The CW-01 is iconic. I'm more kind of Team Lunch Box. But I don't know anyone bein addicted to this chassis who had left it in standard. So why not changhing it to an aluminum one. Now I'm interested in the whole kit to make a steet racer. For Offroad I prefeer plastic. Thanks for showing and the value informations👍
My opinion is let the front braces in place. It looks as if they protect the chassis in case of a chrash.

@@s13kuminachu yeah it's definitely heavier now, one viewer said he weighed his and it's exactly 2x the weight of the plastic chassis.
I can fit a standard 2S square pack in, just have to loosen the battery tray screws a tad to make the space. Alternatively, I use round 2S lipos I found online, I have a video on them too.

With that brushless motor what's the top speed?

Haven't checked it yet, Brad. I've got a couple more hop ups to go, then it's time to start measuring speed! 👊

What are you going to do with the leftover chassis?

Gonna keep it as a spare, the wife drives a Lunchbox (aggressively), I think we might need it one day. 😉

Not that I've seen, but I think we all kinda want to see it happen! 👍🏻

@@poorboysrc I'd love to build one, but I don't know crawlers enough to know which parts to get to build one.

@@Louisxs650 Axial axles are pretty common and most hobby shops should have parts. It would be smart to get like, an sCX10 transmission, axles and start fabricating from there. You'd have to 4-link it, front and rear, with the motor/trans mounted in the chassis. It'll take some creative thinking, but it's doable.
