Please please for the love of god if you get a blade for the rear and want to move snow with it make sure the blade can be swung 180° to use as a snow plow
Gosh yes I can't tell you how many times I got up and off the tractor to turn the blade I found out if I turn the tractor at agree that the County Highway uses and go in 2nd gear down our driveway I can really call Art LOL this is okay for the first snow but if there's more snow to come you have to be willing to push back the first Powell over to get ready for the second today we're all set up off grid I don't have to worry about finding myself out of the driveway I remember the years I used to help the county and plow out people so they can get to the store I quit doing it when someone complainedBut yeah I would have loved it if I would have had a button that would have turned the blade for me so I didn't have to get up and down
Yall prolly need a Yanny Mar, a Mahiroshima or a Kubotski on yore ranch if you cant seem to fix that good green tractor.🤔🤣🤭🤗😎 They are all hard to work on if you have a hollar spot between yore ears.
To be fair ALL the right to repair stuff is not about this sort of tractor. When your tractor starts to have GPS steering and Drones go up to literally tell your sprayer where to apply it that's when the Deere right to repair issue comes in. And there are other brands at that level causing these issues. Deere doesnt give a frig if you repair your 1023e
Actually there are Several more they did not show. Remember... the name of the video is the “top 10”. Just to name a few.. that I really like, own and appreciate: 1.) Brush Grapple. It was shown on the video but not listed as one of the top ten. We dont have snow so we have no need for a snow blower. We DO have brush and use one almost daily on my farm as well as hiring out to friends and neighbors. 2.) Post hole digger that is hydraulic driven and attachs to the loader instead of the PTO in the rear. As it is fronyt mounted... I dont have to turn around in the seat a look behind me all day to dig holes. I can drive down forward down the fence line while punhing holes, dig straight down holes on steeper slopes that you simply cant do with a rear mounted PTO digger and with the hydraulics... it can be reversered to pull out of heavy clay if the auger gets stuck. Cant do that with a PTO digger.
Actually there are Several more they did not show. Remember... the name of the video is the “top 10”, so it is based on someone’s perception... most will vary. 2.) Loader mounted Post Hole Digger/Auger that is hydraulic driven instead of the rear mounted PTO PHD/Auger as shown in the video. As it is front mounted... I dont have to turn around in the seat a look behind me all day to dig holes. I can drive down forward down the fence line while punching holes, dig straight down holes on steeper slopes (gravity lets the auger dig straight, down, 3 point diggers will not) that you simply cant do with a rear mounted PTO digger and with the hydraulics... it can be reversed to pull out of heavy clay if the auger gets stuck. Cant do that with a PTO digger. I always had to dig tw/three holes wide around the auger, after detaching if it was too tight to reverse by hand. The hydraulic digger? Reverse the hydraulic flow and she spins right out. 3.) A disc. Do not understand how the snow blower made the list and the disc did not I dont have one YET... but am really thinking about a 3 point hitch PTO chipper. Would probably look at a loader mounted PTO chipper if they make one. A 3 point hitch hydraulic log splitter. A two row turning plow
I started with an old Ford tractor I paid $600 for it with a bucket I had to learn how to clutch because it was a different type of clutch and some of the other tractors like Ferguson I have a Yamaha 2900 today with the go pedal reverse pedal love it easy to maneuver safer if I had that a few years ago the things I could have got done spending 20000 to 15000 to get one that's worth it
I have a 5 in 1 Rollover Garden Cultivator Plow....that I design... Been trying to show it to your company and they don't want to even take the time to look at it......
Thanks for the question, John Troy. We do offer several front and rear wheel options on the 1025R Sub-Compact Tractor. @@JohnDeere Good day! I'm highly interested in buying JD tractor (50-70hp) and some implements (listed about "7" which includes; Rotary slasher, Hydraulic reversible 4 mb plough, corn/multipurpose planter, et.al). 1)How do I go about it? 2) How would you guide the beginner on how to fix and operate all the aformentioned modern day implements of yours. 3) Do you have provision for on-the-site practical training/workshop/seminar/ for small scale farmer operating around 50-100acres especially on maize/corn farming? Thanks! IGRO FARM From SW NIGERIA
Thanks for the question. There are definitely a few different options that can help you tackle those weeds as shown here: spr.ly/6054wV73r. We recommend working with your local dealer for assistance determining the implements and attachments perfectly suited to your needs. You can find the contact information for your closest dealers here: spr.ly/6056wV73p. We hope this gets you started.
What make/model of garden hiller will go with JD 5055E with iMatch Quick-Hitch. I have been looking to buy one. Any suggestions would be really appreciated. Thanks.
Jewel, thanks for your interest! Your local John Deere dealership would be happy to assist you in finding the right attachment or implement to fit your needs. If needed, you can find a list of dealers in your area and their contact information at Deere.com/Dealer. In the meantime, you can compare Frontier™ Rotary Tillers here: bit.ly/3a4TAxn.
Send me one so I can try it out because I live on a 250 acre ranch and my mower is about 25 years old and she’s starting to wear down A little bit looking to buy a new mower
Maybe a decent refurbish is a good and economical call. After all new bearings , new blades, new oils. And a few other ancillaries, like a lick of paint! Might be all you need for a small fraction of the cost of a new one! Worth considering. ;-)
That's not what we like to hear, Michael! If you haven't already, we recommend contacting your local dealer for further assistance. You can find their contact information at Deere.com/Dealer.
Backhoes.... and I will disagree with you post hole diggers rock if you need one. We used to string fence almost every weekend in summer at my uncle's dairy. One tractor lived with the digger mounted and a stack of posts on the front end loader. Anytime things got slow you were digging in fence posts down one or another place. But what they are best for is planting trees and such.
I'm going to need a pleading apology from you...clearly you forgot to give me the pallet forks/frame, box blade, York rake, 3 point chipper with a 6" capacity for my 88' 1050.....yeah I'm going to forgive you must've slipped your mind but make sure you call before the semi truck shows up for you to deliver all my new 6'-7' implements you FORGOT to give me. I severely need most of them so it's time for you to get a hustle on already stop wasting time as I am waiting.
Thanks for making this video. What a great day we had! I was 4 or 5 on the fender my Dad mentioned.
Those wild fruits look amazing! 🌿
Proud to be owner of john deere tractors
Be sure to wash out the salt before using the spreader for seed or fertilizer.
And wash it even if you dont use fertilizer, it will rust so fast if theres salt
Sounds like there was a hard lesson learned there
I dont even own a Farm but i feel so maskulin with all those John Deers in the Videos
Top 10 for me.
Bucket
Flail mower
Tiller
Land plane
York Rake
Cultipacker
Post hole digger
My home made trash pump
Subsoiler
Own 2019 49066R and have 7 of the 10 implements for the small tractor on the farm
#8 for sure for the gardeners out there!
Like the order in which you place the usage of them, if you have trees you need a stump grinder

I have a Kubota. Deere machines are great too, but you are short-sighted if you are focused on a single brand. Just saying.
I wish I could afford it..... But I can't own even the basic equipment.... Even in dreams
I want to buy this tractor, how much it cost?
They showed about 8 different models from about 25K to 50+K used in this video
@@pbgd3 the tractor is only 50K? I thought would be 100K+
U missed a cement mixer
Mine has 3cylinder yanmar diesle
😊
Yea most JD tractors are yanmar
All the compacts are, 5 series and above are Deere engines
Those made in Mexico assembled in pune india but again yanmar is guided by standards for JD, more JD engines, Cummins etc .
Ha ha haaaaa only 10?
auger is the ABSOLUTE BIGGEST WASTE OF MONEY. hands down no other tractor impliment is a useless.
