@@shawnm5653 Except the same album lost a larger award to taylor swift who is mostly apolitical, and when obama put this song on his playlist the writer called him a criminal. Don't think they necessarily fall in line with the grammy's voters' ideologies, even if that were how awards were chosen. This reads more like you're bitter about a grammy award of all things, and trying to make it into some conspiracy to cope. It's really quite sad, especially when you try to spread negativity under random fans' comments.

The point is, this is just plainly not rock genre music, and if you're not willing to admit that, then we have nothing, and it's not worth arguing. You're wrong about the rock genre by the way, that's just a plain fact, nothing idealogical to it. Rock instrumentation, rock format, rock music. Hell, it's not even the least classic rock-like subgenre to be considered rock. Don't have to like it but that don't change the genre. Though to be honest if that political ideology you're complaining about gets under your skin I'm surprised you like rock at all.

Julien saying “music saved my life” made me tear up. Been a listener of her music for years and some songs were really a hard to listen to. Even the other boys’ song for Julien (Graceland Too by Phoebe and Please Stay by Lucy) are songs that I can’t finish without crying. Seeing her keep going, being happy with Boygenius and now getting a recognition made me really proud of her.
I wish that last girl kept talking. Music saved my life everyone can be in a band. Best message of the night!

This was the pre-show segment that happens in a different room. A lot of the winners weren’t even there. For a few seconds l thought the boys were no-shows as well. Thrilled to have been proven wrong with that delightful entrance.
