There are some amazing parts available for RC cars nowadays. I recently bought some parts from RC Channel in Taiwan for my XR311. The full metal kit includes some fantastic quality machined parts. Of course the original Tamiya kit is very basic and these parts aren't necessary but they are available and I love them so that's the most important thing!

@@BlackSeaRC I agree, they might be more pricey but well worth the price in quality of workmanship. I much prefer the metal, don't get me wrong plastic has it's place, but I would rather have metal for the suspension parts.

Who cares if it improves it’s performance, guaranteed IT’s tougher and it’s just awesome.. I’m getting ready to build my first lunchbox. I’ve wanted one since I was 10 back in 1989. Might have to get one of these down the road and piece a second one together 😁

come on! I wanted to see it made up lol.. I have been working on my own CNC twin deck chassis for the CW01 as I think its an amazing model and just so much fun.. I have seen these but I had a stamp press chassis for my WT-01 and just thought I could do better so I have one coming out for the WT-01 in a few weeks and that got me thinking about the CW01, and the ORV lol Cannot wait to see the rest of this

Even if it doesn’t improve the performance, the pumpkin definitely deserves a bit of bling 😁 The Pumpkin is also my favourite rc and my first hobby grade rc back in the early 90’s, I love it! Love the channel, can’t for an update on the Pumpkin 👍 stay excellent 🎸
Interesting! I've built a lunchbox when it was originally released back in the day and that chassis would have been the ultimate hop-up back then! So looking forward to seeing that on the truck👍👍
I remember breaking my chassis back in 1991, jumping the Pumpkin way higher than it should be jumped, lol! This chassis would have been a game changer back then.
