Yes, Shawn! You are right. It is just too bad that not everyone agrees that Chuck Berry is a true king of Rock n Roll, along with Bo Diddley and Little Richard. In fact, one of the youtube commenters (whose name is SS PP) I was having a debate with told me that I was wrong for calling African-Americans true kings of Rock n Roll and Rock music in general. If you are true music historian, Shawn, can you give this man, SS PP, a true history lesson on the true history of Rock n Roll and Rock music (ruclips.net/video/zJAO5gMgaIw/видео.html): Arkie Shibley - Hot Rod Race (1950) . Took my pre-teen daughters to a theme park back in the 80's. Chuck was playing that night. The girls had, or course, never heard of him and got pouty about having to sit though his performance. Halfway through the first song they were starting to come alive. By the end of the second song they were rockin' out big time and diggin't it. That night was their real introduction to rock and roll. Thanks for the music and the memories Chuck!
