Technically speaking we are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints so we are still Christians. We believe that Heavenly Father has restored his true Church through Joseph Smith and we believe that he still guides us through the Prophets with continous revelation. We also like to keep our lives clean so most members have not and will not see the musical, even though we do not want it to be boycotted because we believe that everyone is free to believe in what they want as long as they don't physically hurt anyone.

Ah yes, the two very different religions: Catholicism and Christianity
well Catholicism is drastically different from any other christian denomination, and their beleifs are so extreme that most christians don't consider them the same religion.
DEUS VULT yes but as I said their views are quite different. Just as other extreme types of church like the ones you mentioned are often not accepted as actually being true Christians, which they aren’t, Catholics aren’t seen as the same as Christian since that denomination is much more different than any other.
@@ilikecranes1576 Actualy Catholicism came before all the Christan denominations other than the Eastern Orthodox. It wasn't until the Protestant Reformation that non-Catholic Christianity started to show up and some were for political and personal gain. Also their beliefs are not so much extreme as they are by the book and very detail oriented. People who dont know the meanings wont realise it, but as a Catholic who has wondered before about why we do certain things regarding religion that others would consider extreme, I have found that all of it is based on the Bible, every phrase that a priest says during Mass and the audience is in the Bible in some way or another. Every ceremony, action and phrase in the Catholic faith can be explained in Scripture.

Not really since 1441 isn't the year when Islam was founded. This year is 1441 in the Islamic calendar. And since Islam has existed since forever it doesn't really have a date of founding or whatever.

As an analogy, do you believe that Joe Nickelrock from Milwaukee exists or doesn't exist? Chances are, you don't believe either way; you just don't have any belief on the matter. That's basically the atheist position on god; we don't have a position.

If your government is based on the church it will become more and more extreme, that’s why secular governments that allow the freedom of and freedom from religion are so vital to modern society

Let's agree we worship one god and to him we submit, the Quran identifies God as the Father btw... so saying the Father or the God is equivalent, so the trinitarian understanding it literally saying "God the son, God God, and God the holy spirit are God", which is quite redundant because the Father alone is God as a direct way to call him, and the jews use that expression also, it's a jewish expression that Christians redefined, especifically the paganized sects in the land of the Gentiles.
Fun fact, the Quran actually calls Christians "Nasara", probably refering to Nazareans, the trut Christians, if you read the Bible, there was a beef among Paul and James the just and Peter.
Well, now people take more the side of Paul, they claim he was the "messenger to the gentiles", but the Quran seems to discard that notion, or at least not aknowledge it, and the Bible even makes it seem as if Paul is a false prophet/messenger, and a wolf in sheep's clothing, this was even acknowledged by Christian scholars in very early times, but they kinda made it look as if "he changed now, those references talk about his past only"... yeah... Also prophet Muhammad saw is refered as the Gentile prophet, the prophet for Gentiles, if you read Isaiah 42, it talks about probably Cyrius the great, as one anointed by God (there are more than one messiah btw, even tho people expected one last to come, and we say that is Jesus the son of Mary pbuh) and then it prophecises, and gives a quite neat prophecy that matches the last prophet of Islam's mission... quite perfectly. And it is understood that the beginning, is like a type of a justice/law giver to the Gentiles, so Muhammad saw, like Cyrius, both gentiles, are by God sent to give lawness to Gentiles, the opposite of lawlessness and claiming the law is a Curse that Paul claimed...
So judge for yourself, we all believe Jesus pbuh is the messiah, unlike jews... so i would argue it's not Jesus vs Muhammad saw, it's actually Paul vs Muhammad saw, and as they say, for their fruits you shall know them... the huge Muslim empire, thousands accepting Christ, and reverting to monotheism from paganism... having an actual clear clean law...
That vs insulting real disciples of Christ, killing them before also must be aknowledged, and after keeping the insulting and whatnot... Notice the "morning devours his prey" refers to the killing of disciples, and "in the evening divides his plunder" refers to the division of believers, leading them astray into lawlessness and thus to the fire.

@Maker Man X Here is the issue with that argument, how do you know that the religion you picked is correct? also it is scientifically absurd to think there is an invisible man in the sky, so even though in an environment without science it would make sense, in an environment with science its absurd. Third, why does *every single religion* and their scripture focus on one time period, namely, the time period when the religion was historically started? Just some food for thought.
Basically you're not believing in the certain existence of a god, you're believing that there is a very slim possibility that a god exists.
In other words "I don't personally think god is real, but if I'm wrong then I will have to deal with [insert means of eternal torture here] and I really don't want to mess with that so I might as well"

@@JacobRy well personally im Christian and the believe that somewhere out there in this almost empty shell of a universe there is someone or something that is looking over me and my loved ones brings me hope and makes me have faith that every thing will be alright. And i know that there are some flaws with my religion like if god flooded the world how do we have animals over in north america? But its faith and trust in what you believe that can do wonders to people it brings comfort to people to know someone out has a plan for this madness in life. There's a reason people believe in these things and im fine if you don't believe the same as me, some of my best friends are atheists and im cool with that. I believe its good for us to have different views on this. But just food for thought here is since there is almost no proof god doesn't exist then is the same faith as us the believe he does exist. So people who do believe are closer to people who don't believe then some may think. To answer the "how do you know if you picked the right one" well thats what faith is knowing that what you picked what right or trusting in others.

On the Abuse Crisis, that’s mostly about gay priest abusing their authority and the Church for their own gain. It has little to nothing todo with Faithful Priest and Laymen.

@@imja_ Well, it's a really specifically important aspect of confession that you have to actually be truly sorry for your sins and truly intend to not commit them again, otherwise it doesn't count.

Coke products are fine, although some members might not know that, since they're just doing what their friends/family are doing and assume that it's the rule.
