I think there's an important lesson behind the French surrender joke, a country that was scarred by one war which made people indecisive. France lost the war before it even began, the same as Belgium who also wanted nothing to do with the war. Sure, England was brave for keeping the fight alive but the channel is what really saved them. England never had the same trauma as some of its allies because the fighting was never on their island.
Also it isn't funny. France could have lost its culture if they didn't surrender, because the Axis were threatening to destroy all of the art in Paris. Including the Eiffel Tower
Plus, France has won the most battles in total out of every country in history.

That meme is so wrong though. France won hundreds of battles and somewhere around 50-70 wars. Plus the French held out the longest against Germany when Germany invaded EVERYTHING.
I don't want to nitpick, but "national socialism" and "juche socialism" are not forms of socialism. Hitler's nationalist party called itself socialist to make the ideology more palatable to average german citizens. The communists and other socialists who lived in Germany got sent to... you know. Juche, or self-reliance, is more of totalitarian center than a left ideology. North Korea was socialist until 1972, but Jongism or Juche was adopted after that, which is what led to the creation of the pariah state we see today.
Yeah, you can really tell someone doesn't know what they're talking about when they say, "well, Nazis were socialist because they said so" when socialists where some of the first people they killed. They only called themselves socialist because of the rising popularity of socialism in germany at the time.

Corporatism is an economic system where three bodies (body = corpus in latin) work in cooperation and negotiation in the economy: one body is the government, one body is business, one body is labor. An example can be found in pre-thatcher England, where the government, the TUC, and the British Chamber of Commerce negotiated with eachother on economic matters.
