Carolyn, my kids put peanut butter into a zip lock baggie. They add half the brownie batter into the pan, snip the corner off the peanut butter and pipe it on the batter. Add the rest of the batter and bake as usual. Delicious!
These daughters of your are so precious, what a great job young ladies. Definitely making these. Blessings to you All !!! Make more of these videos !!! ✝️💟
Such a beautiful family. God bless your sweet children. I will try to do this with my neighbor “grandchildren “. They love to be in my kitchen. We made homemade biscuits and cornbread together so brownies will be an awesome treat. Thank you girls. Keep up the good work. This video will be an encouragement for other young ladies to get in the kitchen and get cooking. 👩🏼🍳 🥣 💙
We made these today! My 6 year old loves to help with baking. We made some jars of dry mix a few days ago and she was so excited to help me with that as well.
I'm doing this with my grandchildren today. Everybody agreed, even the children, that they are very cute, and it looks like a fun recipe to do together. 2 cups of Sugar 1 cups flour 2/3 cuo cocoa powder 1/2 tsp Baking Powder 1/2 tsp salt Then you can screenshot this and have it for your records, if you don't have a pen with you, since it's not in the description box.
Please keep doing videos with the kids! They did such an amazing job😍💕 I love it and it’s so encouraging for Mamas to get their littles involved. I know it’s encouraging for me, Mama of three under 4. There needs to be more things out there showing how kids can be such amazing helpers (they love to help) and not an inconvenience. Thank you for getting your sweet kiddos involved and encouraging all of us to do the same. I know you have encouraged me so much in this!!! Love y’all ♥️
Loved the video with the girls helping. We are making the brownies this evening and it took about 50 minutes for them to make because they weren't done in the middle. Very good taste though. I can't wait to show the video to my granddaughter when she visits so we can make these together.
My take a way???? You're kids are so adorable! Never seen so many girls work together in the kitchen and be so productive and well mannered. 🤣Certainly not me and my sister. I'm a brownie person so I'll give it a try and if I like it I'll defiantly be putting several on my shelf😁
Beautiful girls and great cooks and helpers! I made the brownies today using 1/2c. Melted butter + 1/2c. Peanut oil instead of the cup of melted coconut oil. The batter was much runnier and required about an hour to bake, but the results were amazing. The best brownies I've ever had. Thanks for the recipe!
Great job girls!!! Love seeing the children helping out, so important for them to learn to care for themselves and others. Great job Carolyn and Josh for all that you teach others.
Best video of the entire internet! Love that your teaching your kids these things. My mom passed when I was 14 so keep each day with patience and love because we do not know gods last day for us on earth ❤️
I love this, I am definitely have to make up some for the pantry shelf. This is the sort of thing that I normally do for Christmas presents. My family really likes homemade things.
Omg! This was soo awesome! These girls appear to be organized and experienced in the kitchen. You've done and are doing a fabulous job with your children! The world needs a whole lot more of this! Resourceful and will go far and do well in life. This was dessrt for the soul! Thank you Caroline.
What an adorable viedo! Such precious children ! This was so refreshing to watch those sweet little faces and to hear their little voices. Thank you so much for sharing your family with us!
Aww... so sweet seeing your girls learning and doing the wonderful things you've taught them! What a beautiful bunch of young ladies you and Josh are raising!
The girls did a fantastic job! I’ve got to make those brownies!!! I’m going to show my granddaughter this video and have her make the mixes and brownies. Thanks for sharing!
Carolyn, girls did a great job and they are so adorable. Thank you for the easy recipe and for my part I give mine to try: Mayo cake: Ingredients: - half a cup of potato flour - half a cup of cake flour (or other wheat flour) - a cup of sugar - 1/3 cup of mayonnaise - 4 eggs - 2 tsp of baking powder Recipe: Mix everything with a food processor. 3 minutes is completely enough. Even sugar doesn't have to be completely mixed - it's even better. Then pour it into the mold (I usually have smeared with oil or butter and sprinkled with breadcrumbs, but some people use flour or parchment at all) and bake at about 350 Fahrenheit degrees for 50 minutes. Then you can take it out - for sure is ready. Note: You can prepare dry ingredients as a mix in jars as in the video. This cake always comes out. It's delicate, simple, fast, and tasty for everyone. Of course, you can freely modify them - add cocoa to the part and have such a nice mixed dough. You can also add a little more flour and arrange the apples on top - then we have apple pie. You can add poppy seeds or coconut shreds and something else comes out. I often add lots of different things, but it's just a matter of imagination. This cake can be modified in a million ways. From a hint - with coconut flakes and orange flavor it is good for people who like slightly sour cakes. Bon appetit!
They did do an incredible job! Lovely young ladies learning to preserve and prepare one of their favorite family treats. Well done. Hope to see more of them soon!
A big Thank you to Hannah for showing us how easy it is to make 🙂 Seeing you have a go encouraged my 8 year old to try it out as well. He did such an amazing job! He felt so proud when he got to see everyone's eyes light up when they took their first bite! Thank you for sharing this delicious recipe! Blessings to you and your family from South East Queensland, Australia!!
Oh my gosh! What a great video! Love seeing your girls follow in their mom's footsteps! My heart is full after watching how much you have taught them and how they know their way around the kitchen at this age. God Bless!
I LOVE...the new videos you are doing with your children! I always baked with my 3 sons now I am baking with my 3 grandsons. Since they were little they have been up on the stool mixing and pouring and feeling so proud. I have decided that in their Christmas packages I am going to make jars of brownie mix and cookie mix I'm just so excited and delighted thank you for sharing this keep sharing more I love the different ages of the children from the little to the older and keep going you're doing such a great job mom!!!
Great recipe video - and, if I may say, you have a wonderful family. So refreshing to see a happy family. Thank you for sharing. All the best to your wonderful kids, husband, and you too.
Thanks for sharing. Please put more of these type of pantry stable thing out. I'm to make these for sure. Your channel is such a blessing. Your girls are beautiful.
This looks like a really great mix and the girls did a really good job. Absolutely loved Hannah's outfit look like a dress not positive but with the Stars and stuff on it I almost wish I had one like that or a shirt out of the same kind of material.. saved this one. Gave me some ideas about what to do for a Christmas present for my kids that are moving away from me and going to be on their own and I was thinking about a food box thing including some shelf stable meal Time type things and these brownie mixes would go along with it really great maybe throw a couple bags of chocolate chips in and some nuts and then they have some whole meals and some desserts. They can all cook and do fine but everybody needs some easy things now and then.
Carolyn, I am proud to say the hubs (Mark) did an excellent job at teaching our sons (now 26&24) to cook and bake at young ages as well! You are raising your family to be such wonderful adults!!! ❤️ y’all, Kristy in Missouri zone 6b 😃🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Would love to see more recipes like this! I have been looking for more " healthy" replacers for " box mixes" or " convenience" items!
I completely agree!! ❤️
Ditto! Thank you for all your help and great ideas!💕
Carolyn, my kids put peanut butter into a zip lock baggie. They add half the brownie batter into the pan, snip the corner off the peanut butter and pipe it on the batter. Add the rest of the batter and bake as usual. Delicious!

Thank you, I used vanilla oil and it seemed to cook a lot longer than the coconut. I'm glad I'm not the only one.
Oh my goodness, the cuteness of your girls!! How precious! Great video!!❤
Too cute! So nice to see some of your children. They seem terribly competent--like their mom. 🌷
My daughters are the same age as yours and I know they will love making the mix while watching the video.
Oh my gosh the girls are getting so big! They’re so cute! What a great recipe to have!
I do the same with my pumpkin bread recipe and Pancake recipe. Making your own mixes are the best. Also super cute to see the kids do it.
Thank you for this recipe. Looking forward to having this ready the next potluck that is sprung on me.
Those kids are so cute and smart. I bet you're very proud of them. It's good to have a mother that teaches their children. I can't wait to try them
