Just got the GVM 650B pro. It's kinda ok in terms of build quality (ballast seems kinda cheap). But the problem is 650B pro is advertised to have ~21000 lux at 1m, but my Seconic only registers 14000. So I paid for 650W light and got 400W version performance :(.
@@esplak 600W CoB ones - yes. Some are spec'd to 16k (in theory). But GVM still says on their page GVM650B Pro is 21k Lux. And one review on YT claims it its (measured). But Godox F600Bi panel (which is 600W) has 19k lux at 1m at 5600K.

not related, but I need help ASAP! I am new to all this, when I try to record my computer seems to NOT get all the video. Example: when I record a 1 min. video it cuts it to 10 sec. . this just started today and I don't know what to do. I don't have much at all stored on my computer so I should have the room, what is happening, HELP!!!
Seems like GVM's light produces more natural and accurate colors. On the other hand, the Aputure seems more greener. What is the reason for that, also does any light offer green or magenta shifts option?
After watching comparison video, I've decided to go with GVM. It's not only cheaper but also offers as much as the aperture. So it's really a no brainier.
The Aputure offers CRMX Lumen radio & World-Class App, GVM it's only for users who is looking budget friendly option. But overall, it's relatively good in terms of lighting quality.

Lawsuits in the us already happened that said AI work can’t be copywrited or monetized because it’s taking things from everywhere. More importantly, I don’t think anyone who doesn’t want to actually make content and just have a machine do it should make content.
The GVM is great. Just used it all week for interviews 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. everyday. not a single issue and only needed to run it at 7% with a 6x5 scrimmed diffusion.❤❤❤ I REALLY hope they release a 1200x too!! Would be great when doing interviews against super bright windows. The new fresnel lens is also decent helps if yo the need a little more output.

From what I read elsewhere all bicolor 650 are more or less 14K-15K

There is no reason to grab this light strictly for RUclips. Grab the Nanlite FC500b. RUclipsrs don’t need full production lighting

Which fresnel do you have? I've heard a lot of the fresnel lenses don't fit this light?
