I never have really been a Kubota fan but this tractor is starting to grow on me.
Excellent video I enjoyed the ride. Just shared this one on our Kapper Outdoors Facebook page it might help a little anyway. It was nice to be watching someone else bush hog LOL.
Thank you for riding along! And I really appreciate all the extra support you have shown me :)
@@dehavenfamilyfarm No problem I enjoy your stuff! Too bad you weren't so far away!! Best wishes!
Hot and dry here. The Kubota is looking good...👍
We just keep getting useless showers here... Kubota has been busy doing chores everyday 🙂
yeah were gonna plan getting one replace the $139,000 newholland t5.115 a 115hp and few years and getting a $99,000 m6-141 a 141hp with pto front 3point hitch, loader, bucket, forks, blade and 10foot snowblower next replacement tractorwich pretty cheap
Thanks for the ride along & updates. It's been hot & humid most of the days then dumped rain on us yesterday & last night. Stay safe.
It has been hotter than normal here. Thanks for watching 🙂
Nice work with the M4, it sounds and runs good, thanks for the video.
Thanks Jan! It has been doing a lot of chores lately, and working out well 🙂
Looks good... I spent part of the day yesterday using that one I just bought! I sure had fun mowing briers and brush in the pasture!
Hopefully you avoid those swirling clouds!!! I hear they've been sticking around your area..
@@GosselinFarmsEdGosselin they've been too close!
Things always look nicer when the overgrown brush and grass are mowed down. Are we going to see some video footage of your new toy? 😁
@@dehavenfamilyfarm the kubotas sures idols nice better then my towns t5 115 newholland its so racketdy nosiey plus its been problems when useing bush hog mowng tall stuff down thing stalls wich its good having the reliable kubota
@@dehavenfamilyfarm If I mow anymore with it I will make a video. Yesterday I was just in a hurry!
We have been rotoring. (As we call it). Off and on the past week ,also have edges and some old pastures with rocks that crop out. Stay on your toes most of the time.. We use a ford 2000 with a ford 5 foot cutter we are old school with open station. And yes it is hot. Great videos
Thanks! I remember those days lol Years ago, all I had was a 40hp open station with a small cutter on it. It would take forever. Now I am spoiled 😁
Bush hog is doing a great job! We can't seem to string any nice days together either.
It has been a tough year to make any decisions- when to mow hay, when and if to water vegetables.. I spent 2 hours watering yesterday only to have it pour overnight lol
Making hay was great in june. Glad first cut is wrapped up because we are getting a not so friendly dry hay forecast anytime soon either.
Good to hear from you Ted! How about making us a video??? 😁 Hope you and your family are well!
My friend, Love your new video! Stay connected!
looks good, cleaning up the bush line nice
Thank you! I always enjoy getting done because it definitely does look much nicer :)
It’s that time of year 🙂
Yup, time to make things look nicer! I hate when everything gets overgrown lol
Nice tractor, just test drove a M4-071 deluxe today.! It's a bit out of my budget right now. Soon though ☺️, I hope! What size mower are you running,, 6 foot or bigger?
How do you think the m4 71 would do with a 12ft batwing cutting tall thick grasses and brush? Would you think it would be under powered. Thanks
Hope the Kubota is living up to expectations? Your weather has been similar ours here in the UK, generally wet and miserable and then slowly improving but throwing an odd shower in the mix just to spoil a run of a few fine days.
So far, it has been a very good tractor. There are a few minor things I wish were different. I plan to do a review on the tractor soon!
@@dehavenfamilyfarm I shall look forward to that young man!
How does the AC do in the hottest part of the year? I’m thinking of switching to a kubota, but have heard some of the older Kubota’s AC were not as good.
I am in northeast PA, and we will have some 95 degree days with high humidity in July in August and the tractor did not struggle at all to keep the cab cool. That being said, I have no idea how it would perform down south where the weather is hotter. Hope this helps!
Your summer rain is what our spring rains were... Just enough to🤬 getting anything done...
At least you can bush hog in the rain.
Got a 14' and two 6'.. don't use them.
Can't remember the last rain we had, a couple sprinkles a week or so ago.. 95° yesterday.. weather man said it was only 84🤣😂 he needs to learn how to read a thermometer!! He said today and tomorrow will be the first two days this month to be in the 90s..🤣😂
Once again, needs to learn how to read the thermometer... And he said we only get two days in July at 90 it above... Apparently he doesn't remember a few years ago ... The week of our county Fair, it was 110° for most of it..
Its been a terrible year trying to figure out the weather. Sometimes I think I should just look outside in the morning and see what is going on in the sky, rather than watch the weathermen 😆
@@dehavenfamilyfarm use the weather man as a guide, but look and use your guts to plan the day
What's the rpm you set the m4 during brush cutting
It's getting very dry here. Grass hay is not growing at all.
That's what is happening to my second cut hay- even though I still have 90 acres of first left. I hope things turn around for all of us!
Cutting the tall weeds makes I look better 👍
It sure does make things look nicer. Safe travels!
