*GOOD NEWS!! I’m working closely DIRECTLY with GVM App developers to improve the software. In just 1 day, they very quickly addressed to the issues mentioned in the video, like, text is too small, lines were too close and other things.
I already installed the App on the teleprompter tablet and it’s a HUGE improvement, but they’re not done yet. Many little tweaks to come on later updates.
Bottom line is: As of right now, this currently updated App with this teleprompter is now 100% ready to use professionally with the basics we need!
When you get your GVM QL-LD teleprompter, all you need is to download the new update into the tablet and you’re done!*

Hey there - great review, thanks so much. I just purchased based on you review ? Also, how do I update the app itself. is the latest version 1.2.4? I can't get the remote to work via Bluetooth. Also, it's very noisy so I'm hoping to find another way for the talent to operate. Is there a generic teleprompter remote that you know of? Thanks again for the great review!
Hi there, thanks for the feedback. I believe you update the already installed app via WIFI on the tablet. Or you can download the App manually at the Google play. I don’t remember 100%. I review a lot of items lol. I can’t remember everything from top of my head unless I set the whole thing up again and check.
Yes, like you saw in the video, the remote is noisy and almost useless. I do it manually or using a Bluetooth keyboard.
I wish that tablet had HDMI. So I can easily run my phone in there mirrored with more teleprompter Apps.
@@ArtVideoProductions Thanks for the response. I got it all up and running and it works great with the A7S3 and a 300mm Tampon. Getting lovely results and the talent can still see their script from 20 feet away! Cheers again

You just get the plate that fits your tripod.

Can I get this without this monitor so I can get a 17" seetec instead? Do they sell the teleprompter by itself (no monitor)? If so, where can I get it ?

They only sell it with that monitor. Why would you spend another $600-700 on a monitor for this teleprompter?

Good question. The reason is that I am using the seetec monitor also as a confidence / zoom meeting motitor in the teleprompter itself connected to my atem mini extreme.
This way I have it as a teleprompter during my meetings, then switch to the zoom participant screen....this way I am always looking at the participant since the camera is behind the glass.
I wish they could sell it without the monitor.
Would you know where I can get the vesa braket for the rods? Maybe I can take another teleprompter and add that attachent.

How did you install elegant prompter, my GVM tablet won't let me install any apps.
I had to download from a computer, then install via USB. You won’t need it anymore. The updated GVM App solved everything.
How do you flip the contents when using the teleprompter (for recording video) but utilizing another app, such as PowerPoint. The only app that flips the screen is the teleprompter app.
Anything wrong with the original App? Did you update it?
@@ArtVideoProductions Nothing wrong with the original app, I'm just not loving using a teleprompter app. I'm used to presenting using PowerPoint and would love to continue doing so, but this time recording video instead of presenting in front of a class.

@@ArtVideoProductions We currently have an app installed to view PowerPoints, but when used on the teleprompter, it is flipped upside down. How do you use the apps downloaded with the teleprompter?

What type of tripod holds the weight of the teleprompter?
You don’t want a cheap tripod for this. A tripod rate to hold 17lbs and above and with a GOOD video head is recommended.
Does the software support the Arabic language?
