I love this printer. I’ve had it for about four days now. My only complaint is the camera. I hope someday they allow us to upgrade to the same camera that comes with the X one carbon I can watch my print from my phone, but it’s not a live picture but more 10 second snippet’s. There’s not a lot of documentation on how to get the camera up and running on the software but I got it figured out. Like I said, I hope someday they let us upgrade to a much better camera. Other than that it’s flawless for me.
@@tomdeleon6538 It has been over a year since I made that post and several firmware releases later I'm not all that concerned with the P1P. At first, you could not connected to the camera once you were away from your local network, that's a thing of the past now. I can look in and see how the print is doing even though the frame rate of the camera is not as good as the X1C ( that I now own as well since that post). I have also upgraded my P1P to a P1S and I still think this is an awesome Printer
Anyway you can print some parts to check for accuracy? They say their printers are accurate within 7 microns and I've yet to see people do any tests verifying it.
To be fair, I ordered a P1P. And even though it hasn’t arrived yet, I would say, if you don’t NEED it, don’t buy it. You could get 2x Neptunes for the same price as a P1P. Even cheaper considering Bambu charges tax and shipping. Plus I fully expect by this time next year someone else will release a cheaper core XY
After looking at the reviews and comparisons of P1P vs X1C, it comes to the conclusion that lidar is not needed, because comparing to printed models, they say that it is the same.
When you say it's the same file, did you actually slice the model for the X1C in Bambu Studio, then put the same 3MF into both the X1C and P1P and hit print? Is there no error using the same print file albeit P1P lacks the aux fan and with different build plate?
What I'm wondering is, if I _enclose_ my soon-to-have P1P and use the optional parts fan connected in the same way as the Carbon, should I tell the slicer that it is a Carbon?
Can you buy any nozzle like in bulk like I do for my artillery printer it uses the volcano nozzles just wondering if you’re stuck buying their nozzles ?
You have to use their nozzles and hardware. They use a proprietary hot end. Also, the hot end is different between the P1P an the X1C so the parts are not interchangeable.
@@netlizard1 well I bought the x1 waiting for it should be here Wednesday, I see the p1p they have a conversion kit so it can now take the harden nozzle
Thanks for the video. These are the comparisons I want to see before buying. I'm still torn between the carbon and the p1p. I think it will come down to how often I think I would print in higher temperature materials and if the lidar, and display are worth it. I also want to know how much (if any) quieter the carbon is since it has an inclosure. Of course you can print or add on panels for the p1p.
To me, it came down to a matter of price. If you’re only printing, PLA and PETG the enclosed box is not a dealbreaker for me. I want to buy the AMS, and when I get done I will have spent about $400-$500 less.
I believe this is greatly minimizing the differences and the capabilities of both of these. I wouldnt expect any difference in print quality with PLA, but most people evolve and want to print with other materials. Try comparing ABS and TPU between the two.

Why not just buy a indoor ring camera and place it in front of the printer, booooooom you can watch when ever you wanted..

Thanks!!! Have both coming in this week.
My P1P is stateside now too. Guess I might have it before New Years 🎉🎉🎉
Great feedback
the p1p doesnt have the aux fan like the x1c does, so it's a little slower, give that minimum layer time is 8s vs 4s. u didnt notice a difference tho?

I just pre ordered the X1C today, have to wait until the end of March to get it, ugh!!! Lol
thanks for the video, but u didnt say which one you would buy? is the x1c worth the extra $300?
You mean the extra $950? Maybe the costs were different a year ago
So which would you recommend I get? I only use the elegoo Neptune printers currently but these printers look amazing
Personally I would get either or. They're both amazing machines.

@@HDfoodie I like the idea of printing different colours in 1 print that's why I'm tempted to buy 1 of them

After having printing with both printers, I would have to agree with you.

Nice video! These are always great.
thank you kindly
Great video man. Question, can you load four rolls of the same filament so when one roll is empty it will just move on to the next roll? Thanks.
Yes, you can.
Do you know if you can replace the p1p screen for one the same from x1 carbon
can you use the P1P Off line?

No?
Great vid brother
Appreciate it
@@NikkoIndustries still waiting for u to send me the printer 🤣🤣🤣
would the top of the x1 fit on the pip
have you started tweaking the profiles a little?
Have you played with PETG and ASA on yours yet?
playing with it today. doing a full review video soon
I’ve had no issues printing PETG on my P1 P
Bro is it possible to use the X1 screen on the p1p?? Does it work well??
You cannot use the x1 screen on the p1p
Do you need glue for the p1p?
I cant find the Dry Bones model anywhere. Can you give a link to it?
it's not available yet on my website. it's releasing in january

Glad to help! Personally I like the X1 Carbon. But performance-wise, they're both the same

Use rubbing alcohol I never used glue and I've print alotttt
Can you print multiple colors/materials at once?
the AMS system allows you to do that
Some people mean, the P1P is a little bit more silence.
Is that correct?
not really. it's not that much more quiet than the X1

Why would TPU be any different? TPU prints well on bog standard bed slingers like the Elegoo Neptune series.
Let alone PA-CF Carbon fiber, which I think the X1 is named after?
You need to check your exposure bro.
Try to print an accurate square 🤣
