I wonder if his rambling and mocking of Donald Trump’s charges and reading his posts on Truth Social was Kimmel’s way of distancing the audience from his "joke" about RDJ’s drug addiction?
People are too sensitive. It was just a joke. These people make millions of dollars for being in the spotlight, and they can’t handle a joke at their expense??
I liked Kimmel for a bit back in the Man Show days but every since he became an interviewer I couldn't stand him. Close, but not as long as Colbert is alive.
How rude! Can’t be bothered to shake hands with your presenter
At least he didn’t slap Kimmel 😆😆😆
Does anyone know how we can take a ban towards Jimmy kimmel collectively???
RDJ is an amazing actor-it’s wild to think this is his first Oscar. He’s changed a lot in his life, and has focused on recovery and staying clean. That’s why he’s my favorite actor, and why he was a role model for me when I was struggling myself. Jimmy Kimmel is literally one of the least funny people on television, in my personal opinion. Congrats on your Oscar, RDJ!
I'm an alcoholic with years sober. One we thing we learn to do in recovery is to accept but never forget our destructive past. ALSO, WE LEARN TO LAUGH ABOUT OUR PAST. We're comfortable in our own skin again and love ourselves today just as much as we love our families and friends. Our past got us to where we're at today. I promise you, Robert Downey Jr was not hurt by these jokes. He'll be alright. The dude has the best life ever! Winning Oscars and sh*t! There's no doubt he embraces his past mistakes. People need to lighten up. Life is a lot more fun when you learn to laugh yourself. Trust me 🏆
I think after that remarks its a goodbye for kimmy dum dum dummm ✌️🤣
Kimmel has always been a chince.
He reminds me of that one kid in Jr high school that was always peeling the scabs off of colorless conversations. Like embarrassing others was the panicle of success and the only way to gain attention for himself.
Just showed how desperate for any kind of laugh Jimmy Kimmel could get. Kimmel would have to look up to see the soles of Robert Downey Jr’s shoes.
That's why Conan is the best late night show host
That's was low blow Jimmy Kimmel ..He should have congratulations him on over come the odds .. That a great comeback story for a movie .
Bravo, RDJ ‼️
Apparently, the jokes were approved ahead of time, so everyone can calm down. He played along.
Nobody knew RDJ hadn't won an Oscar at the time of Kimmel's joke?
Why is this new ? Kimmel has made a career taking low blows - I will never watch anything that involves Kimmel
Now we see why Sarah left him
To be fair. Sarah also was guilty of anti asian jokes. Google it.
Making a joke at somebody else's expense is the sign of a shitty comedian.
Robert DowneyJr has more class in the tip of his fingernail that Kimmel could ever hope for.
How does Jimmy Kimmel still have a job. He is atrocious! They should give his show to Guillermo!
It's also not a joke to used by ur doctor for kickbacks rather than care about ur health
RDJ drug jokes are off limits. That man has overcome what would have killed most of us. The Ironman should be treasured!
I have never knocked a comedian for "going too far", but this was.
We all know, *KIMMEL* used to enjoy long walks on a beach, on an island formally owned by a man named *JEFFREY* 🤔
So what??Who cares?
@@Cam-zv1jq I’m guessing you would’ve or were there with him 🤔
FAKE NEWS
@@Cam-zv1jq Nonce
That’s how comedians get slapped in the freakin face 😂
Kimmel has the charisma of a flat tire.
Kimmel needs a reality check and get out of his own way of his own arrogant ego!
Rdj a 🐐
A comedians job is to tell jokes. Very few have gone their entire careers without offending someone in some way. Shows how times have changed. There used to be televised celebrity roasts…..
Yeah, that "joke" was a low blow, not worthy of the usual intelligence of Jimmy Kimmel.
RDJ is a true warrior for overcoming his past struggles. Love ya 3000 RDJ keep doing what you do best ✌️
Hope Kimmel doesn’t come back ever again in the Oscars.
Kimmel is THE joke
Jimmy Kimmel has consistently demonstrated to be a complete jerk
Even if this was something you could joke about, Kimmel is nearly 20 years late with it. Subject matter aside, it just comes off hacky.
Can’t believe people actually like Kimmel such a clown
Yeah, I thought that was pretty low of Kimmel too. He had several jokes that didn't land, at all. Could have done without the whole John Cena thing too.
100
Ya the John Cena think was tres weird lol....like wtf 😂. I think that they are trying to be edgy or exciting or something but it didn't land all that well. At least there were no slaps or punches.
Way to take the high ground RDJ! You are loved…
This is the last time I want to see this Kimmel dude.
The fact RDJ was sitting there being nominated after the struggles he went through in the past should ONLY be a motive of inspiration…Kimmel is just a big asshole
Does no one remember how Jimmy Kimmel started his show the first couple of episodes or he was clearly on something. Before the weight loss and hair, transplants, and all that Botox and make up.
RDJ brought it up himself in his acceptance speech.
I'm a huge jimmy Kimmel fan, but that was uncalled for. Do the right thing, Jimmy.
I wonder if his rambling and mocking of Donald Trump’s charges and reading his posts on Truth Social was Kimmel’s way of distancing the audience from his "joke" about RDJ’s drug addiction?
Jimmy Kimmel was the worst thing about the oscars. Really dumb jokes.
He's the worst thing about every thing he takes part in.
Kimmel is trash. RDJ is fricking Ironman and bad ass.
He harassed Malala last year. Just stop having him as the host it's that simple!
RDJ is such a great actor and has a personal story of redemption that should be celebrated rather than mocked. And Kimmel, well, he is just an idiot
People are too sensitive. It was just a joke. These people make millions of dollars for being in the spotlight, and they can’t handle a joke at their expense??
It’s a humiliation ritual.
I liked Kimmel for a bit back in the Man Show days but every since he became an interviewer I couldn't stand him. He say the most socially inept/rude things to people I've ever heard on his talk show and then he laughs like its all good fun while the other person looks at him like I'm never coming back here.
Y’all know these two don’t like each other… they’re PROS under the same Disney contract. What’s so hard to understand.?
