Huge shout out to the supporting band: Tiana Ohara with the delicious walking bass line, Madden Klass showcasing the beauty of syncopation and simplicity, Sarah Goldstone holding the sonic backbone of the outro, and Jay Som who played three different instruments with infectious joy!
I’m a 57 year old dude who first saw the boys in 2018 in Boston and love watching their journey. Great performance. They deserve all the accolades they are getting.

I was going to make an Everclear joke, but I ended up listening to this 20 times in a row and falling in love with the bass player. Dang it! All the best elements of everything I love in music put together in one song... that's crazy. The groove, the bass-lines, the screams, the head-bangs, the drops, the builds, the harmonies... come on
Their instrumentals are fantastic, but what really makes them over the top exceptional to me is their harmonies. Their voices just mesh together perfectly! I also love that they sound as good live as in the studio.
Okay #SNL audio engineers, you redeemed yourself on this one. Julien's shredding at 1:45 was so f&#%ing rock & roll! Hope that beautiful guitar was caught buy the same person who caught Prince's guitar at his hall of fame performance ;) and no one screams better than Phoebe!
I have listened to a lot of rock music in my life, but I have never believed the emotional truth of rocking out as much as when they do it in this song. Like, I believe that is how they feel. That they are expressing a real and true and raw feeling as distinctly as possible. In addition to the words and beyond them. Phoebe screams and they all strum their guitars as hard as they can and as they do it they are laying bare something vital about being alive. I love this. Thank you for sharing.
