When Tom got reliable/unreliable on his second go I was just hoping his clue was going to be the British government every time
I love how not only BGC has lore of it's own at this point, but Wavelength itself has a ton of history and callbacks. This episode had some incredible banter and jokes. Would love to see Dan back at the table!
I love that in the "hairless vs. hairy" round, Laurie literally specifies "as a whole" to make sure they consider his entire head... and his teammates immediately disregard any perspective other than a front-on face view. You didn't even need to see Laurie react to know he was seething inside the whole of that short discussion!
Please can we get Laurie reading the full list of Chuck Norris facts. Just one after the other in the interview chair.

The amount of sepia tone to technicolor is actually close to 50/50. That clue made perfect sense to me (a self proclaimed Wizard of Oz fanatic). Also, the scenes outside of the wicked witch's castle and in the forbidden forest are extremely limited in color as well.
I love how when they all heard “un/sexy animal”, they immediately went to literal animals, instead of the phrase which refers to an attractive person (also see: “foxy”, “sexy beast”).
17:06 - I see what Sully was going for here and it was really clever, but you can see the "oh no" expression on his face when they start talking about 20 or 30%
also, kinda funny that the exact opposite situation played out around 46:00 (the hairy/hairless)

This was fun to watch. When Sullivan said blobfishes were the unsexiest animals I said "yes!" out loud, and it was very funny how Tomska argued against that. I'm looking forward to the next game. I hope you play equinox or captain sonar some day.
tbf blobfishes look like normal fish when they're in their natural environment at 750ish atmospheres of pressure. the "ugly" ones we meme about are basically exploded corpses
So definitely the same gaming session as Muffin Time, since they’re all in the same clothes 😂 amazed they can put up with each other for so long, but great content!
I played this game with my mom and her friends (well, I "hosted" it for them to play) once, and they had an absolute blast once they got in the zone. They were laughing, talking, having discussions, and after every round they'd spend a few minutes just goofing around about the clue until someone else got up to have a go. Every time they were right on they'd cheer, when they were just off they'd "rassifrassin" in mock frustration, and when they were way off they'd all just laugh and the clue giver would say something like "I probably should've said something else, shouldn't I?" Instant hit, can't recommend this game highly enough to anyone, because you can play it with literally anyone. Strangers? Try giving a general clue. Good friends? Maybe give a clue that you know one will catch on to and hope they steer everyone in the right direction.
Been refreshing all day for this! Wavelength easily one of my favourites 👍🏼 Recently bought a copy. First time they’ve done this one in person as well. Keep up the entertaining content guys!

Another awesome episode! I've been binging everything NRB since I found the channel, and am having a blast. You guys bring some of the best board game content to youtube, honestly. (And are personally responsible for me adding Blood on the Clocktower, Wavelength, Six Nimmt, and Unmatched to my collection. )
I owe a big thanks to NRB! I've wanted to get into board games for a while but don't really have anyone to play with. A board game cafe/restaurant opened up a short drive from my house and when I brought up checking it out I was surprised how many people wanted to go too.

Be honest, if Sully was running for MP, or a government leadership position, how many people would vote for him? Honestly I would.
"Romancing The Stone" was the PERFECT clue there. I've only seen part of it but I knew exactly where he was going with that. Another few films that I think fit "adventure, not action" would be The Goonies and Cast Away, Cast Away being a borderline choice but I think any Robinsonade counts as an adventure story, and that movie is much more drama-centric than "action-y".

at the start of this video I managed to drop my laptop on the floor and it hit the floor at the exact same point that Dan started clapping. it felt like I was being mocked
Triforce of Power is perfect for Adam given that it's usually held by Ganon, who by the end always loses.
I honestly could watch NRB play wavelength every week and never get bored of it! Love this!
