    Hey Chris you bring up some valid points in your review. The tool box and the buddy seat definitely need improvement. However, the M4-071 Deluxe has a deluxe seat and is close to the air ride seat comfort you mentioned. The fender mounted 3 point adjustment module is available as an add on, and its invaluable in hooking up implements. It along with a QH20 made a huge difference, especially as I get older. Thanks for the video.

    Watch out changing the loader pins for extra lift. On a lot of the newer type loaders they've got them setup to where you gain lift capacity, but even though you wouldn't think it - you lose digging depth and if the loader already doesn't let down low enough for dealing with awkward terrains, well... Also - yeah that toolbox would get relocated the first week if it wasn't torn off in the mud or something :)

    Interesting take on things and surprises me kubota doesn't off those little creature comforts and controls.. Having leased a few M7s they had a lot of the options you mentioned that you wanted and usually it seems like most will throw on every option to get the bigger price . Kubota def needs to work on some cab quality things if they want to be on level of Case or Deere. I have ran a few different Agco tractors and they are even lacking more than kubota on fit and finish in cab and the controls are even more antiquated. But Agco is slowly bringing in the Fendt Line in smaller size and they will be the Real deal tons of options and build quality would be Cadillac or better. I have the m7060 with the air ride seat it's always malfunctioning from new, the tool box is a joke, it's not a woods tractor, it made strictly for clear cut fields, I was brush cutting a field and I drove over a limb which tore off the fuel line. and another time I was hauling skidding logs and a stick got jammed in exterior gear linkage, the fuel tank is underneath along with the hydraulic pump. So its not made for forestry work. It would be nice if there was a skid plate option which there isn't. Over all I like the tractor and, I would get the m4 it's a bigger cab. I'm an IH guy and consequently a Case IH guy. It's unfortunate that you had such bad luck with the Farmall A tractors. But the A series are the cheapest of the cheapest that Case IH offer. Your 55A, and the later 75A that the dealer provided you with, are built in Turkey. The 70A without a cab that you had briefly is built in India. Quality control in these countries would be really poor, hence the cheap price. This Kubota is a $50K tractor. An equivalent Case IH in this price range would be a Farmall C. These are built in Italy, and are much better built than the Farmall A, even if still not quite as good as the Kubota. Then you have the Maxxum, Vestrum, Puma, Optum and Luxxum (not available in north America yet) built in Austria - these have even better build quality that the Italian built machines. Basically what I'm saying is - I love watching your classic IH and Case IH stuff and I think it's disappointing that because of you experiences with the Farmall A series, you feel like all modern Case IH stuff is junk. Case really messed up with naming so many of their lower hp ranges with the name "Farmall". That just adds confusion to buyers. It's so easy to mistake a Farmall A, C, U as being the same tractor. Anyway, I look forward to seeing more of the classic stuff :)

    • @dehavenfamilyfarm
      @dehavenfamilyfarm  3 года назад +1

      To be honest, I wouldn't say all the new Case IH tractors are junk. The Farmall C series tractors seem like a good tractor, and I would have been interested in one if I had good dealer support in my area. That's really how I ended up with the Kubota- great dealer support. Though I do have to say, my older Maxxums are still my favorite :)

    • @damjord
      @damjord 3 года назад +1

      @@dehavenfamilyfarm Of course dealer support will always be the critical component with any purchase. You did give your Case dealer some praise at various stages of your Farmall A nightmare, but I personally think your dealer got it wrong when supplying you with Farmall A, and then further emphasizing this mistake by upgrading the 55A to a 75A. Your dealer should have been able to look at your operation and the tractors you run, and based on that come to the conclusion that the Farmall A was just not the right tractor for you. But it's all irrelevant now. Lessons learnt and time to move forward. Your 5140 looks great, and I did love that MX100c. I think an MX135 would look great in your shed :)

      I would say so, kubota and deere are more refined than the other companies and especially kubota because for their bullet proof engine and fast hydronic. I mean there is a reason why my family has to of them

      @@dehavenfamilyfarm Yes and I worked for kubota and own 2 of them so I am biased > Not any details about actual performance > re gen or lift stability > other than you hate the seats > like the window pillars not a lot of substance for a review and a review of a product is doomed when you start off these are all going to the sale > 160hr tractor is barely a year old and by the way yes the tool box sucks so does JD and that thing in the way is the main frame that the side frame receivers sit in for loader dismount from. sorry you did not like my response maybe posting publicly is not for you if you have such thin skin

      @@christopherheist1120 lol you seem to be more offended than me. I make these videos with my regular viewers in mind. That being said, all my regular viewers know how much I love Kubota equipment, they know tons of background about the tractor because it's either been in, or mentioned in lots of videos and they know the reason why I am getting rid of it. If I was selling something because it was junk, I would say so as I have in the past. The video is only meant to be a general overview of my opinion of the tractor, not a sales video discussing every specification. If I seem picky to you, it's only because I really did like the tractor and had a tough time finding things I didn't like about it 😉
