personally, i don't mind it at all. makes it also understandable that the testing capacity has its limits. one thing i'd like to see though are tests of the overdrive settings at various refresh rates. turns out freesync doesn't support variable overdrive yet (in contrast to the module based gsync), so pixel response times and overshoot might react differently based on the framerate they're tested at.
It didn’t make me not want to watch the video. I imagine it’s just whether or not a person is understanding of your situation or not. I’m glad you make these videos for us and I think it’s cool you have a full time job as well.
Its ok for me. Excuse me but I think that most people don't care too much about the aesthetic of the expositor, just the quality of the review, people want to hear imparcial comments with technical analysis, and you have all of that, be patient :) Dont forget to compare the Zowie with the AW2521HF as soon as you get it.
This input lag testing also looks wrong. I think blur busters made a post about how sync affects input lag. Input lag depends a lot on the refresh rate, FPS and the time you do the input. However at 240hz input lag is the least of your problems as long as you have a functional mouse and are pushing above 240hz since there's not much you can do to control it and it's so small that it could be disregarded as within margin of error and unnoticeable.
@@francopolo9713 There are too many variables to be able to include all possible input lags for all possible refresh rates. The input lag results are for the max refresh rates the monitor supports. The data is provided by RTINGS.

My XL2540 just came in this morning. I bought it after watching your video on it two weeks ago. If I keep watching your reviews I'll want to buy every new monitor you feature.
This was great and I don’t mind you mentioning how much work you put into your videos ps can’t wait for you to review the Alienware in 25” i think it’s the best size for gaming
This guy is amazing actually explaining everything and giving clarity to all the confusion for a person like me who really does not know all this things and it is so nice to have a light shine
Damn, really wanna see the XL2546S vs these and just as a stand alone review! Just about to buy a 240hz monitor and want some insight! Great review, liked and subscribed!
Those numbers on input lags are fake(rtings are wrong), xl2540 performs much better than aw2720, I just returned my aw2720 a week ago. Its is only possible for aw2720 to catch up with xl2540 input time using extreme overdrive with terrible overshoot which is unusable at all, im only using AMA high settings which isnt the highest sacrifice. Better stick to TN panels for fps gaming, ips is not ready for 240hz esports.
I just wanna say: HUGE THANKS for this review! Been staring at retail shops, blurbusters, asking friends etc for days now cuz i can't decide wich monitor to choose. atm everything is pointing at the ViewSonic XG270 tough. The review was really well done, Liked and followed! :)
I have the xg270 it's deff worth if you know how to do calibrations. It performs much better than this review insisted but hes also recognized that and talked about it already. In my own testing and comparing to the Zowie he used in this video ( because i own that one too and its sitting in portrait mode next to this one ) the Xg was far better imo for gaming and everyday use. I actually notice and greatly enjoy the HDR for watching Anime/Netflix in general and think the implementation they did here for HDR is better than anything else youd get in this price point. My specific model ( monitors vary alot sometimes from each one kinda like silicon lottery with CPUS ) can do the fastest overdrive setting with no inverse ghosting or problems while my friends can only do the 2nd one. 27inches is actually beneficial for FPS gaming despite what people try to convince you otherwise the lower pixel density actually makes it easier to get shots in and you naturally will set your monitor further away so you don't stress out your eyes and look like a moron like some pro players ( cough xantares ) who literally has his nose touching his monitor. While we were promised constant firmware updates ( which is something never done on a monitor before ) we really only got like 2-3 and I atleast haven't seen one since middle of last year but they did fix all the problems the monitor was having so I guess they considered it job done at that point. the alienware is the same panel as this viewsonic so they perform about the same but the viewsonic has more features and better OSD and options so there's literally no reason to get the alienware. The omen is overpriced with borderline no features compared to any of the monitors he tested. That leaves really the only fight between the zowie and viewsonic and having both I can say my preference is comfortably with the viewsonic although it did take me a little to adjust to that. PureXp isn't something for everyone but I personally enjoy and use the feature for certain games because it gives me CRT vibes and its nice and with setting tweaks the loss in brightness really isn't that bad for the motion clarity you're getting. I think that's about all I can say hopefully something here helps you make a decision. I dont know if there's been any new releases in the last few months but RTings still has the 165hz viewsonic pegged as the best gaming monitor maybe look into that as an option as well ( 240hz is kinda over rated if you don't have the gpu to back up the frames ).
The underrated RUclipsr!! :) Come on and keep doing videos like this, be patient and the glory will come. Hey! Look at 15:15, the strong red that Zowie has, seems to be the best of all, but on the cats picture, the Alienware wins, strange. We will be waiting for the Alienware AW2521HF review! Best regards from Peru!

really detailed comparisons. I hope your channel blows up (in a good way). You're doing the work of rtings as a one man operation. I hope you are getting your gear supplied for free.
this is exactly what i need to watch. thanks so much. buying monitor might just be the hardest thing, unlike TVs, all you need is just color HDR and res. but monitor, so much motion stuff especially gaming , there isnt much systematic way to test all this, even nowadays. but use a high speed camera and color calibrate device can give true to person result that is good enough for us to buy into.
thank you for doing this i was really hoping for a video like this with these monitors (i was not in the group of ppl you asked you to do this) still very much appreciated
I really wish your channel grow fast so that I can see PC build videos of all price range. Looking at the clarity of knowledge you give to me I am eagerly waiting for other product reviews like cases and motherboards etc. Good Luck BIijan.
This is by far best monitor review and comparsion i have ever seen on yt. Standing before 2 options Aw2521hf amd lg 27gl850 for mostly Rocket League. Will buy a pc with new rtx graphics cards.
By far most detailed video on 244hz monitors I’ve ever watched. This video was great and I enjoyed it. Although it was about 30 minutes, I didn’t really feel bored watching it. I guess one thing that I can suggest is to make your script higher because it’s kind of distracting sometimes when I see you looking below and not straight. Overall great video and well edited.
I watched countless videos for a new setting monitor. Only your channel were able to make me decide. Your advice are straight and precise ! You are quality a premium youtuber, Kep going !
@@Champion7581 Bijan tested a lot of monitors. I wanted to pick two LG 27GN850-B (the price/quality) for a double screen setup. But there is no stock in France. If it would be only one screen setup, I would go for LG 27GL950-B. Considering what I need (double screen) I will go MSI Optix MAG272CQR for my gaming screen, and Optix MAG272C for my monitoring screen. Not perfect, but on budget.
I have the AW2518H and the one fallback is when there are darker scenes in shows/movies and the dark spots become blotchy. Preset: Game Mode1 and Standard have the same result. I'm not exactly sure which element/variable causes this(I think it would be lack of HDR support, not that it is simply a TN panel). Maybe this is a comparison you could do for future reviews :) Just found your channel today and am really happy to see content that goes into good detail listing out the many variables to consider when buying a monitor. The cross-comparison and editing that go with that are all really smooth as well(even if you are still learning how to improve the technical testing right now), keep it up!
Great content mate. I loved the way you explained a lot of the jargon to us plebeians. I think a lot of reviewers forget their audience don’t necessarily work in the industry. I was able to understand your content easily. Thanks so much.
instant sub! im extremely surprised by the quality and in depth analysis shown in this video. By far better than any review from the likes of higher sub youtubers with production teams.
I'm writing this from my ViewSonic XG270 that I got yesterday and I have to say... it is quite something else. Now I just want to say that the PureXP if well set it really makes a difference, just test the UFO with that on, you will see that less brightness doesn't really matters with you get those results in the blur and ghosting department. Also set the Refresh rate to 119hz (despite this option is optimal to avoid blur with purexp on in my personal case I have a RTX 2060 so I wouldn't get to 240 FPS in barely any game, and probably not everyone could either, also there is a reason why 119 and not 120 but I don't remember xD) and I don't know if you have the update firmware at that time but brightness with PureXP is really just fine. Now I'm very interested on how to setup the colors to get that deltaE of 0.33 I'm no specialist in that department. Lastly the other good thing about the XG270 is not only that you can get the majority of the OSD options on software, although I would really appreciate to be able to change between profiles that easy although since there is a software there may be a way to make shortcuts directly in the keyboard for that, but the really game changer in my opinion is that you can actually update the monitor's firmware from the software, and you don't even need to visit a website and download something or putting a dongle in the monitor or something like that, the Elite Display Controller just recognize the installed firmware and check if there is anyone new and if there are you just update and it download and install it in a two minutes. The only thing that I would really like is a 2k resolution, hence a better pixel density, but it's okay.
Thanks for this mate. Been waiting for this video since we last spoke on Instagram! I'm still waiting for my alienware 25 inch to arrive. Hope you get your hands on the 25inch soon.
Whoa! Just found your previous review on 3 240Hz monitors where you promised a new one with Dell's offering and u just uploaded it within an hour! Great job, very thorough review. Even though you recommend XG270 where I live it is almost 25% more expensive than the AW2720HF.
Sweet, dude! Thank you! Yikes, where do you live? Check on Amazon because that's where I got mine from, unless you live in a different country. And even though it's more expensive for you, the XG270 is amaze balls, I wish it had the Alienware's design because the Alienware is just so damn gorgeous.
I don't usually write comments, but I will write it here. This channel is pretty amazing, you give the most definitive answers to many of our questions and your reviews are so detailed and cover so many aspects. I don't mind the message at the beginning at all, since it is pretty obvious to anyone watching, how much work goes into this. I just hope you get recognized, this channel deserves so many more views and subs. You will make it soon, trust me! Quality of those videos is just to good to be passed by!
my Viewsonic XG270 is on the delivery truck today...looking so forward to it. this video is very reassuring that i made the right choice.going to pair it up with an msi laptop with an rtx 2070
Holy shit. The first iranian youtuber I see do tech reviews in english. Love your videos from here(your childhood country). If you see this comment please like it😊
Nice video, but i did not notice u would compare price to what u really get in your conclusion... although the ViewSonic is the best at specs for its price, but its 1080p and the omen is 1440p, i think the extra dollar for the higher resolution is very justifyed.
Bijan Jamshidi Through Amazon or Dell? Dell on my end. And keep it up with the uploads. Your channel matches the tenets of the other tech review brands, so you will undoubtedly rise to meet them in time. Good luck and hope all is well.
You wont regret it though. I have the 27 inch alienware 240hz. Its really the best 240hz monitor for performance. And its ips too. You can slightly overclock it too in nvidia settings. I Overclocked mine to 241hz. It shows up as 239 in windows settings. But 241 after OC.
Bought the viewsonic as a companion to my 1440p monitor. Didn't know they were coming out with a 240hz 1440p monitor. Damn might have to return it for that. Thanks for the great comparison at least! Made me happy I picked the best one statistically.
If it can help you, i own the AW2518H. The IPS panel is a great improvement to me, because i needed a monitor for gaming but also with a good color range for working. If the size doesn't matter and if you want both of best world (gaming / editing), you should choose the AW2518H over the 27.
Remember: software consumes processing power. One simple software in the background might seem innocent, but add your case D-RGB softwares, communication programs such as discord, headset softwares, mice softwares, anti-virus programs, background spotify/youtube videos.
Great video man! Excited to see what you have next! Can’t wait to see the 25inch version of the alienware, also I would love to see the review of the asus 280hz monitor because I just got that one and would love to know if it sucks haha
Bijan Jamshidi yeah I ended up having to get the AW2521HFL version from Dells website because it was the only one that allowed me to get it within 3 days haha
Bijan Jamshidi I think you’re looking at the regular version, if you go on their site and click on the HFL version, it’s $100 more for the freesync premium but it delivers in like 5 days, you can pay $25 more to get it in 3 days.

This is by far best monitor review and comparsion i have ever seen on yt. Standing before 2 options Aw2521hf amd lg 27gl850 for mostly Rocket League. Will buy a pc with new rtx graphics cards.
Great video man, I'm trying to figure out what monitor to buy next since my Asus Rog is giving me issues. Love your reviews.
You are quality a premium youtuber, Kep going !
what did you choose?
Maybe this is a comparison you could do for future reviews :)
Just found your channel today and am really happy to see content that goes into good detail listing out the many variables to consider when buying a monitor. The cross-comparison and editing that go with that are all really smooth as well(even if you are still learning how to improve the technical testing right now), keep it up!
I have never seen any youtuber comparing monitors better than you..
hats off to you man.. respect++;
Such a fantastic and detailed review. Thank you good sir. Liked and subscribed!
If you're into FPS games, I recommend Zowie XL2456. I have one it's the best for FPS.
Great content mate. I loved the way you explained a lot of the jargon to us plebeians. I think a lot of reviewers forget their audience don’t necessarily work in the industry. I was able to understand your content easily. Thanks so much.
Why are the best reviewers always the most unnderated
I thought I was watching a RUclipsr with 500k subs, apparently not, your videos are like the best.
instant sub! im extremely surprised by the quality and in depth analysis shown in this video. By far better than any review from the likes of higher sub youtubers with production teams.
Thank you very much for your support! 🙏🏼
I have been curious about an upgrade on my monitor and your video definitely helped, thank you so much
Thanks for this mate. Been waiting for this video since we last spoke on Instagram! I'm still waiting for my alienware 25 inch to arrive. Hope you get your hands on the 25inch soon.
thanks man! It’s on its way 😁 5 more days
i love these videos man. Makes me really consider where to go after my asus, along with discussing with friends that want to upgrade to 240hz ips.
The Omen looks so sharp and flush
But which one would be better, ViewSonic ELITE XG270 27, ASUS TUF Gaming VG259QM, alienware 25 aw2521hf?
Same question
Please answer us
I bought the elite xg270 because I have a 27 inch pg278qr it’s 1440p I’m giving up picture quality for better gaming
I appreciate the time you took to make this video 🙏🏼
thanks man for honest review. your reviews are great unlike other who just get paid to advertise product and say noting useful.
Just got the Viewsonic for 155 dollars! I can’t wait to try it out
Now we have XL2546S WITH DYAC PLUS, the game changer for this comparison
@@BijanJamshidi Hungary, Europe. I am looking forward to your AW2521HF review when you have it. I read it has the same panel as the MAG251RX.
I’m trying to get the AW2521HF. Impossible to find with today’s inventory. Hoping it pops up soon.
Awesome content I like the fact that you're straight to the point and honest
my Viewsonic XG270 is on the delivery truck today...looking so forward to it. this video is very reassuring that i made the right choice.going to pair it up with an msi laptop with an rtx 2070
How is it?
@@michaelchristensen929 it's definitely an upgrade from my 10 year old 24 inch samsung LED monitor...27 inch is the perfect size.
Good video, need that Zowie XL2546 comparison now
Amazing.. this helps me narrow down on what I should consider buying
Thank you for working so hard on this
Good work :) Really hope you can get your hands on a Dyac+ monitor as I'm very curious of to how great it really is :)
I feel like I understand my monitor a little bit more now
love the review! thanks just picked up 25in 240hz alienware love it!!!
keep doing these amazing content, i would like to watch Gigabyte KD25F review.
Whenever I can find one! Thank you for your support!
I'm planning on building my first ever gaming PC and setup once the next gen GPU's release, this is the perfect video for me! Thanks!
Right on! You’re going to love the PC life!
Great vid bro. You should review the XL2746s next!
If only Zowie acknowledged me 😢
This was a really good and helpful video, to help me decide which one i should get!
Pls keep making this kinda amazing content
I’ll try and do better, thank you very much!
Holy shit. The first iranian youtuber I see do tech reviews in english. Love your videos from here(your childhood country). If you see this comment please like it😊
There’s another one called iPhonedo or something like that.
Nice video, but i did not notice u would compare price to what u really get in your conclusion... although the ViewSonic is the best at specs for its price, but its 1080p and the omen is 1440p, i think the extra dollar for the higher resolution is very justifyed.
Great video. I’m waiting on the AW2521HF to arrive. Ordered May 7th, expected arrival July 9. Ouch.
Thank you! & Yikes. I ordered one a few days ago. Will arrive in less than a week from now.
Bijan Jamshidi Through Amazon or Dell? Dell on my end. And keep it up with the uploads. Your channel matches the tenets of the other tech review brands, so you will undoubtedly rise to meet them in time. Good luck and hope all is well.
Dell as well. I’ll just review it and return it. Hoping their return policy is as easy as everyone else’s. And thank you! That’s what I’m hoping for 😁
You wont regret it though. I have the 27 inch alienware 240hz. Its really the best 240hz monitor for performance. And its ips too. You can slightly overclock it too in nvidia settings. I Overclocked mine to 241hz. It shows up as 239 in windows settings. But 241 after OC.
saving for the alienware rn. It's just too gorgeous
Nice video!! ,got the xl2546 and it is a very good monitor. it is hard going back to my acer predator ultrawide once you get used to 240hz .
Bought the viewsonic as a companion to my 1440p monitor. Didn't know they were coming out with a 240hz 1440p monitor. Damn might have to return it for that. Thanks for the great comparison at least! Made me happy I picked the best one statistically.
Return it and get that 1440p!
Has hecho un hermoso trabajo de investigación, muchas gracias por tu video me ha servido para decidir qué monitor adquirir.
great video I’m probably going to get a zowie in the future when I can get some extra cash I personally think they look the best
Thank you!
19:16 escape from borderlands 😂😂😂😂 I'm weak lmfao!
This review costs a lot of effort, time and most importantly, money. Great job and I appreciate your work.
Mr. Beast be like: Hmmm... IDK which one to chose.
Let's buy all of them!
Literally
The alienware monitor also has a piece of software you can use to adjust it's lighting as well as settings... Just pointing that out
Your content is really good, looking forward to your upcoming videos
Thank you! 😁
Great video! Exactly what I needed! Please test out the 25 inch Alienware monitor I want to see how that compares to the one in this video please
I already made a video on it. Check my videos. And thank you!
Bijan Jamshidi wow you’re fast haha I’m turning on notifications because your videos are phenomenal thanks!
Thank you for your support!
What brand and model is your favourite keyboard, monitor , mouse combo?
thank you for the great video it is greatly appreciated cant wait for the next review regarding the alien ware 25 vs 27
That’ll be coming some time in a few weeks! Next video comes out today.
If it can help you, i own the AW2518H. The IPS panel is a great improvement to me, because i needed a monitor for gaming but also with a good color range for working. If the size doesn't matter and if you want both of best world (gaming / editing), you should choose the AW2518H over the 27.
Flow probably means the AW2521HF being that the 2518H is a TN display.
@@BijanJamshidi yeah my bad, i mean the 2521H :)
GREAT VIDEO. On point, informative, no bullshit. Thank you!
The Omen is the only 1440p on this list, is that right?
Remember: software consumes processing power. One simple software in the background might seem innocent, but add your case D-RGB softwares, communication programs such as discord, headset softwares, mice softwares, anti-virus programs, background spotify/youtube videos.
Great video man! Excited to see what you have next! Can’t wait to see the 25inch version of the alienware, also I would love to see the review of the asus 280hz monitor because I just got that one and would love to know if it sucks haha
The AW2521HF is impossible to find right now. But once it’s in stock ANYWHERE, I’ll snag it and review. Thanks for the support! 🙏🏼
Bijan Jamshidi yeah I ended up having to get the AW2521HFL version from Dells website because it was the only one that allowed me to get it within 3 days haha
It’s 3 fricken weeks for me 😭
Bijan Jamshidi I think you’re looking at the regular version, if you go on their site and click on the HFL version, it’s $100 more for the freesync premium but it delivers in like 5 days, you can pay $25 more to get it in 3 days.
@@NikiandFikret The aw2521hf and the hfl both have Freesync premium. Many people are somehow getting this wrong and I don't understand why.
Here’s to hoping your channel continues to grow! And good luck with That Eve Spectrum. Lol
this video was uploaded on my birthday!
9:27 "if you think you're alive then you're better off dead"
Appreciate your time and effort, thanks.
Yess!! Worth the wait. Thank you very much
Thank you for a comprehensive review
