Yes she’s the one who seems to have the guitar chops, she really shows that in the new live song ‘Salt in the Wound’.
I also feel more emotion from her and kinship to her. Her solo material could have come from my own life and soul, it’s uncanny the similar problems and demons she writes and sings about. Especially ‘Claws in my Back’. She shows more serious emotion openly here than the others. I wish her all the best.

Lucy's voice in this performance was High Quality like the boys all always sound good but she absolutely murdered the big finish on this one

She's definitely my favourite. After night shift and body to flame I became a fan.
All three are great vocalists, but Lucy is an all time great singer. Like Aretha Franklin level. She will get her just dues eventually, rest assured.

i love how much on the original track you can hear Lucy the most on the last verse but in this performance they decided to all sing it loudly together and i just love that for them because it’s good to change it up sometimes but every time i hear the track i always tear up when Lucy brings it all together at the end

They together are wonderful. But Julien Baker is very underrated, perhaps because she is more shy and does not have as commercially viable image as Phoebe and Lucy. She is a wonderful singer and the best musician of the trio. She makes me vibrate.
Julien has always been my favourite of these three, but all of them together brings zero complaints from me.

They're as good together as they are separate :), all three have their own solo work highly recommend

I saw Julien Baker live last summer and she absolutely shreds I can’t imagine seeing all three on the stage at once.
Julien’s voice always gets me. Adding Phoebe and Lucy to that is just not fair to any other band right now trying to do something similar, because it just won’t ever touch this.
I Love Phoebe. I love Julien. I love Lucy. I love the backing band. I love this performance. I love Boygenius. I love the synchronised kiss at the end. I love the fact that I can listen to any one of these 3 talented musicians and the World is that little bit more bearable. Peace!
