaked script for Episode 8, this is exactly what happened. SCP-049 was resurrecting all of Connor's dead bodies and then dropping them down to an underground tunnel where they built their own city.
You know the funny thing is, is that the series technically falls into public domain, scp not having a main cannon and all coupled with the fact bung deleted everything, has abandoned the project and the ip isnt owned by anybody, someone could pick up where the series left off if they wanted to, it would be WILDLY different , but it would live

I am ignoring the drama to state what I think the original plan was for episode 8 was by this info. It looks like that the original idea was that Conner dead bodies were given to the plague Doctor, who brought them back to life, but they were not the usual zombies, so the SPC site would dump the corners into a huge cavern under the site, in which they formed a Conner society. Conner prime is somehow dumped there, and tries to, and eventually escapes. The escape part is where the big ‘drama’ is. It seems to me it was a big mental block for Lord Bung on how Conner could escape. It did not help with all the stuff that happened in his personal life. I hope this helps to who’ever wants to reconstructs episode 8 in their head or actually.

Kwite made a response to the accusations, which greatly debunked Orion's claims, and proved that Orion manipulative and a liar. Orion also happened to be on the team that made Confinement, and at one point was in a relationship with Lord Bung. Lord Bung was seemingly manipulated by Orion, as Bung had defended Orion, even after Kwite had posted a response. Though after watching the whole video, Bung later realized that defending Orion was wrong, and decided to leave the internet entirely, deleting their channel and videos. The reason people think Orion was the reason Episode 8 was softcore porn, was because the community believes that Orion manipulated Bung throughout their relationship, and greatly influenced Bung's decisions, such as taking forever to finish Episode 8, and scrapping the original script in favor of the softcore porn version.
How impressive this show was both visually and professionally only compounds on how fucking unfortunate the history of the downfall is... God. fucking. damnit. dude.
This is a lot of hard work, I admired Bung because he pretty much built all of this on his own with his fans to back him up financially + other content creators to give their talents for the series. Probably won't happen but it'd be nice.
As an RUclips animator myself whose trying to make their own series, Lord Bung was such an inspiration to me. It just sucks they were given all this money to simply get tired of the show halfway through. If I was them, receiving money to live off of and just animate all day, Id be eternally grateful as thats kind of my dream. They were living my dream, but they just saw it as some sort of passtime and wait before they could spend it all and procrastinate. Edit -- Thanks for the heart, MLM!
I think it would be better to have a small team to animate a project, and turn it out much faster with hope of no internal drama. I think that's better than to rely on one animator/storyboard artist/character designer/script writer, and just hope that one person doesn't get a injury or be a asshole

Could be over whoever runs the channel not sharing profits such as with Danplan. Or, creative control issues. I think if I had to choose one for my own personal, it'd be just myself as the sole owner, but hiring staff to assist that way I don't get burnout as easy, yet am able to produce more animation than I could ever do alone.

This could've been a really cool concept. Connors don't "die" they just go to a new place and live out their weird Connor lives. Would've been nice to see it atleast. Too bad.
You can still see a weird sexual leaning in some of these, like the scene where he puts on the jet pack, including just a little too much detail. I think that kind of thing was always there and Onion just brought it to the surface.
Bung had no clue where he was going with the mystery of Conor’s immortality and he had writers block for years while taking patreon money. You shouldn’t build up a mystery when you don’t know what’s it’s building to. On top of that I never cared about Conor’s origin. He always felt like an observer to everything going on. How he became immortal didn’t matter. We didn’t need to know. What Conor had gone through established his character enough.

I imagine episode 8 would have been a semi-filler episode that would follow a plot sort of similar to that one Citadel Of Ricks episode, based on the trailer and this footage we'd focus on a newly arrived Connor corpse clone to this funky little shanty town, dealing with evil mutant Connors, giant weird Connors, etc. Personally i like to think it'd end with the Connor corpse becoming an antagonist and escaping.
Lord Bung’s social suicide is why I don’t date. I know that lots and lots of people aren’t toxic, but the idea of a romantic relationship influencing what I do outside of it sounds like a nightmare.

I get that the show being scrapped for “fetish” stuff is the incredibly popular narrative because it makes the steak taste better, but what happened was very clearly that we didn’t receive the final episode due to bung being incapable of handling the fact that he defended someone who turned out to be lying about sexual abuse, and that what was said to be the what the final episode was scrapped for was a patreon reward which was released at the time. Even if Orion hadn't been a part of the creators life, there's a good chance it would have ended in this way regardless. You don't scrap an entire show in one night over a quarrel with friends, you lose interest for doing it over the course of months and years. The creator is capable of making their own decisions and pinning it all on one person as if it were out of their hands or all because of one person? nah. The creator fell off and the Orion thing was just the last straw and an opportunity to jump ship after years of depression and art block.

Still really sucks that all this got scrapped. The idea of a character who's an undead corpse but still has human intelligence unlike your average zombie is very cool and underrated. The only other example I can think of are the Ghouls from Fallout but they're really just mutated humans that look like corpses rather than being undead.

I think it can be presumed that the Foundation gave permission to the Plague Doctor to experiment on all those Connor corpses, though I don't know why they decided to have the Connors build an underground city beneath the facility.

I'm not sure exactly why the Plague Doctor was doing this, but presumably the SCPF was just allowing him to do this project.
Huh, so this is why the animation on that first part of... "episode 8" actually seemed like the animation of the rest of the series, it's because it was stapled footage of this.

So this town of Connor’s primarily came to be as a result of his corpses being used by Plague Doctor if I’m assuming things correctly.
According to a leaked script for Episode 8, this is exactly what happened. SCP-049 was resurrecting all of Connor's dead bodies and then dropping them down to an underground tunnel where they built their own city.

What then happens is lord bung then becomes lazy and waits 3 to 4 years, making a new episode that doesn’t come out. All while his Patreon is running and making him money.
Then Orion makes a false rape accusation towards Kwite. Which he debunks, she proceeds to never apologize and lord bung takes her side. Not apologizing either.
Then lord bungs says he is gonna delete the channel in one day, then does. Releasing a unfinished, unreleased horrifying episode. Where it’s basically everyone horny for Conor and how he is hung. It’s also theorized she encouraged lord bung to put her kinks into the final episode. That’s why it seems weird.

I am ignoring the drama to state what I think the original plan was for episode 8 was by this info.
It looks like that the original idea was that Conner dead bodies were given to the plague Doctor, who brought them back to life, but they were not the usual zombies, so the SPC site would dump the corners into a huge cavern under the site, in which they formed a Conner society. Conner prime is somehow dumped there, and tries to, and eventually escapes. The escape part is where the big ‘drama’ is. It seems to me it was a big mental block for Lord Bung on how Conner could escape. It did not help with all the stuff that happened in his personal life.
I hope this helps to who’ever wants to reconstructs episode 8 in their head or actually.
The Doors go so well with this series. It saddens me that this never came to fruition.

Kwite made a response to the accusations, which greatly debunked Orion's claims, and proved that Orion manipulative and a liar. Orion also happened to be on the team that made Confinement, and at one point was in a relationship with Lord Bung. Lord Bung was seemingly manipulated by Orion, as Bung had defended Orion, even after Kwite had posted a response. Though after watching the whole video, Bung later realized that defending Orion was wrong, and decided to leave the internet entirely, deleting their channel and videos.
The reason people think Orion was the reason Episode 8 was softcore porn, was because the community believes that Orion manipulated Bung throughout their relationship, and greatly influenced Bung's decisions, such as taking forever to finish Episode 8, and scrapping the original script in favor of the softcore porn version.

As an RUclips animator myself whose trying to make their own series, Lord Bung was such an inspiration to me. It just sucks they were given all this money to simply get tired of the show halfway through. If I was them, receiving money to live off of and just animate all day, Id be eternally grateful as thats kind of my dream. They were living my dream, but they just saw it as some sort of passtime and wait before they could spend it all and procrastinate.

I think it would be better to have a small team to animate a project, and turn it out much faster with hope of no internal drama. I think that's better than to rely on one animator/storyboard artist/character designer/script writer, and just hope that one person doesn't get a injury or be a asshole

Could be over whoever runs the channel not sharing profits such as with Danplan. Or, creative control issues. I think if I had to choose one for my own personal, it'd be just myself as the sole owner, but hiring staff to assist that way I don't get burnout as easy, yet am able to produce more animation than I could ever do alone.

Maybe take a break? Perhaps spend some of the money to hire people to take on a portion of his workload? Something aside just flaking and spending money without putting in effort.

You can still see a weird sexual leaning in some of these, like the scene where he puts on the jet pack, including just a little too much detail. I think that kind of thing was always there and Onion just brought it to the surface.

Bung had no clue where he was going with the mystery of Conor’s immortality and he had writers block for years while taking patreon money. You shouldn’t build up a mystery when you don’t know what’s it’s building to.
On top of that I never cared about Conor’s origin. He always felt like an observer to everything going on. How he became immortal didn’t matter. We didn’t need to know. What Conor had gone through established his character enough.
Well if this show was still being produced "normally" the audience would inevitably question how exactly connor got is immortality.

I imagine episode 8 would have been a semi-filler episode that would follow a plot sort of similar to that one Citadel Of Ricks episode, based on the trailer and this footage we'd focus on a newly arrived Connor corpse clone to this funky little shanty town, dealing with evil mutant Connors, giant weird Connors, etc. Personally i like to think it'd end with the Connor corpse becoming an antagonist and escaping.
Lord Bung’s social suicide is why I don’t date. I know that lots and lots of people aren’t toxic, but the idea of a romantic relationship influencing what I do outside of it sounds like a nightmare.

I get that the show being scrapped for “fetish” stuff is the incredibly popular narrative because it makes the steak taste better, but what happened was very clearly that we didn’t receive the final episode due to bung being incapable of handling the fact that he defended someone who turned out to be lying about sexual abuse, and that what was said to be the what the final episode was scrapped for was a patreon reward which was released at the time.

I remember a stream where he just lazed around with Orion and I took up the moniker of the legendary 4chan and asked him why he smoked so much weed, why he treats his child so coldly and why Orion looks and sounds like such a manipulative person. Even if Orion hadn't been a part of the creators life, there's a good chance it would have ended in this way regardless.
You don't scrap an entire show in one night over a quarrel with friends, you lose interest for doing it over the course of months and years.

nah. The creator fell off and the Orion thing was just the last straw and an opportunity to jump ship after years of depression and art block.

Still really sucks that all this got scrapped. The idea of a character who's an undead corpse but still has human intelligence unlike your average zombie is very cool and underrated. The only other example I can think of are the Ghouls from Fallout but they're really just mutated humans that look like corpses rather than being undead.
