After searching 240Hz monitors I ended up ordering this one. It arrived today and just installed it 30min ago, tested a bit of CS and Valorant and bro, I was with my mouth open all the time just enjoying the smoothness of the games. After 6 years with few different 144Hz monitors this feels so much better. I'm amazed. Of course this is for the 1% or so who doesnt give damn about color accuracy etc. This is pure gaming performance right here. Thanks for the review :)
I tried the Blur Buster test on my monitor and my results look almost exactly the same... Because I have the same monitor, well not exactly the same but close enough! I bought the Omen X 25F (the FreeSync variant) a few years back now, before this review was even posted. I tried finding some more in depth reviews at the time but there weren't any, but I thought I'd take the punt anyway. Looks like it's paid off though. The only difference is that with the FreeSync model you don't get ULMB. I'm not too bothered about that though because I bought a 240hz monitor to use the 240hz! Anyway, great review man!
is there a lot of difference between the hp omen x 25 and the hp omen x 25f? I don't know if I should buy the hp omen x 25 for €200 second hand or buy the hp omen x25f for €300 new
@@pablofernandezcaro8407 Pretty sure the only difference really is that the Omen X 25 has G-Sync and the Omen X 25f has FreeSync, but is compatible with Nvidia cards.
@@CYNC33 And which one do you recommend me to buy a second-hand hp omen x 25 for 200€ or a new hp omen x 25f for 300€? and is there much difference between using a monitor with compatible gsync and one with a gsync module??
@@pablofernandezcaro8407 I've never used a G-Sync monitor so I can't really say, but I do know the difference between them. G-Sync is only for Nvidia cards, FreeSync is for both AMD and Nvidia, only as long as you have an Nvidia card that is at least 10 series or newer. So if you have an AMD card then you only really have one option, that's if you're wanting to use that function. The difference between G-Sync and FreeSync on the technical side though is really only their operating windows as far as I'm aware. G-Sync will always work within 1-240hz on this monitor. Whereas FreeSync doesn't work that way, they have different windows. Some FreeSync monitors would have a window that is 48hz-240hz, some may be 50hz-240hz, or some may be 60hz-240hz which means that FreeSync would only work within that window. It's not a big deal though, because I imagine you'll always want to be playing at over 60fps so you'll be using the FreeSync at all times if you stay within those windows. So, for the Omen X 25f, which is the FreeSync variant, it is a window of 48hz-240hz. The only thing I'm not entirely sure of though is whether there is a difference in how these two different standards perform, though it might not make a difference really. G-Sync has a dedicated module on the monitor itself which allows it to control the refresh rate of the monitor according to the FPS in game, whereas the FreeSync monitor doesn't and all of this is controlled by the graphics card really. G-Sync might have the tiniest edge, maybe it might be a tiny bit smoother, but I don't know if that would even be noticeable when playing a game. I'd say that if you have an Nvidia card and always plan to buy Nvidia cards, then get the X25, but if you have an AMD card or you're thinking that maybe you might buy an AMD card in the future then get the X25f. Either way though, I don't think you can go wrong with either. To break this all down: If you have an Nvidia card and plan to keep buying Nvidia cards then get the X25 and save some money. If you have an AMD card, or think you might buy one in the future then get the X25f.

Hi, did you find out?
@Ethan not true
@Ethan I bought one to cope but found a non F slightly after and the x25f felt terrible comparatively
Hi bro was wondering what sharpness did u use on the monitor ??
Default sharpness ✌️
what’s your contrast settings?
how do i change the brightness?
nice review as always
How to use it at 2k 240hz with my Legion 5 pro with rtx 3070 (mini displayport and hdmi outputs) ?
you need usb c to display port adapter. Not sure if it supports 240hz, but should though.
Does the x25f also have ulmb ?
Yes
@@globoychris8433 but i cant seem to enable it
I cant remember why would i pay that much money if ULMB isnt working at 240 hz...
Because the monitor already has high motion clearness without it.
That RME ADI 2 Pro tho >_>
I've seen your reviews of AOC 24G2 and MSI G24C4, maybe this too much of me to ask you but would you please make a review of ViewSonic XG2405?
The monitor seems like a worthy competitor for AOC 24G2 as both rocking IPS and 144Hz panel. Thank you.
The XG2405 was released in like 2018 bro, there's several reviews of it, why do you gotta waste his time lol
@@re4796 I was asking him to review the Viewsonic XG2405 not the Viewsonic XG2402
The aforementioned monitor has very few detailed reviews not like AOC 24G2
Please review the ASUS VG248QG! It's an incredibly popular buy and I figured it'd be the perfect monitor to review for your channel because of it's similar price and advertised quality to the BenQ Zowie XL2411K. I'd like to see where it stands and whether it would be worth the price comparatively!
Also, seriously incredible reviews. I love what you're doing and your level of detail in reviewing, comparing, and accurately displaying how each monitor is. It's incredibly useful to so many people and very wonderful to see so many others agree. Keep up the great work!
Thanks man! The VG248QG is a bit dated, but I'll think about it ✌️
@@techlessYT Totally fine and understandable. Only recommended for the sake of it's current popularity due to affordability. Appreciate the response though and good luck with future vids! :)))
That and there's not much I can actually find on youtube about it
i like your videos , plsss try lg 27gn750 ips 240hz
Hello guys!
I have a laptop and I wanna buy a gaming monitor to connect it to my laptop.
So I have 2 options: omen x 25 and xl2546k .
I mainly play cs go but I sometimes play some games with story like assasin s creed, far cry etc...
In cs go I get like 150 160 fps I m telling u this because I need to know If I can set these 2 monitors 144hz since I don t get over 240 fps
The reason why I m not buying an 144 Hz monitor instead is because I will eventually upgrade 1 day !
So guys give me tips and if I can connect these monitors to my laptop and get a good refresh rate .
Also my laptop have ryzen 7 and gtx 1650 4gb if this matters .
Thank you !
Hi guys I need help with color settings I need the best color settings for this monitor ♥️

Hey,guys .I want to invite you review our gaming monitor
Love From INDIA
Top vid
How do you compare this with Asus VG259QM?
@@assault0 why?
I am watching this Video Till the end and Thema He spoke German lol
TN is dead for me... New IPS much better.
Yeah that's probably true for most people. So few actually "need" a TN that I wonder whether Zowie can still stick to TN going forward.
Nope because IPS have again a lot of reverse ghosting, little trail and artifact, and a poor black crushed contrast that TN panel don't have.
@@Epsiloniia just buy G7
@Haimura No g7 normal for competitive games. Its Fast Its Beautiful and Big)) And FullHD TN only for 5% gamers
@Haimura Man, no one make new TN. This Omen X 25 old monitor... New esports monitor 360hz IPS only, and G7 super fast like new IPS !!! Plus G7 fastest 240hz 1440p monitor go check review.
Second.
